When I moved in 5 years ago, I would have given it 4 stars. Since then, the rent keeps going up and the "perks" have been taken away. Lawn service is no longer provided. I was told they were putting in a community garden. That never happened. Trash service was included in the lot rent. Now it is a separate charge, and you have to use the service of their choosing. My home was gifted to me and is too old to move so I've been told otherwise I would be looking for a place to move it to. I wish I knew who actually owns this property so I could tell them to their face they are greedy people that are only concerned with their own profit margins and do not care about the residents. The people in the office on site are great, but they are unable to address residents' concerns because they have to do what the greedy owners want. read more

The new homes are junk and have way too many issues. All our windows leak as well as the doors. The floor and walls are turning to much under them. Been without a vent in master bath for 5 years they fixed or should I say rigged it and surprise it's not working again. Our microwave went out over 4 years ago and remains broken. Several work order requests have been made for various issues and are over 3 years old. Had a pool of water under our home due to the air conditioning not being installed right. It stunk the house up 4 over a month. Insulation was never replaced. All windows and doors need replaced and we have been lied to several times that they are on order. Been over two years . I worked as a maintenence man and have seen first hand how cheap and dishonest management operates. The lake is full of Ecolie and all they did is post no swimming signs . Never once telling residents and future residents the serious health issues with the lake. They also found a set of maintenence keys in the parking lot with homes numbers attached to each key . Was told not to say anything to cooperate. Look else where and find a safe decent home that cares about their property because lakeview does not. Safety is another issue all together. There are transients living on back side of Lake in tree line. And there is a resident that has been caught firing a gun inside the park. They cut a deal with his mom so he's still in the park. read more

I lived here for two year with my parents then started having my own trailer. no one care to slow down at all . there is always people fly down the road not that long ago my neighbor right next to us hit our lab puppy ,we have a gate on our porch but it was open that day and his owner was at his parents across the street the lady hit the dog going pretty fast he got like that he wasn't very bad injured . The office never told us that people can swim in the lake have seen so many families go with their babies and kids down and swim. The office just need speed bumps this wasn't the first time that a animal got hit by our trailer.the office just needs to do better it's a nice place to live but needs more improvements and a lot more communication from the office. read more

Do not under any circumstances move here, if you value the things you own or want a safe space to live with good storm shelters, at a par that keeps their promise then stay away. When we originally moved here rent was $250 a month with trash service included and recycling carts at the front of the park.It wasn't perfect because the roads were a little rough. A new owner took over and raised the rent , but repaved the roads and drive ways As well as took over the mowing responsibility, they also promised a path around the lake, horseshoe pits and cleaning up of the lake.They moved in a bunch of rentals and crime increased , people started speeding through the park putting kids and pets in danger. Then before they finished the plans it was sold again and the rent was raised once more. Again they promised a path around the lake and other improvements. Never happened, they also took away the mowing and started charging extra for trash , you have to use their trash company. Since then rent has yet again been raised. For the first part of the year they didn't even mow the vacant lots until mid June. The grass was over 2 feet tall. Now that they mowed they have decided it's time to start charging the tenants a fee if they don't mow and another fee if they have to mow it. My husband was hurt at work and can't walk to mow and I am disabled and can't mow either, we have had friends and family mow it, in fact it was mowed less than 2 weeks ago. However they say that due to the fair housing laws they can't make an accommodation for disabled residents. Let's add to this that the storm shelter nor the office are handicap accessible. The storm shelter is over a half a mile away from the lots in the back of the park. So again I say, do not move here, they even tried to charge us a pet deposit on our lot for an indoor cat in the house we own. Crime is increasing people are even getting their catalytic converters stolen out of their own driveway. I have personally witnessed a pickup truck speeding down our street narrowly missing a 4 year old kid that was outside playing. Stay away, do not recommend. 0 stars read more
