In July of 2025 we wandered into Lancaster Flooring beginning to think about swapping out the carpet in our three bedrooms with laminate. Hratch was so knowledgeable, kind, funny, and professional. The carpet is less than 3 years old and losing color. The original color was grey and in several spots it is now pink. Called Lancaster flooring to help with the situation. They had a Shaw carpet rep. sent out to test the carpet. According to the result the pink areas are a loss of color and not a manufacturing defect so it isn't covered under warranty. For as expensive as the carpet was it should not be having color loss. Emailed Hratch on 5/17 and 5/22/2024 for further assistance. He did not reply. We spent over 15k on flooring for the whole house. Guess we are learning an expensive lesson and will research flooring companies better before purchasing next time. read more

I just want to give a huge thanks to Michael and his team at Lancaster flooring. they didn't absolutely beautiful job with my rental property by removing all the dirty and disgusting carpet and installing brand new carpet. Michael is such a nice guy and he has the best pricing in all of the antelope valley. Everything was exactly as planned. His team showed up on time and did the job as discussed. his team knows how to install carpet like true professionals. I can't find any seams anywhere in the house. They were also very careful around the kickboards because I had just had the entire house painted so my painter had very minimal touch-ups to do. All joints at the tiles were perfectly leveled. I had 2 places measure my home. Needed tile and wood. This place severely over priced the competition with ONLY the wood installation. The price was so high I didn't even bother asking them for a "quote" including the tile. They don't print you quotes here, the write a final number on the back of business card, they don't show you or explain how they are getting to that number... outdated practice. Hratch was a very nice guy. He and his team were very professional. When they came to give me a quote for my laminate flooring, he was honest and said that the sub-floor was a little uneven in spots so the adhesive might not stay put in the long run, and it would be better to get hardwood. However, I had a dog and hardwood would have been scratched up. I wouldn't get laminate again if I redid my floors, but I would use Lancaster Flooring again. I see a couple of comments saying that they were rude. I had a great experience. read more

What a great local company. My family has been going to Lancaster flooring for years and I have now had them install carpet at my home. They always are fair as far as price is concerned. The installation team and measuring crew provided great service and were on time. They installed all new pad and carpet without damaging any of my baseboards or paint. Please do not listen to these positive reviews. These are a bunch of incompetent amateurs. My first incounter with this unprofessional company was when they had me wait around for hours on a scheduled free estimate. My wife I decided to give them the benifit of the doubt, so we went to there low supplied warehouse and met up with the son and father. They gave us a deal on what they had, we set up a date for the project (2 days) I took time off from work, moved furniture around until midnight. What happened??? They nevered showed or called. When I called them the father and son team played dumb, made excuses why. Bad business!!! I demanded a refund immadiately. They are the worst people I have dealth with in the Antelope Valley by far. If the service is bad, what would the flooring be like??? Don't get screwed up with these unprofessionals. Stay away, you have been warned. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father. Someone recommended this business to him for carpet purchase and installation. He dealt over the phone & email with an employee by the name of Hratch Yacoubian. The measurements and pricing were done over the phone, and the emails consisted of picking a color, confirming the address and date of installment. They had agreed on a price over the phone, but upon arrival the installers told my dad they were instructed by Mr.Yacoubian to measure the rooms prior to starting the job, which is good practice in my opinion. The measurements the installers obtained, were the same measurements my dad had given Mr.Yacoubian. However, Mr.Yacoubian insisted that the measurements were bigger and that in order to install the carpet it would be an additional $150 and he would get scraps/patches in some areas to complete the job. My dad told Mr.Yacoubian that that's not what they had agreed on and the measurements the installers obtained, were the same ones that were provided over the phone. Pretty much Mr.Yacoubian made a mistake and instead of acknowledging it, he is blaming my dad. My dad tried to negotiate the $150 and Mr.Yacoubian told him it would be $150 additional and he would get scraps and something along the lines of you're not my friend/family for me to be giving you a discount. He hung up on my dad. My dad called back and Mr.Yacoubian told my father that he was wasting his time. That seems very unprofessional. A well respected person recommend this business and it is unfortunate to see the good reputation of this business misrepresented by Mr.Yacoubian. If a manager is willing to contact me, we are still interested in keeping your services, however we would like to deal with another person besides Mr. Yacoubian. I would like to note that the installers were very professional when they arrived and the rating on this review is solely based on our experience with Mr.Yacoubian. read more
