For 2 of us, paid $30 total for one night for a tent site (tent sites are in the strip of land across the road from the main office). The tent site was much better than I thought. 1. only 3 parties there in a very large area reserved for tent only camping, we were very spread out and it was pretty peaceful 2. camp site right next to a beautiful creek! 3. had electric outlets and tap faucet right next to the tent site. We didn't bring anything that could be plugged into an outlet but thinking in the future I could be sitting in a hammock and watching a movie on my laptop while being charged 4. camp site didn't have a fire pit or an obvious hole in the ground where you make your fire safely but we were out climbing very late and too tired to make a fire anyways when we got back. Lots of fallen branches you can collect to make a fire. The other 2 parties had built fires, didn't see how they did it. 5. the shower house closest to the main offices had large showers which were in decent level of cleanliness, paper towels kept running out though so bring your own Overall, very happy with this campground and will definitely come back in the future! A couple of things I noticed (1) the area where RV's are parked looked pretty crowded and also loud (2) I don't think I saw anyone else wearing masks around the campground, even when a lot of people were going in and out of the office. The 2 of us may be the only ones wearing masks there, when going into the office and using the bathroom

Since then there have been a lot of changes under the management of the new owners!!! The new owners have done a terrific job updating and cleaning up the property in just a short 6 months. They have remodeled cabins, painted the bath houses and pavilions, reinforced and painted the playground and fixed the roads that lead to each of the 3 levels of the grounds. That's just the beginning of what they have in store for upcoming seasons. It has been so much fun meeting new people who have been so kind and friendly!! We've had numerous gatherings at the main pavilion with live music, food, games and hay rides!!! 4th of July weekend they put on a fireworks display and at Halloween a Trunk or Treat for the kids!!! I love our new campground family!!!

We bought our camper back in April when the season just began. Christmas Pines was one of the nicer and clean campgrounds in the area. So we decided to pay the entire season upfront to be weekend warriors most of the summer. We had to pull out a few times when it was full and no open sites to put us in. We didn't mind we just put it in storage those weeks. About three weeks in we were like oh gosh what did we do?!?! The entire atmosphere changed in that short amount of time. The kindness had worn off and the unkind came to light. For weeks we would see this gentleman around everywhere hanging out with the "mayor". Never said hi or spoke a word to us, We thought he was just another camper. Turns out he was the OWNER! We were so floored he never even introduced himself or made us feel welcome to any degree. We keep and kept to ourselves but geez to see us up at the store or pass us on the road you can at least say hi. Nope nothing. It got old real quick when we noticed others started doing the same thing. We didn't even know these people. Never saw them before in our lives. As the weeks went on we felt less joy going and missed many weekends making other plans to avoid having to deal with that. We were just buying our time to leave at the end of the season even though we were super excited and in hopes of getting a permanent site for the 2024 season in the beginning. We thought this would be where we would call our second home. Weeks went on, we stopped spending the night and just went up to check on things and make lunch or dine r there and leave. now we are at the end of September, this is where it needs to be public knowledge. I get to the camper, just to make dinner, open the door to a stench I can not even describe. Go ti turn the lights on and they flicker at best. I'm like what in the world. Never had an issue all summer. So I go around to the power box to discover that the switch had been turned off. I immediately call the owners wife and get no answer. I text her that someone turned off our electric. She calls me back and by this time I'm standing in a puddle of water/melted food juice that has ran all over the floor because it seeped through the freezer and fridge seal. It was probably laying there a good week. She says no one turned off your electric. You probably kicked a breaker. I had several complaints about your unit running nonstop for days and I meant to call you. BUT SHE DIDN'T and the fridge is residential not backing up to the propane. We live 15 minutes away! Not only did it spoil two fridges of food, the fluid on the floor ran everywhere. So we are unable to use our camper the rest of the season because we don't know where that water all ended up. Is it near electric? Who knows. We have to wait and see what the dealer tells us. We have our suspicions that this was done intentionally. But if not, why not call us. It could have been any malfunction going on that could have ended much worse. . Who knows what could have happened. We have it there, we pay for the security and peace of mind that the owners live on site and keep a close eye on things but yet our camper is unusable at this time and not sure what the diagnosis will be. One simple Phone call or text and a 15 min drive could have changed the entire outcome. Our camper is a 2022, it could be totaled with the damage. Take it for what it's worth.

The large property had site choices that ranged from creekside, woods, ridgetop with views... all were great spots (we chose a ridgetop spot overlooking a beautiful valley). Went down to where the band was set up... had some ridiculously good, homecooked food, some beers/sangria (you can BYOB too) & listened to the band rock out some great tunes. After a great night hanging with close friends & meeting new ones, visited the "clubhouse" to find plenty of showers, a pool & a fun place to hang if it were crappy out (or even if it wasn't)... pool table, foosball, etc. Everyone was very welcoming & just wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Ty is a great host as are his family members who help run the operation. All real bikers here... owners, employees & patrons... awesome place, great time... we'll be back!

While we were enjoying the pool, the owner approached my 16-year-old son -- without any greeting or introduction -- and rudely told him, "you don't think much," simply because he was drinking a can of carbonated water. He then gave him the choice to either throw it away or leave the pool area entirely. Update: After leaving a respectful but honest review, the owner came to our site and kicked us out. We were quiet, respectful guests. This kind of retaliatory behavior speaks volumes about how guests are treated here. Avoid this place if you value a safe, welcoming environment. This kind of unprovoked and disrespectful comment toward a teenager is completely unacceptable. The owner then went on to scold the kids for playing with the fountains in the pool -- which begs the question, what are the fountains for if not for enjoyment? To top it off, he cleared the entire pool area by 1 PM on a hot Saturday, which just added to the unwelcoming and unfriendly atmosphere. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome during what was supposed to be a fun family getaway. We will absolutely not be returning, and we don't recommend this campground to anyone looking for a warm, family-friendly environment.

The owners have painstakingly taken extra care in making sure each room is very special. Every room is decorated differently and mine was the Rock n Roll Room. It was very roomy and was kept immaculately clean. Upon entering I could smell the real leather sofa and chairs as I walked in. There's a full size leather couch, a coffee table and large armed chair near the bed. The side table has two glasses and a variety of different alcoholic seltzers and beers on it complimentary.There's another table across the room with a retro light blue Keurig looking coffeemaker with pods and creamers. They have a large TV that can be positioned to different angles in the room, and a retro mini Fridge, and a retro style Microwave to complement the look.The bed is king size and very comfortable. Near it on the wall is a hand painted replica of piano keys. On the opposite wall near the couch is a mandolin, and across the room near the closet is a guitar. There's also framed gold 45's with the original songs written out on paper next to it. One is the Doors , and the other is Don McLean (American Pie.) The shower curtain was super cool and edgy. When you first walk in you can smell the real leather on the couches. There was also a long table with a chair in the opposite corner. Near the bathroom is a closet with an iron and ironing board. There's a vanity area with a sink, mirror and plugs to do your hair and makeup. Outside they have a large fire pit and some Adirondack chairs. Near our room outside was a wooden bench to sit and read or just take in all the natural surroundings. There is no sign out front for this place. In the very front by the entrance is a white trellis and black mailbox. That's how you can find it. You are only 5 minutes from town and it's very peaceful here. We look forward to returning and will definitely stay here again
