Whenever I tried to clarify or ask about my concerns, the responses were condescending, and she mostly just reiterated what was already on a notice without actually addressing my questions. When I became frustrated because I wasn't being allowed to speak, the call was abruptly ended. Tiffany is the attorney acting on behalf of the property owner and identified herself as the point of contact regarding the notice served. As such, it is entirely appropriate and reasonable for a tenant to ask questions related to that notice and the underlying issues affecting their housing. At no point was I given the opportunity to fully explain my concerns. Instead, my attempts to ask clarifying questions were repeatedly dismissed, and I was spoken to in a condescending manner. This was especially troubling given that there are serious, ongoing issues with her client, and both the landlord and representatives have been avoiding direct communication. Professional legal representation should include clear communication, especially when housing, safety, and tenant rights are involved. The lack of basic courtesy and willingness to address legitimate questions reflects extremely poor customer service and only escalated an already stressful situation.
