I was suffering with some severe problems in the bottom area, and he made this uncomfortable position and topic an easy thing to go through. I felt better the minute we spoke and when I left I felt like I could get through this with him as my physician with this issue. I felt relief and for the first time in a long time and I felt confident that someone cared. His manner is very easy going yet also very professional and I found him very knowledgeable not only to me but to others in the office as well. Prescribed drug with onerous side effects - and wasn't working, instead of switching upped dose 50% making patient very ill. Did not listen to patient or managing specialist on the case. Refused both phone calls and appointments. Switched to another infectious disease doc who said: "why are you still on this drug; it clearly isn't working?" as tests confirmed. She changed medication to one that is working and keeping condition under control. Combination of medical arrogance and apparent disregard for patients and their input (characteristic of too many Eisenhower senior specialists) leads to mistakes and potentially serious medical consequences.
