Chris and Sara, the owners, who also live onsite, go out of their way to please their customers. I rented a 10-ft truck from them last week, when they already had promised all their 10-ft-ers to others; Chris decided to give a free size upgrade to one of the customers that had reserved a 10-ft, so that he could rent that 10-ft to me, a local repeat customer. Wow! He and Sara practically treated me, an 81-year-old who lives very close by in a seniors mobile home park, like family, even giving me a discount when I returned the truck. What a way to treat an occasional, repeat customer! I've also seen their interactions with other customers, treating everyone to friendly, efficient service. They are also a Certified Green Business, and all of their power comes from solar panels, so they really care about our environment. They deserve 10 stars!

This feels like really bad business and almost unethical. And from what I see from other reviews, this seems to be their mode of operation. Get you in, and then immediately raise your rent. If it weren't more trouble for me to move my things at this very moment, I would, but I have to stick with it for a moment, but as soon as I can vacate I will. People are nice enough and the facility is nice enough, it just feels like a terrible cash grab, and a bait and switch frankly. I spoke with Public Storage "customer service" and the quality of the interaction left a lot to be desired. I just don't understand why every business these days just over-over-over charges all of their customers. I guess because they can? Like I said, doesn't feel ethical to me, but I guess it's their call, and we just have to deal with the consquences. This is my first -- and last -- time renting from Public Storage. Then it converted over to a reasonable (for the area) monthly rate as they explained would occur. The only thing I would have liked better is to make the rental signing contract process quicker. Perhaps allow the customer to fill it out prior online. It seemed to take a long time in person. But this is an issue with corporate. Covid protocol was followed.
