Note: all orders are done via their website. Address for pickup only. Last year the wonderful coffeehouse/bakery/eatery "The Market" closed on Larimer St in Downtown Denver. The former bakers at The Market have opened their own bakery where they make the famous "Spring Fling" cakes as well as many others. I ordered a carrot cake for a birthday and it was wonderful and just like the cakes I used to get at The Market. Highly recommended. Good photos of their stuff on their Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/lalasbakerydenver/

Lala's lemon poppy spring fling is my favorite cake ever! Very fresh and flavorful, and each time the cake is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for celebrations or gatherings.

Love it!!! Just like the cakes at the previous Larimer location. The ladies at the bakery are just so kind & amazing & very timely. They accidentally made Mango cream cupcakes instead of Mango Fling but they owned up to their mistake & not only corrected their order but also gave us the Mango cream cupcakes too! What a way to run a small business. I am coming here for all of my cupcake/cake needs! Thank u so much for carrying the Spring Fling legacy!

My wife always loved the spring fling cake from The Market and wanted it for her Birthday from LaLa's. LaLa's did not disappoint, was just as she remembered and perfectly moist. The online ordering and pickup process was super smooth. Highly recommend giving LaLa's Bakery your business.

Lala's provided our cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding! All of the guests raved about the flavors, and the care and detail they took to decorate each cupcake was amazing. They offer a wedding flight of cupcakes for you to try out different flavors of cupcakes. Would highly recommend for any event or wedding!

When looking for a cake, I could always go to Sams club or king Soopers. Although they are very generic. Until I found Lala's bakery, Now I have to look no farther. A kind and friendly staff, as well as amazing owners. They were very helpful in helping me plan a beautiful and fun birthday cake. I could tell they put a lot of time and effort into this cake. Very fair and reasonable prices. I also ordered some cupcakes of their spring fling and Mixed berry. They were all very rich, moist and delicious but most of all the very very fresh fruit. I will definitely be coming back for all the cake needs in my life. and recommending them to anyone in need of a bakery. Thank you ladies so much for the best cake and experience.

They have really good cakes. Beautifully decorated and the frosting is not too sweet. Definitely recommend.

Seating is fun at the garage door watching the world go by or inside seating is extremely comfortable. I love the mini pastries, especially the orange cream and fruit tart. My husband loves the cherry Danish. Our grandkids love the peanut butter/chocolate pastries and the cookies. They have made several of my birthday cakes. I try different flavors every time. The focaccia bread is amazing! I use it to make pizza and hot roast beef sandwiches with horseradish cream and sautéed onions. The farm bread is delicious toasted with butter. The quiche is always good, but sells out fast I love how they have cookies for every possible occasion and season. They also carry Mudpie brand kitchenware with a sense of humor! It hasn't changed much in terms of decor and yummy offerings in the pastry case but darn! I wish I had gotten here early because almost all my previous favorites were wiped out! My group chose the chocolate chip muffin and chocolate croissant and they weren't disappointed. Fluffy and fresh and not too sweet. I had myself a London fog with almond milk and it's just as good and hot as I remembered. I also snagged a cinnamon bread, and...well it was a bit dry with hardly any cinnamon. Kinda disappointing but hey, like I mentioned above, next time I will get here earlier, especially on a weekend, and see if I can't claim one of their yummy blueberry muffins! Be aware it's also really crowded on a Saturday morning, making it difficult to maneuver around the place. They have lovely sidewalk patio seating for the warm days coming our way soon. The ube latte was perfectly sweet with a strong ube flavor. The crème brûlée cruffin had a top that was so crispy from the toasted sugar that I couldn't cut into it, and the bottom was just stuffed full of cream. It was super messy to eat and impossible to share- next time I am getting my own. We also had the pandan coconut cupcake, which was good but not as exciting as the cruffin. The pandan and coconut were both equally strong flavors- I liked it better than my husband did. The Thai tea cake in a cup was also excellent, but outshone by the cruffin. They were out of a few other things we wanted to try by 11am on a Saturday, so get there early if you want something specific. The gentleman running the counter was very friendly and efficient, even when they were busy. Seriously, get the crème brûlée cruffin. I know I will be back for it.

I think I built it up in my head so it sat on a pedestal from all the buzz I've heard. Everything was fine but again, expected something wow worthy. We came here for lunch, love that everything is to go. I was sad to see the traditional cold cut banh mi sold out for the day I pivoted and went with lemongrass pork sandwich. Similar fixing to banh mi, it tasted fine but the pork was rough and tasted ok. They have gorgeous pastries and Vietnamese coffee drinks, I would come back for one of those. We split a cup of cakes (cute!), Boston Thai Tea. Flavor was spot on and appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. I would stop here again if I was in the area and needed a banh mi but don't see that happening. I would rather go to Federal or Aurora for one with more flavor.
