Use Lambourne Travel to go to London for a week. We were non stop for the whole week and was definitely my Wife's favorite vacation we have ever taken. Went to China for 2 weeks and loved it. Couldn't have been a better time. I was a Celebrity their. People kept wanting to take a picture with me. Lol. We went to Rome for a week and could have had a better guide, but everything was beautiful. I'm not religious at all, but the Vatican is something everyone should see. I have been on several trips with Lambourne Travel Service. Their staff is always knowledgeable and inciteful. Pam and Larry go above and beyond to make the trips enjoyable. There can be exciting surprises along the way. You never know. My dear friend had booked an excursion for us to Stonehenge. It was for the Summer Solstice. She mentioned it to Dallas and told him we would be able to get inside and touch the stones. He assured us of his expertise in Stonehenge, and we would never be able to touch the stones. We would have to view them from behind the fence. I'll have to remember to take some photos of us, along with about 2.000 others in, so he can see us touching the stones. read more

We used Dallas , for a London trip. The trip was good.at times things could have been planned better. Dallas got into a argument with a fellow traveler , that wasn't called for. I tried to keep my distance from him . Think it was his last London trip Sooo , I will give him a break. read more

So sad that Dallas and Lambourne completely failed everyone on the 2020 cancelled trip to London due to Covid. Friends I know got travel credits for future trips or trips rebooked with other agencies. We got two letters from Lambourne and not one penny refund or credit except for telling us a chance of getting flight change, but up to us to follow through. Even travel insurance didn't help. Will not rebook any trips with them. read more

Lambourne's exceptional reputation of handling escorted tours did not dissappoint. I participated in the February 2016 Holy Land Tour with Larry Schallock. Everything was prepared, organized and included in this trip of a lifetime! The group was a comfortable size, and were escorted like kings and queens. Even portage services and fees were covered between coach and hotel and hotel and coach. The buffet breakfasts and dinners in the hotels included in the fee were delicious and varied. Our on-ground tour guide, Ze'ev was fabulous! He knows current and historical facts of this special land, politics and both the old and new testaments as references as we visited many amazing sites. He is patient and clear and became a friend to all of us. I understand that Larry plans his Holy Land tours only when Ze'ev is available. Seeing ancient sites and learning about the culture and history was so educational. This is the way to travel for a reasonable fee. I I just returned from a trip to macchu pichu and Lake Titicaca with Lambourne and Larry. It was awesome. Lots of traveling and early mornings but so worth it to see all the Inca ruins and beautiful Sacred Valley. I would do it again. Thanks Larry!! read more

If it was possible to score this travel agency with zero stars, that's what they would have got. Contacted this travel agency to come speak to our group about specific times of the year to visit a destination abroad, suggestions on the best sites to see and tours to book, etc. The man told me "We're a business and we don't do things like that. We sell travel." I explained to him that we are potential customers looking for more information about booking travel, but we will look elsewhere. Incredible! read more

Our fully paid 1 week vacation to London, was a complete failure. So many promises. We purchased travel insurance. We were requested to cancel because of Covid. Not a penny has been refunded, communication with Dallas and the office has been denied. It was a cash trip, no credit card allowed, where I may have had recourse . Why anyone would use this service I'll never know. Years ago, perhaps a decade, I was able to book, but from my own directions and research. The last time, the man seemed completely disinterested in any service effort, explaining why what I was planning wasn't the direction I should go, and began a politically viewed pointless directive before I left forever. If I could give zero stars, I would. Amazing this place is still on the blocks. Should be the chopping blocks. The first time I went there, years ago, they did okay, but even then, I saw signs. The second time I attempted using them, the person sitting there didn't even start looking for ways to get where I wanted, seemed to think they wouldn't have anything for me, and insulted any views. Called Lambourne Travel Agency today to ask for some suggestions on booking an anniversary trip to Costa Rica. A woman named Maria answered & I told her that i would like to speak to someone familiar with CR & she said anyone there could help me. So far so good. She asked a couple of basic questions, how many traveling, the date. Then she asked what city.....well I said that was why I was calling them, to get some suggestions from someone who was familiar with CR. She said she needed to know what city, & I told her I really had no idea. She continued to tell me she needed a city name & I said that is why I was calling them for some help. She asked a couple more times then said again, 'how many traveling?' I told her again how many & she put me on hold. I didn't know if she was going to get some one and she left me feeling so uncomfortable and so poorly treated I decided to take my business else where. Isn't a travel agency SUPPOSED to help you find a location for a trip. Was very disappointed with her customer service. I won't use their service for future adventures. read more

I have been a customer of Lambourne Travel for over 15 years. I have found them to be most helpful in all of our dealings with them. Maria is our travel agent. She has booked at least 6 cruises for us. She also took care of our travel to New York, Washington DC, Hawaii (anniversary) and Barcelona. She was knowledgeable in all facets of our travel. She never forgets even the smallest of details and does a great job going over all of our travel documents with us. She does her very best to get us flights that meet our requirements for travel and never hesitates to call back if she has a question. I called for info regarding a trip to New York. They basically said no hotels book in advance and that I can buy my own place tickets closer to the date. So what does this place do?!?
