Warning: Awful, heartbreaking experience. I was treated so poorly and Absolute disgusting, unprofessional service and unsanitary. The worse nail shop ever. .Only 2 people work here. It shares half its space with a hair salon. The owner for the nail shop John is disrespectful and treated me like trash. I entered the nail shop on 7/3/21 at around 2:10PM for a gel pedi and refill. Instead, I received awful service and complete hate crime treatment. As I'm sitting waiting to be assisted, John has his friend who doesn't work there begin soaking my nails while John is juggling 3 people to include people who came after me. While sitting for a pedicure, nails still soaking, I received several discriminating rude comments from John. Towards the end of my pedi, I asked if he could file my nail as he had filed it slanted. Mind you, I had not said anything the entire time. He tells me to be quiet, he knows his job and don't ask him any questions. He then proceeds to tell me to "shut my mouth and don't ask him nothing, just sit and shut it, he has done this a long time, no one tell him nothing". It's like an evil spirit was among his soul and he treated me so bad. In disbelief, I say excuse me, how dare you speak to me in that manner. Please put my gel on, file off my nail so I can leave, I will never come here again. "He says good, I don't need your little money". He slaps the gel on very sloppy , no foot massage, crooked filing and tells me to pay and leave. He was the nastiest person ever. My nails still being wrapped with acetone and clumpy acrylic, I asked him to file off the clumps of acrylic. He refused, I'm in sheer tears, everyone witnessing this awful treatment as he is now in a rush to get to his next client Cindy who is having both her hair and nails done. He then goes outside, calls the police, tells them a black Woman doesn't want to pay, that I ran him over with my car, I hit him and tried to leave without paying. This was complete falsification. I was sitting in the nail shop the entire time. He completely made a horrendous hate crime lie against me as I had not problem paying.. Meanwhile, I'm standing in the nail shop the entire time in complete tears while he's outside being dishonest . 3 Police arrive, I'm in the shop in complete tears and explain to them how mistreated I was and that he did not finish his job. The police did not care and ask me to pay $50 for the pedicure that was incomplete and acetone nails sitting on my hands with foils. I asked the police if they are going to question him for false accusations which I had several witnesses sharing siding with me. and they told me to file a civil matter and that they had other things to do. This was Officer Madeira badge number 341, Officer C Castillo badge 323 ( whom was extremely rude) & St. Officer Handcock whom was pleasant- All with the North Miami Beach police department. I will be filing a complaint against this monster John and filing in civil court for return of my funds and to also pay for my eye lashes as I had just come from getting them done on which several came off due to my full of tears and for humiliation. I pray this shop is closed down and he never gets to serve people again due to his hateful heart. No one should ever be treated this way. This world has so much pain and we should be kind to one another. I was discriminated against and lied on and I will not stand for it. I wish him all the best and may he reap what he sowed. Do not go to this shop. I went somewhere to have my nails serviced a feet polish and filing fixed. Awful Experience! read more

Yup. Yelpies & the reviews were right. This place is L E G I T. I approve! and I know my ish. I search high & low for GOOD, high standard quality nail work. My girlfriend was a nail technician and I quickly learned how crappy toned down work really looks like. Learned the differences of what quick work looks like versus decent work. A true technician makes a real difference. John did my gel powder nail, I wanted a new nail shape and all. (I'm into the "almond" shape now for some reason) He did phenomenal work, took his time and made them better than ever. Nina did my nail design and she executed exactly what I wanted. Customer service here is terrible. I called ahead of time to make sure there was no wait for a pedicure (of course I was told there wasn't one). They put me in the chair with cold water and no one came back and said anything for a whole hour. When I said I was leaving, the man said "sorry we're a little backed up today". I came in here by accident when my usual place couldn't take me. They had just opened and the salon was quiet. Initially, all I wanted was a manicure but after seeing the pedicure chairs and their spa pedicure menu there was no way I was leaving without trying it. I'm happy with the choice I made. The salon was really clean and brand new !They use OPI, Essie, and all great hand creams. The staff was really nice. They made sure every nail was perfect and I even got a free design on my nails :) ! The nail Polish was all brand new unlike other places that have watered down polish. I got an A+ manicure for a very good price ($13). My pedicure was really enjoyable and the massage was delicious. I waited a week to write the review based on how long the manicure lasted. My mani lasted literally 5 days with very minor chipping, and I didn't even get gels! Best nail salon in Aventura by far. Trust me, I have tried them all. I went today and sadly was HIGHLY disappointed. The work was decent, HOWEVER for a refill and pedicure it came out to be $54. I was told to drill off gel nail polish it was an additional $7. So a refill with regular polish was $27. Thats insane and frankly not worth it. I like their quality of work SOMETIMES. But will not return to this place. FYI- I have been going here off and on for a while (more so off) and in the past speaking to the owner, He asked me a few times to send him clients. He said that because it was expensive to be in North Miami beach. So it seems like since he does not have the amount of customers he had to compensate with raising his prices. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. John, the owner is the one who I dealt with...initially. As soon as I sat in his chair, I told him I wanted my cuticles taken care of and my gel overlay thin. He was on his phone for the first part of my service. I asked him to cut my cuticles and he said later. Later he pulled out his machine and I told him not with that with a cuticle cutter. He proceeded to do things his way. He said it was too late - next time. I asked him to stop because I wasn't pleased with the results (at this point he painted one coat of polish on) long story short, my nails looked horrendous. Where do I begin?! My friend and I decided to get pedicures today and so we came to nail masters. We were greeted at the door and told to choose a color (typical). I was able to sit in the chair with the woman who I did not get the name of but she did a horrible job. Emphasis on horrible. She was very sloppy she barely took her time and when it came to painting the nails let's just say my little sister could do a better job. I was so dissatisfied with the service after my nails were supposedly dry she tried to fix my shoe strap and ended up messing up the paint job even more!! At that point I was completely over it. My friend was being assisted by a woman named Janet and she was amazing! She did a great job and she even took her time to help me salvage this pedicure. She got the tip and sad to say I probably won't be back there but just in case I am going to recommend Janet! read more

I checked this place out because of the reviews on yelp and the pics on Facebook and being totally honest they didn't disappoint! I had the milk and honey pedicure and it was literally the most relaxing pedicure I have had in ages. The stress and tension just melted away. Got a shellac gel manicure...looks great. Technique was slightly different from what I've had done at other places but I guess time will tell how well they did. Longest shellac has stayed on my nails has been 4 weeks. We'll see how long this one lasts. Since the place is relatively new, all the equipment looks new and the chairs are comfortable and the massage function works well. The place is VERY clean. Drawbacks - I had an appt scheduled for 10 am and they showed up and opened at 10 am. Other than that the lamps that they use for the gel manicures can get very hot... Hotter than the other ones I've been exposed to before but it's not unbearable. So disappointed. If you want a real pedicure please stay away from here. I have come here before not as a regular but when in need of a quick Mani. It's around the corner from my job so it always comes in handy; unfortunately not after today. So I decide today I will get both here as I am pressed for time and tomorrow I have an event. I am getting a pedi and when it comes to the scrubbing of my feet the man literally (yes I use this word often I'm from Miami) he literally glazes over my feet w a foot stone. So I ask him to use the file in his basket so I can get a proper foot scrub and pedicure. I advise I would like him to scrub my feet. First he simply tells me no. Then after much insisting he advises this is not included in the $25 pedicure I am paying for bc I am only paying for 25 minutes and if I want him to "scrub" my feet I will have to pay extra! WOW. After a long week at work, I had the spontaneous thought of going to get a mani-pedi. I looked on yelp to see which salon was closest to me and what had the best reviews and I found Nail Masters. I got to Nail Masters around 11am without an appointment. The salon was empty so I was happy they could take me as a walk in. My biggest disappointment in this place was the nail polish selection. They did not have any of the newest Essie or O.P.I. products, and they also carried two or three bottles of the same color. I just chose any color and got on my with mani-pedi. I have been looking for a nail place in Miami for a while now. I have tried jivana nails, which I feel they are rushing all the time. CT nails, my acrylics don't even last the 2 full weeks and I have an office job! I decided to go on yelp and came upon Nail Masters. I saw that the reviews were good so I decided to try. I'm so happy I did! I had the milk and honey pedicure with a full set done and omg IM IN LOVE!! Although I showed up last minute they took their time and went above and beyond! Kelly, you are AMAZING!! She did my pedicure and usually I have to tell them how I like it done at other places, here I didn't even have to tell Kelly anything! She did a fantastic job! Took her time was very detailed! & the foot massage! I felt like I was on vacation !! John, did my acrylics! Super nice and very detailed as well! I showed him a picture of the design I wanted and he only looked at it once & it came out PERFECT!! All of the staff from Kelly, Tommy, Serena, Nina, to Tiffany and John !
