My experience was awful! I ordered to-go and got the flautas. What was supposed to be a nice meal turned into my worst nightmare. When I was moving my food and out came a cockroach lying there already dead. This showcases their extremely poor sanitation and kitchen hygiene. Food: The meat in my two enchilada plate was all gristle. I came early in the day, so they can't have been scraping the bottom of the barrel either. The flavor of the meat was also off. It wasn't salted enough or flavored in any way. There was also a lot of filler vegetables which were not listed on the menu. If I wanted an enchilada that was half undercooked onion and bell pepper I would have ordered it that way The enchilada sauce and cheese that topped it wasn't bad and the tortillas weren't either but I seriously doubt any of it was made in house. The rice was also under seasoned but not that bad. The house salsas were fine, not good or bad, the green was slightly better than the red. On food alone, I probably won't be back, but I haven't tried anything else on their menu, so give it a try if you dare. Who knows, maybe I inadvertently picked the worst menu item. Service: The gentleman who took my order was very nice and he help my to go food from being made until I had eaten and was ready for it, or he made it and kept it in back, it's unclear, but he was very nice. Ambiance: They have no chairs that are not attached to the tables, and being a bigger gal, I was unable to sit comfortably at any of the tables. Born and raised in la and I've been up and down the west coast. I know it when I taste it and this is it. The tacos I ordered were great, they aren't hand made tortillas but for I will not fault them for that. They offered buche, which is a rarity unless it's authentic. The salsa was ok, understandable see that their clientele is Wichita. Beans and rice, just like home. Chips were amazing, fresh and crunchy. (And free) I'll be coming back before I leave. read more

The food here was wonderful and plentiful, the restaurant was clean, but the cashier could have been friendlier and the plastic forks are too flimsy... I had the two burritos meal and my son had the two tacos. Both plates came with rice and beans with neither of us leaving hungry! I'll be back, but I'll bring my own fork! read more

Stopped in on a whim one day - it could have been worse, but it certainly could have been a whole lot better. There are a ton of great local Mexican options in this area of town, and you'd be better served finding one of them (the best being Taco Fajita @ Meridan & McCormick). The wait wasn't great and the food was only passable. I don't feel like my burrito had the highest quality carne asada I've ever tasted and the sides were totally uninspired. This won't be a complete failure if you come here, but you won't leave excited to come back. TLDR; Great if you are out of gas and about to starve to death - you won't leave hating this place. It's been years since I've found a good taco joint here in Wichita. My nephews told me about this place and it was down the street from us. I was craving Tripas tacos and heard this place was where it's at. My GF of course wanted to try their Lengua tacos. When I went up and ordered, something else caught my eyes. I seen a little sign that said "Hot Cheetos Nacho Fries". BOOM. I had to get that too. The tacos are pretty big and flavorful.. they could work on their salsas tho. idk this is gonna be alot but me and my sister went tonight around 11 pm. i got 5 carne asada tacos & a bean burrito, my sister got 3 carne asada tacos, 1 chicken taco and 2 rolled tacos. first off, she found a toothpick in the rolled taco, the what was supposed to be carne asada looked like hamburger meat and also the red salsa isn't even hot, the green salsa is hotter i feel like. maybe it was because it was late but overall 2/10 i wouldn't go back read more

Do you want a reason to not get food from this place? Are used to like this place however there is a young lady that runs the drive-through, if you place an order through DoorDash and the driver tries to get the order, there is a nine and 10 likelihood she will refuse to take your order let alone make it. Even if the order was taken at a certain point she will simply refuse to allow the cooks to make it. In a day and age where restaurants depend on business right now to survive, this woman could put these people under if she continues to turn away business. I asked for grilled chicken soft tacos as I always get and was given hard shell shredded chicken when I informed the staff the cook refused to make them stating grilled chicken was reserved for burritos only. It's okay. The food is somewhat greasy and some items lack flavor. The beans and rice both seem to need salt. The enchiladas were sitting in grease and had to be moved to another plate at home. I gave this a 5 star because the food is always consistent, fast service and very, very inexpensive. Sometimes there's a language barrier as I only know 1 language and the staff is bilingual. My favorite combination platter is the Chicken Chimichanga! The meal is massive with great fresh Pico and lettuce, side of rice and beans and over stuffed burrito (it is NOT deep-fried). I can only eat about a third of it. So this rating is based on amount of food for the price, consistent meals and fast service for a meal that is cooked fresh for an individual order. There are things I could nitpick, but that's not necessary, as it is obvious this not a gourmet, fine dining restaurant. read more
