A little high priced for a buffet at $21.99 ea but then again this is located right outside the woodlands mall. You might call and ask for prices and maybe during week it is cheaper??? Maybe this was the weekend price? but you can also order steak and or their proteins and they will grille to order fresh. Plenty of choices and gluten free if that is your thing. This is the fourth dimassis I've been to around houston. I usually go for the gyros. This is the only dimassis that I know of where the gyros are sliced and heated to order. It's easy to miss since it's not part of the self serve buffet. I'd rather have it part of the buffet. read more

Ate here after driving in from New Orleans and it was definitely worth the money. Everything tasted so fresh! I loved the okra and the falafels! And yes the pita bread was fresh baked! Definitely good To note though that the lamb shank is ONLY during dinner hours.. we thought it was part of the buffet all day according to TikTok... The guys at the buffet were helpful, but I do wish there was someone there when you walk in so that we could be told what to do and expect. We kind of just walked in and helped our self. Food was delicious, especially for a buffet, with a LOT of variety. Multiple types of hummus, multiple types of Mediterranean salads and vegetables and side dishes, and LOTS of meat options! Chicken, steak, meatballs, kebabs, all delicious! The buffet was well- stocked, with lots of fresh food added while we were there. The restaurant was not too loud- we could talk across the table and be heard clearly. The main reason for us eating there was- our family has food allergies, and not many places offer options. What a great location. Dimassi's makes me happy in general. The Woodlands drive does not. However, this is a Dimassi's worth visiting. We came hungry, sweaty, and frustrated after helping a lovely couple move to their new abode. We needed lots of sustenance and water/tea/soda. I had to run to the restroom...it was clean. Yay! Even though we were sweaty Buffalo, the staff treated us well. Their food was fresh, the buffet sanitary, and the taste...it was amazing. I don't know how much lifting furniture makes things taste better, but I was ravenous. The freshness was so evident that I wanted to eat like Miss Piggy. Great food, great taste, pretty location. This is an awesome Dimassi's and it's in the freaking Woodlandss, which is the only real negative. read more

Our class of '78 had an impromptu reunion due to one of our former classmates would be in town for a wedding, coming from NYC! A couple drove in from Austin, and several of us from all over the city, with none residing in the Woodlands, actually. We chose this restaurant and was not disappointed- the owner/cashier was very welcoming, the restaurant was very clean and spacious, food was great with lots of selections. I specially liked the fried fish and it was much tastier than other Dimassis locations ! All the salads tasted fresh and looked appetizing, and hot foods were nice and hot! My daughter and I ventured there on a Tuesday night, traffic was bad and I thought it would be a good way to let the traffic go down. We had wanted to go there for a while, so what the heck. First impressions, typical buffet, fillers first, proteins after from what we knew. We questioned each other as it said lamb shanks and gyro was available and it was not accessible on the buffet itself. So after the first round I had asked some staff about it, and they said you needed to ask the staff behind the counter (there was none ironically enough). We eventually did get the gyro and shanks. I will say I love lamb of all sorts, this did not measure up. Fortunately, you are only allowed 1 shank per person for the evening. The gyro was decent, but way too thick of slices. It felt like biting into a meatball. The salads and sides were severely lacking in flavor or off flavored. The desserts were dry as they are left out open air. I will say when we got there, it was 6 pm, only one other table was filled and the food was stacked. I cannot say how long it was there before our arrival, but the place started to get people arriving around 7, and that is when I started seeing some trays on the hot table being swapped out. It is an all you can eat buffet, so timing is important and expectations should not be too high as it is a balance of one fulfilling a need to consume mass quantities and one making a living. Would I go again, maybe not to this one as many reviews say the other locations are better. Same recipes, different hands I imagine. I will try a different location, but not too soon. Food was meh...Mediocre food at best. Almost no salt or seasoning. While the menu is varied, there is very little flavor on the items. Cook and servers don't seem to understand or follow Mediterranean Culture and flavors. Won't be coming back unfortunately. Had high expectations for this place. We went on a recent trip to Dimassi's to fulfill our Mediterranean cravings. Since the venue is a buffet style of serving, it can always be a gamble depending upon the time of the day. This visit was around lunchtime and the restaurant was fairly busy. The line was long at the buffet, but it was worth the wait. The workers were replenishing the food trays constantly, as there was a restaurant full of hungry patrons. I pretty much got my standard items that I get every time: from the likes of salad, tabouli, hummus, baba ghanouj, Mediterranean potatoes, chicken cubes, kebabs, gyro meat and grape leaves. There are numerous other items on the menu, so choose whatever u desire. There are also fresh pita breads at the end of the buffet line to dip into your hummus or make your own gyros. ***But I believe that the best meat item is the lamb!! The secret to getting the lamb is that you ask the staff behind the buffet counter for the lamb and they will cook it and serve it on a plate with a fresh cucumber sauce when it's ready. The standard procedure is that once it is ready they will ring a bell and you come back to retrieve it. It's not out on the standard buffet line/you have to ask for it. I guarantee you this is the most delicious gyro style lamb that I have found so far in this area! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They make sure that fresh food is continually available and also make sure that the tables are cleaned quickly and efficiently. I've been to a few of the Dimassis location, and this one was just as great as the others! The staff working is so friendly and kind, and the restaurant itself is massive with plenty of seating. The Mediterranean food they are serving is actually incredible. I'll admit when I first heard that it was a Mediterranean buffet, I was a bit skeptical. However, Dimassis has truly become my favorite Mediterranean restaurant! They have about a dozen salad options, with plenty of fresh veggies. They also have many different protein options as well. Just note that if you want the gyro you just need to order upon request! It comes out delicious and crispy, and you don't want to go without getting this with your meal. They also have coffee and dessert, which is a great way to finish off your meal. Surprisingly for all this good food, on weekends the buffet is $16. Called to ask questions about buying to go instead of buffet and because the Mexican cashier didn't understand what I was asking her just hung up. Called back and when he answered asked why did he hang up, then he just said Okay and... Then he hung up again. Called back and he forward the call to voicemail instead of answering or asking me further questions to assist or having someone else help me. Can't inside the store and had one of the coins come up to the front to witness me calling the cashier him looking at the caller ID then forwarding the call again to prove there was no error he is purposely being ugly. Then called the manager to report the guy and both the owners wouldn't listen and made seem like it was a mistake rather than saying they would talk to the cashier and make sure he works on his customer service or if didn't understand get someone else to help or explain to the customer to come in person.
