You'll love the Mediterranean ambience of this restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is packed with delicious food so you may have to sample several entrees. We chose the Lamb shank, Gyro platter, and Lama Shrimp appetizer and everything was perfect! The waiter, Alejandro was very attentive and made sure that our order was satisfactory. We drank Lemonade which had a taste of something that I can't place, but it added flavor that we loved! Boxing up to go was a breeze and our waiter packed it all up for us. For dessert we had cheesecake and I'm telling you right now...that cheesecake was Devine!!! Best we've ever had! The tea is complimentary and sets the meal in place. We will add this to our "regulars" list of great restaurants and yes, we will dine there many more times! And oh, they have a live belly dancer too. Top tier, sexy restaurant!

Mediterranean in Woodlands. Service and atmosphere: Tentative and very friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and organised. There were many seating options. They offer patio outside as well. Food and drinks: Menu offered plenty options to choose from. We opted for family meat and starters selection. The plate included two types of humuses, tzatziki and fresh and crispy salad. The main dish consisted oh white rice, chicken, beef, and kebab meats. Everything tested good. Pricing: $$ - the family dish for two was $70.

The food was delicious and the service was even better and the decor made it feel like I was having the real Mediterranean experience. Our waiter Jordan was very patient and made it easy for my friends who were first timers. I will definitely be back.

Love the carpet, brightens up the room.

It's kind of a pretty place, somewhat eclectic. I like the colorful rugs they have down on the floors, as it really does brighten up the place. A nice man was eating with his young daughter behind us and he turned around and said, "You have to try the tea!" And you know, he was absolutely right. I'm not sure what all is in that blend but it was really enjoyable, something I'd order next time. For our entrées we ordered Moussaka and then a platter which combined Gyro meat with both a beef and a chicken Shawarma. We love garlic and so we asked for extra garlic sauce. Plenty for next day lunch leftovers! :-) Dessert was Tiramisu and Cheesecake, liked the Tiramisu the best of those two. Overall, glad to have found another Persian Mediterranean restaurant, their kitchen did a great job. I think you'll quite like it.

MMM MMM MMM DELISH. i was never a big fan of mediterranean cuisine BUT I THINK ITS BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER AS GOOD AS THIS ONE. Im converted. tldr: Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The hummus, for starters, was amazing, especially when paired with the warm fluffy pita. Lamb had such a complex flavor profile but still allowed the lamb to shine. Was super tender and you can tell it was fresh. The sides were also really good. The yogurt sauce (tzatziki) was superb. It had the right amount of sourness as I expected. There are places where it isn't sour enough but this place's sauce was spot on.

We just moved to Houston a month ago and this has been the best restaurant we have been to! My husband and I had the Persian dinner for 2 and it was so much food, we had lunch for the next day. Top quality fresh ingredients and juicy tender meat. We will be back soon.

Bottoms up! Great drinks and smooth hookah

Was in the Woodlands on New Year's Eve and this place came up for hookah! Not many places out here at all that have it so I was excited! They have a cute patio with all of the greenery and scenery. They have happy hour. Two drinks, hookah and bottled water was $41 including gratuity. I had a couple of drinks that were STRONG. This is a family owned business so you'll meet the family. The bartender today was the daughter in law and she was attentive to me while I was on the patio with one other person and they had a pretty full house. Great hookah as well; smooth and reasonably priced. I didn't try any of the food.

Stopped here a few Sunday's ago for lunch. They weren't very busy so we were seated immediately. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. The decor inside is very overwhelming, they have a lot going on. The food however, is absolutely delicious. The chicken shawarma wrap I had was so fresh and flavorful, paired with the Greek salad it was stellar. We also had a dip and these other beef filled grape leaves, I'm not sure what they were called but both dishes were very good. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely be back!

The good is amazing, full of flavor, very tender and fresh. The food is not the only great thing about this place. The owner Ali, sets the definition of service and then goes above and beyond that! I am from MD and staying at the Embassy for a week for work and had just checked in. Tired from flying and came on yelp to order something for dinner. Did not realize that the hotel didn't have a shuttle after ordering and I called the restaurant to cancel the order as it would be too far of a walk from the hotel. The owner took the matter in his own hands and came and delivered the food himself!

I had heard great things about the cafe at this new location, and had even tried their former location on Hillcroft a couple years ago as part of TooGoodToGo. While the concept is casual, the restaurant itself is very polished and feels like an upscale cafe. There is plenty of seating indoors as well as a huge patio outdoors. We opted to sit on the patio on a (rare) nice Houston day. The tables were spacious and the patio seating was very comfortable. We ordered the Kofta Kabob and Chicken Kabob specialty platters. These platters come with your choice of two sides - we went for the Fried Cauliflower, Tabouli Salad, Hummus, and Muhammara. The meats were so good and hit the spot. The Kofta Kabob had a complexity of flavor to it; so many spices that blended together really well. I will say that the post-meal burps of these spices were...smellier than usual. The Chicken Kabob was also flavorful and had a nice smokiness to it from the grill. I liked the slight crunch provided by the char along the edges. If I knew how to make chicken like this, it would be my daily meal prep! The Fried Cauliflower had a nice sear to it with lots of flavor. The Tabouli Salad and Hummus were comparable to those I've had at other Mediterranean places. The Muhammara was my favorite of the sides! It is a dip like hummus but also incorporates tomatoes, red bell peppers, and onions, among other spices; there was so much flavor to it and I could snack on this all day. The included pita bread was large, fluffy, and piping hot - perfect for dipping between the two side dips we got. Service was quick and friendly. The employee taking our order behind the counter was friendly and gave us the recommendation for the Muhammara - great rec. When our food was brought out and we had questions on some of the ingredients, the staff was very knowledgeable and knew right away what everything was.

What a delightful surprise on our first visit to Abdallah's after having so many bland,…read moredisappointing meals at some other Middle Eastern places in the Heights area. The food is flavorful and seems more authentic as it's family owned and staff is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We went on Saturday, got two Combo Dinners as you choose two mains and two sides. My husband got chicken and beef kafta with sides of hummus and fried cauliflower and I had beef kabob and beef kafta with sides of baba ganoush and greek salad. Upon delivery to our table (you order at counter) I was pleased to see the generous portion sizes then as we dug in, the flavors were yum! Even though there with many people there, there was plenty of seating and a nice sized patio we should have sat and enjoyed the cool breeze as it's on the East side of the restaurant. I don't think beer/wine or available so it's probably BYOB, didn't ask. The sweets looked really good. Abddallah's will certainly be one of our regular dining spots from now on. We should have tried it sooner!
