When contacting the Blinds Factory I'm told that while I do have the warranty I was promised, suddenly it's not in-home anymore. Now I have to uninstall and bring these giant shades (windows are more than 10 feet tall) to them. This is outrageous since I have in writing that the warranty is in home. I argue - finally they agree to come take a look. Guy comes, agrees they are broken, no fault of mine. Tells me they need to order a part. Then nothing. They won't return my calls. Hang up on my when I call. Avoid the Blind Factory at all costs! Use anyone else. You'll thank me later!

We had to cross over this strange little rickety bridge looking thing which isn't even really paved. Thank goodness my husband was in the car with me because it looked very sketch and I definitely would have thought I was in the wrong spot and turned around if I was by myself. He told me to keep going...and I did...and we arrived at Orlandini. The hilarious thing is they actually have a sign saying something to the effect of yes, this is really it! I cracked up when I saw it. The parking lot is humongous. it looks like a warehouse from the outside. It isn't particularly branded. I am just giving you the most detailed account I can so you know what to expect when you approach it because I was not expecting it at all. It's not unsafe or anything, it just wasn't what I anticipated and it threw me off. There is a normal glass door that we walked through to enter. Upon entering we were surrounded by tile. There are a few different sections; a front, a middle and a back. Someone said hello to us and let us know someone would be with us in a moment. We started perusing on our own. We didn't notice any particular organization method to how the tile was arranged in the store. Without any guidance we really didn't know what we were getting into outside of just seeing what we liked. We had four separate choices in our hands before someone was able to help us. We asked some questions and got some answers. He looked at the tile in my hands and immediately told me that we had some of the more expensive tile picked out (of course). I was already pretty attached to my top choices by that point so we asked for prices. We gave him the measurements our contractor took and he told us to give him a minute and then he gave us price points for each tile. What I really appreciated was that we could take the tile with us so we could see it in our home with our lighting and our paint, etc. That was huge! They took our information to ensure that the tile would be returned. If we didn't return it, we would have been charged for it. They told us to have it back in approximately 3-4 days. We wanted to keep one of them longer so we returned the other three and he told us it wasn't a problem to keep the 4th a bit longer. He also gave us a collection of grout samples to choose from. I know nothing about tile so that was unexpected for me. lol When we walked around Home Depot with the winning sample we got lots of compliments on it! One couple asked if we got it at HD. We told them no and referred them to Orlandini and they put it in their phone to head over. They have a much more expansive selection to choose from at Orlandini. Home Depot and Lowe's all have pretty basic stuff to choose from and not much of a selection. If you are looking to go out of the box I would highly recommend Orlandini. When it was time to order our (original) contractor called and gave all of the specs to the employee and then handed the phone off to me. I gave my credit card info and we were good to go! He called the (original) contractor when the tile was in and he went to pick it up for us. We had the perfect amount. There was hardly any waste. We didn't like the "pencil" our (original) contractor ordered (without us seeing it) and they let us return it which we appreciated. We couldn't return the one slab of tile we had leftover because it was a special order. It was on the pricey side but that was my own fault for having expensive taste. I do think it would be a good idea to have the tile arranged by price level so when you are walking around by yourself you have an idea of what you're getting in to. I guess they wouldn't luck out with people like me, then. lol. It would also probably be pretty difficult to keep track of that system with people taking tile in and out on a regular basis. The tile came in pretty quickly, was great quality and looks amazing in our kitchen! We are super happy with the finished product. My husband said it looks even better than he anticipated. Their hours aren't the most convenient for people that are working. They stated their hours are different because of covid. Fortunately I am working from home and my boss let me leave a little early so I was able to get there before they closed. But you will need to plan to get there before 4:00 because that's when they close. Covid protocol: masks are required. Since they aren't a big box store they weren't crowded (at least whenever we were there they weren't) which makes it easy to social distance from other customers. There were only a couple of people in there when we were and they weren't close to us. No temperature checks and I don't recall seeing hand sanitizer but that doesn't mean it wasn't there somewhere and that I just didn't notice. I recommend Orlandini for all of your tile needs. Shop small!

When we had pictures and a clear vision for what we wanted, the staff was able to quickly show us some options and make picking that project quick and easy. For the kids project, they were able to interact with us as well as our kids and figure out what they liked. The staff took time to ask questions and interact with the kids so that they could understand what they wanted. When that was done, they actually gave us some less expensive options to look at since the kids picked some of the most expensive accent tile in the showroom. Please try this supplier. The chandelier needed to be swagged and the amount of chain that came with it was insufficient. Stephen cut several more feet of chain for us and included it in the purchase. The store on Gay Street is not large, but there was a good selection of chandeliers and we are very happy with our purchase.

A different sales person was there and i told him i wanted to return the shades since they did not work for me. The sales person told me they do not take returns after 7 days. I informed him that it was only six days, in addition I was never told that at the time of sale. He continued to say he could place a special order because he can't give a return. He grabbed the lamp shades without giving me a refund. I stopped him from taking them until I received my refund. He refused to give me a refund for at least 45 minutes! I even called my credit card company to find a way to cancel my purchase. The sales person was taking pictures of me while I was on the phone with the credit card company. The person on the phone could hear parts of the conversation and was concerned. I asked for his name. He refused to give it to me. I asked if he owned the store. He did not, so I asked for the name of the owner and how to contact her or him. Was told the owners name was Steve Yack and I could reach Steve by calling the store, but he was not there, or email him at chesterlighting503@gmail.com. As I was writing an email while in the store, the unnamed salesperson insisted he would give me a refund if I signed a blank piece of paper. I did not. Finally he processed the return. I also took pictures of the sales person after I saw him videoing me or taking pictures while I was on the phone with my credit card company. This was the most abysmal customer experience. A quick 5 minute exchange turned into an unnecessary 45 minute fiasco. I always try and support local small businesses however this business is one I strongly advise you avoid. I did send the email to the owner but did not yet receive a response. Very sad.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!…read more Troy was recommended to me by a cabinet company, so I made the trip to Newark to check it out. The $1499 special has very little to choose from, but I managed to find two pieces (read remnants) that would work for me. Template and install time quoted were very quick (should have been a red flag). Then they broke one of the pieces, so I had to go back and pick another. When it came time to install, the guys were very rude, and couldn't install one of the pieces because it needed to be cut and pieced in order to get it in the space. Told me they would be back tomorrow. Well, tomorrow is here, and no installers. They never notified the scheduler that they needed to come back, so I'm pushed back another day. Also, they made a mess in my bathroom, and didn't clean up after themselves. Also, the counter has sand marks in it, so it will now have to be polished where it was glued. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your needs, because this place is terrible. Salesperson won't call me back, manager won't call me back. Also, they charge you the credit card fees. Bad business in my opinion, and I've been self employed for almost 40 years.

Buying a refrigerator in pandemic times is something special, to say the least. With my list handy, I called CB Joe's as well as two others. CB Joe's had a model close to what I was looking for in stock (a rare find these days). They could also deliver before Thanksgiving (one of a kind). The gentleman on the phone was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and he didn't try to up-sell me. The price was good, and the service was great. The delivery team encountered some issues (truck got stuck and had to be towed), but they stayed in touch updating us throughout the day. They were fast (once they got here), friendly, and got the job done. If I need another appliance, I'm going to CB Joe's (or calling them , if we're still in a pandemic ;) ).
