My family and I recently moved into a new home and wanted to start fresh. We intentionally chose a large, well-known furniture company because we thought it would be more reliable. We planned on furnishing most of our 3-bedroom home through Raymour & Flanigan, starting with a sectional we absolutely loved in the showroom. Before going back to purchase it, we called the store because the website showed it was out of stock and unavailable for viewing. The employee assured us it was still in the showroom and available, so we rushed over excited to buy it. We financed the sectional that same day. We even offered to take the floor model because we needed furniture quickly and have children in the home. We were told floor models were NOT sold. Fine. We arranged pickup for the following week, took time off work, rented a U-Haul, and prepared everything. Then, while literally pulling out of our driveway to pick it up, the salesman called and said: "Don't bother coming, we don't have the couch anymore." Apparently the same floor model we were told could not be sold had suddenly been sold to someone else. At this point: Our credit had already been run Financing was approved Money was tied up We rented a truck We took time off work We still had no couch for our family Strike one. To make up for it, they offered free delivery and setup the following week. Delivery day comes. Nobody shows up during the scheduled window. We call, and suddenly we're told they already came and nobody was home. We were home all day. Then they claimed they went to the wrong address -- except they read our correct address back to us. Strike two. The next day we were promised we'd be the FIRST delivery at 10 AM. 10 AM comes: "They're running behind." Then: "They packed your sectional in first, so it's last to come out." Then: "They had to go back to the warehouse." Then: "There's only one driver." Then: "We don't know when they'll arrive." We repeatedly explained we had work obligations and children sleeping in the home. We were repeatedly assured "they'll definitely be there tonight." My husband sat outside until 2 AM waiting so the babies wouldn't be woken up if they arrived late. They never came. At this point we escalated things to corporate because every single person we spoke to gave different stories and empty promises. Eventually a higher-up apologized, offered discounts, free delivery/setup, and rescheduled us AGAIN for another week later. Now today -- once again -- we were told delivery would be AFTER 4 PM. We specifically asked because we needed groceries and work around their timeframe. They reassured us multiple times they would call when they were on the way. At 1:30 PM, while we were just down the street, they called claiming they had already come to our house and we "missed the delivery." Except: We never saw the truck Our cameras show nobody ever came Nobody left a note They contradicted the timeframe THEY gave us Then we were told: "They'll come back later." Hours later, still nothing. This has gone on for WEEKS. The amount of dishonesty, miscommunication, wasted time, missed work, false promises, and complete lack of accountability is unbelievable. We were lied to about: Stock availability Delivery times Attempted deliveries Floor model policies At this point I'm documenting everything and escalating this situation further. Families spend thousands of dollars expecting professionalism from a company this large. This experience has been the exact opposite.

We went during the memorial day sale-- they had extended it an additional week. WOW-- great sales! We found a set we really loved and had a great experience with another sales person-- Jose Molina. He was PHENOMENAL. He had come from the warehouse and he knew SO MUCH about each piece. We asked him a lot of questions and he answered every one of them! We found a set we had loved but told him we needed to check other places first. He gave us our card and we were on our way. We went to every other place-- Ikea, Diamond, the Dump, and Raymour... none had as good sales or service. We went back the next day ready to purchase the set we fell in love with. When we were waiting for Jose to run the numbers-- I accidentally stumbled upon another set that was hidden.. and was even cheaper and included EVERYTHING. We paid $1300 for a king bed set, two nightstands, two dressers, and a mirror..... free delivery and 60 month financing. I'm SO happy with my experience here and Jose was seriously the nicest kid I had ever met!

    I know it isn't the best quality furniture but when you spend about $1400. On 6 dining chairs, you…read morewould think it would last more than 2 years and if you buy a 5 year warranty then you are at least safe for 5 years...Right? Absolutely NOT with these companies! In 2023 a leg broke and my extended 5 yr warranty covered a replacement. Replacements came in pairs. A few months later another leg broke & luckily I had the extra leg from the pair they sent. 2 years later another chair leg broke and now long story short, Ashley sold my 5 yr warranty contract to Value City and they said the chair was discontinued likely due to so many issues. They can't get replacement parts. Furthermore they said in the fine print of my warranty, it says if the product is discontinued then it voids the warranty and they won't do anything for me. So now I have no way of replacing this chair to match so I have to get a completely different chair or buy a whole new set. They wouldn't even offer store credit for a chair. I had no idea the core of the chair legs is cheap plastic.
