Said I could either come in if I made it in by 10, they would have it out by four. Or the other option was the Mobile service coming to my home.. I chose that. Justin. Former marine, so incredibly nice. You know the kind of guy that smiles incessantly while speaking? That's Justin.. I feel like he could take this car apart and put it back together piece by piece. worst service I've ever had. brought my truck in because the trans is shifting hard, injectors are clogged and both front wheels making a rattling noise. in return I got a $10k quote for basically every part on the truck that isn't covered under warranty and still have no idea what's wrong with the original issues I brought it in for. on top of all that, I opened my vehicle to door handles tore apart and had to argue with the technician because "he didn't touch the inside".... highly recommend going else where. these "technicians" are an absolute joke. as I'm typing this I can't go over 20mph and have so much smoke behind me I can't see the following vehicle and this is after having my vehicle sitting there for over a week without any fixes whatsoever. not even the tire rotation I asked for. read more

It was made very clear what the budget was, otherwise, we would look elsewhere. Salesperson said, No problem!! I have a recall relating to my transmission as well as a sensor that needs replaced. The sensor was ordered. Once the parts arrived, I scheduled the repairs. They've had my vehicle for two weeks, and it hasn't been touched. I was called last Wednesday and told my vehicle would be sent to the technician to begin repairs Thursday. Monday I reviewed a text saying it was still awaiting an available technician. When I called to ask why my vehicle had been sitting to two weeks and not looked at after making an appointment, I was told things had been that way for a while. So if you make an appointment, don't assume that has anything to do with when the work will actually be completed. Oh, and make sure you have alternative transportation. Your vehicle may be with them for a long time - a vehicle you're insuring and possibly still paying for. read more

Purchased 2 brand new vehicles from this dealer less than a year ago. My Durango would die while driving and not start. Multiple towings needed. Used the Google doctor and called the other guys in town because they are closer to home. Told me it was likely the fuel pump and the vehicles have had tons of issues. I was loyal - told them I'd take it to Landers since I dropped 120k on cars with them. They laughed and said I'd be back. Boy were they right. Took landers six weeks to schedule an appointment and then they said it the "couldn't replicate the problem" - it died in their lot and I had it towed to the other guys who told me they knew they would see me again. Fixed it and guess what - fuel pump. These guys are a joke - stay away and spend your money elsewhere. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Made an appointment 20 May and the next available appointment was 19 June. Longer than expected but no problem. All I needed done was a diagnostic due to the engine light coming on and a new cabin air filter. Received an appointment reminder on 18 June, which I confirmed. I dropped off our Durango not realizing what was going to happen...literally nothing. Week went by, nothing, except receiving a text it is taking longer than usual. Two weeks go by, I receive the same text. Three weeks go by and I still receive the same text. Finally decided to just get my car back. Went down there not in a good mood and requested my keys back due to nothing being done. They brought me my car and was literally told it has been sitting for the past three weeks with no one having looked at it. Talked to two managers inside the office who apologized and stated the reason was short staffing which I did. It but. Unacceptable in my opinion. Three weeks is way too long for a diagnostic check and a cabin air filter. What is the reason for making an appointment or accepting more customers if you're short staffed? Landers Dodge Service Department has always had horrible service but I have been using this location due to the other location being 30 mins away. From now on I'll drive the 30 mins, go out of state, or use another auto repair shop. I own a Dodge Ram Limited and a Dodge Durango and have been very happy with both vehicles due to their durability and dependability. We are actually shopping for a truck for our son and was leaning towards another Dodge. However, after this experience with Landers Dodge, we will not be buying from them due to horrible customer service. read more

My daughter was in from out of state and had a transmission problem with her 2017 Jeep Compass. According to the codes it could be low on transmission fluid. This cat does not have a dipstick and must be checked by the dealer. We stopped in and learned they could not check the fluid level (no repair, just check level) for three weeks, if we make an appointment. Service writer kept trying to quote a price for a transmission service as an obvious upsell. I decided we would, to be on the safe side, trade in the compass on a new vehicle for my daughter to take back to Indianapolis. Since this dealership obviously has enough customers to backlog things so bad they can't perform a simple fluid check we drove across town to Heberts Town and Country and bought a new renegade. I have bought 3 vehicles in the past from Landers and had plans to replace 2 more in the near future. Looks like Landers has lost a customer. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. The service department is the worst. Brought my car (which I purchased at this dealership) to be worked on because the check engine light was on. They told me what was wrong and I agreed to have them fix it. I was told the oxygen sensor was out, when I received my invoice it said that they replaced the thermostat and updated the computer. I questioned them about it, and they just tried to explain it off as something else. I ended up leaving frustrated because of the run around that I was getting. When I left the check engine light was not on. I didn't even get a mile down the road and it came back on. I called them once I got home and and told them about it. They thought I was going to bring my car back to them to pay more money to fix an issue that should have been fixed when I had first brought my car in. They called me back later and told me that I could bring it back and that they would fix it for no extra cost and that they would contact me with an appointment. This never happened. I purchased two vehicles from this dealership and sent friends and family to buy vehicles here. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone ever again! read more

Took my truck in for repairs on Tues also requested hail damage estimate. Got a call Monday with a quote for repairs declined coverage advised to move forward with hail damage quote. I had to call weds to get an update Jaqueline was out Tuesday (following week) so no one could provide an update. Called early weds spoke to Jaqueline and she was just as rude as ever. She stated You declined coverage so you can pick it up. I informed her about the hail damage repair she replied I don't have time to take it out there it will be the afternoon before I know if I can take it to the body shop. I said so I can pick it up and take it myself. She said if that is what you want to do. Very unprofessional makes me not want to take my business to them anymore. I stopped going before because of the people that were there they changed staff and it seems nothing really has changed. After picking up my truck on the way home my ABS light came on. Had a great experience with Landers after a very poor experience trying to by a car in Texas. After 4 hours of delay, I went to my #2 car choice at Landers and got salesman, DeAngelo. He was one of the best salesman, I ever worked with. Friendly, smart and aggressively worked to get me what I wanted. 30 minutes after speaking with him, I was on my way to get my ride. I bought a 2020 ram from this company. 4 hours into my trip home the check engine light comes on. My dealership at home made some repairs and check engine comes on again. Long story short... my service tech found diesel in the DEF pump. Not covered under warranty. I have had to call them 2-4 times per day trying to get answers. No one call back. They lie!! Vernon told me that they were waiting on my service manager to agree to do the repairs for the in house rate or ship it back to them to fix. NEVER HAPPENED. We purchased a vehicle with the promise that the dealership would repair a part that was broken. Upon fixing it, the dealership broke another part of our vehicle. Instead of stellar customer service and quickly fixing THEIR mistake, we received the opposite. We waited almost 5 months for an appt, and once we arrived, we were told we would have a 4 hour wait. They would not fix that. We brought a Walmart battery Brought vehicle home the very Next Day The engine light comes on it won't shift over 3rd gear - shakes the whole vehicle When it shifts 1st to 2nd and then 2nd to 3rd. I purchased a new truck in 2018 It has started recently leaking from behind the rear seat, when I bought it I also purchased the best warranty available for 9 years or 90,000 miles At first I thought it was the rear glass. They would not cover that. I took it to a glass service prepared to just pay for the leak. After 2 water tests they figured out it was coming from 2 cabin vents on either side behind rear seat. I called landers back they said they don't cover those either. Buyer beware. I also took it there once for an oil change. When I picked it up they had put 20 miles on it. Could not explain it. Here's the deal on our loyalty to the service family ending: 1) Labor rates are $125/hour 2) They have a new Service Manager that is all about the dollar and not about the service. Help us all; there has to be some balance here. I don't mind paying for anything but when you see your people have jacked up a few times then you need to address that. 3) How have they jacked up? I clearly made it known since Fall 2013 that anytime my parent vehicle comes into to the shop - please call me directly so I can pay. I don't care who talks to whom and explain problems - that's just decent and expected but yo! the note should be clearly marked as I have asked and was told that's the case. What I'm learning after the most recent visit this week.... one super great cashier and former Advisor took time to make these things happen. I've walked away from this review and returned months later and feel even more disgusted now that my mother's A/C is fixed and it didn't involve the compressor one bit. I bought a used vehicle with Lander's. Everything was fine until it came time for the financial paperwork. I went in pre-approved with a financial backer but I let the dealership handle the paperwork so they would get a commission. It took almost two months for them to finish the paperwork. Then, they sent the incorrect payoff to payoff my trade-in. I tried to call the dealership several times, including the sales manager. Nobody would answer the calls nor would they return voicemails. When I was able to finally get them to realize their mistake, they printed a check. When I received the check, it was, once again, the wrong amount. I've tried calling again but once again they don't like answering calls. Now, I have to make another special trip just to get them to acknowledge and rectify their next mistake. Our experience after the sale was the worst ever encountered in over 50 yrs of making purchases. Don t buy used cars with this questionable dealership. Make sure you have all keys promised in your hand before leaving this place or they ll only give you 1 and insist tgey gave the 1st to you on your 1st visit. Be sure paperwork is signed on the day you ll be bringing the vehicle home with you because if they keep it to do make Ready and detailing you won t have time to back out of the contract. There are only 3 days to do that. They kept our truck for a week after signing so we couldn t back out when we realized how they change once the contact is secured. Nobody should have to deal with this crap at any dealership. Their customer service trolls don t listen to what you say. When there s a problem stemming from their end they blame the customer and repeat the lies the sales person and sales manager tell you. I really can't speak to the ownership of any of these brands of vehicles that are offered here at this dealership. I have never owned not a one of them. Not ever. I'm not even sure that I've ever even gotten behind the wheel of a Dodge or a Jeep vehicle? Not that I remember anyways. That's not to say that I wouldn't ever love to own one! Especially, those new Dodges. The Challenger. The Charger. Have you seen the Demon???? Sweeeeeeeet!!! And their trucks are pretty sharp too!! No. A car for me, has never been that big of a deal. I buy what I can afford. I pay it off. And I drive it till the wheels pretty much literally come off, or it explodes, also pretty much literally (thanks, Saturn!!!) So, sadly I can't sing the praises of this dealership, as to my over-the-moon-joy with my brand new 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon!! No, alas, I cannot. But what I can do, is pump this dealership up for what they do in the community and between the two cities of Shreveport and Bossier City. They title sponsor two HUGE events for this area, that I'm sure aren't easy nor are they cheap to present. Year in and year out, they have sponsored the Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding Tour as it arrives in Bossier City and the Centurylink Center annually, and they have also loyally sponsored the Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase at Independence Stadium in Shreveport every September. These events bring great entertainment to these parts, and they also bring people in from miles away, whom might not ever visit Shreveport-Bossier otherwise. And it is for their absolute dedication to sponsoring these two massive annual events without fail, that this dealership gets five stars, and really deserves more. Do not buy here. The sales/finance manager was incredibly disrespectful and clearly does not understand customer service. He continuously kept talking over me and telling me what car note I should feel comfortable with because "what's the big deal about paying $50 more a month". Come to find out he didn't even send the information to a lender to verify the monthly note on the vehicle. I went home and secured financing through a lender for a lesser APR and monthly note than he was speculating. After securing financing, we called that particular landers and asked if the vehicle was at that location. We were informed it was at the landers fiat in Shreveport. We called the Shreveport location to confirm. After driving to Shreveport, the manager there informed us the vehicle was at the landers bossier location the entire time in the service department. The only Jeep Wrangler available at the Shreveport location had over 60k miles on it. A total waste of time. We decided to never patronize Lander's. read more

Even if your vehicle breaks down across the street from Landers Dodge, do NOT let them work on it. They LEFT A PART OFF of my van that destroyed my engine. I had it confirmed by Brown Dodge (an actual good business) along with some other mechanics. The only people that claim that the part being left off of it wouldn't cause the damage, is of course, Landers. They also expect me to pay for the rental that they put me in for the over two weeks it took them to analyze my van, which didn't need to be analyzed because Brown had already done that on the day that they were actually supposed to do. Brown didn't wait until 2 weeks after the appointment that was set up with them. Doing business with Landers is a bad idea. Just don't do it. read more
