Unfortunately I had a poor experience at Lakeview Nails. I made an appointment for dip with tips and got there for my appointment time. I waited 25 minutes before someone could take me. As soon as I sat down it was clear they were rushed to get me out of there. They decided to close early as I was in there and were turning people away even though they were still supposed to be open for another hour. They were cleaning up and getting ready to leave as I was in the middle of my nails. My fingers were raw from the aggressive shaving but the nails looked fine in the end. However, one broke two days later while doing a simple task. Will not be going back. read more

I love this place! I have someone that takes care of my acrylic/nail art needs, but occasionally I give my nail bed a rest. That's when I come here. They do soak off, gel, no-chip, and even acrylic. It can be frustrating that a lot of places seem to bypass the "manicure" stage, speeding through the care aspect to get the polish done quickly. Definitely not the case here! This is a no-frills salon. The decor is basic at best BUT don't judge a book by it's cover. Got a much needed no-chip and pedicure on a Saturday. Walked in at maybe 5:15 and was done just after 7. The guy that did my no-chip was great. It took a little longer than it would usually because the nail polish was a little runny and so he had to do very thin coats to make sure it was even (apparently this is a common issue with Essie gel polishes..guess I'll stick to OPI) but my nails look great given that obstacle. The woman that did my toes did not speak much English but that's okay because English is not the only language out there. My feet feel soft and the polish looks good. Only $55 for the pedi and no chip which is cheap/standard for the area! Color choice is pretty good especially for the big brands. The lotion they used smells great. On a side note, there was this horrible woman (a customer) who was being rude to the technician because she planned her day badly. The manager or owner (whoever answers the phone) handled the situation well and refunded her money even though she was awful. If it were me, I wouldn't have given her the refund and hoped she never came back. read more

I booked 3 mani-Pedi packages and they were open to take us in the same day. When you visit Lakeview Nails, just hope you're one of the lucky ones that will end up having one of their good technicians working with you. We walked in with long nails ready to have a flawless experience & leave with better but still long nails. Mine were cleaned but shortened more than I wanted & they weren't filed evenly. My sister left furious because she had long beautiful nails, but the technician filed them way more than what my sister asked for and they weren't even filed evenly (Look pic)! My mom had it worse when her technician dug harshly deep into her cuticles leaving her with an abrasion on at least 2 of her fingers (Look pic). The tips of our nails began breaking the very next day, and this didn't happen to me the first time here when I had a good technician working with me. I called to report this to them when my mom's fingers kept burning, and the lady who answered the phone got defensive asking what I wanted her to do about it! I hate giving negative review but I feel like I'm obligated to warn my fellow Yelpers. I'm surprised with the high ratings of this place. Not only it is not clean, I left with 3 fingers bleeding on both hands. They kept cutting the cuticles until my fingers are bleeding. Everything they put on afterwards burnt my fingers. When they finished, they just shook off the nail dust on the towel, flipped on the other side and used it for the next customer. Didn't even bother getting a brand new towel for the next person. Please, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I don't even know why I tipped her. read more
