WTF, please stop putting your dealer logos on cars. It was flaking off by me rubbing it of with my finger. So I tried to polish the rest of the letters in black glue off by hand and this happen. The logo was burned into the base coat and clear. Now I will have to pay and spend more time to take it to a body shop to touch up paint and refinish this area. This is total crap ya'll should be sending me a check to get this fixed. Can't you just sell your cars with a dealer license plate frame like good old nomal dealers. I had a appt today at 8:00 AM to have my car looked at because of a check engine/ radiator grille code. When I arrived to the dealership this morning I was told I had to leave my car for two weeks because they are behind. So I asked about a loaner car and was told they could not loan any cars. I stopped in early on a Thursday morning in mid-March 2024 to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I also needed a couple of things looked at like the latch on the gas tank cover, the USB, and the latch on my center console. I picked up my car today, April 30th with only the gas tank cover/latch repaired and the tires rotated. #! they wanted $140 to change my oil; #2 in the month and a 1/2 they have had my car I've received 3 phone calls. The only reason I knew it was ready to pick up was because I called them and was on hold for 15 minutes while they checked the status on my car. I even left a message for the Assistant Service Manager and never got a message back. I could go on and on and on. I love my salesperson here, but the service department is sorely lacking in professionalism and customer care. The only positive out of the whole deal is I used their car for the whole time and was not charged. Never again. This would have been a different review if they had communicated with me because I realize back ordered parts happen. read more

I got to buy the first 2022 Lexus off the lot. I looked at all the reviews for Harvey Lexis on Yelp and Google and Rodrick Lilly's name kept standing out. Since I know the first salesperson who makes contact with you becomes your salesperson, I called in and asked to speak to him to make a connection so he would be my salesperson. I told him how I got his name and exactly what I was looking for. He emailed me information and I made the trip to see him from Texarkana. There are no Lexus dealers in my area. I' m over an hour away. Everyone, listen to me! I asked him if I need to have my car serviced can I take it to the Toyota dealership in Texarkana? He said no! Call us, we will send someone to pick it up, service it, wash it and bring it back to you that same day at no additional cost! I have purchased Cadillacs, Lincoln's, and a Porsche, to name a few luxury cars and I have never felt my business was so appreciated. I have always financed my cars and that is what I had planned on doing this time. I told him I work from home and don't really drive much anymore. He asked me if I liked to keep my cars for a long time and I said no. He suggested I lease the car and went on to explain how a lease works. Mr. Lilly and the finance manager showed me how I could save over $400 a month and then have the option to buy the car in three years for less than $33,000! I had always thought leasing was bad because you have to pay for the miles you go over. When I looked at my contract they had me set up for 15,000 miles a year. I know I won't drive 45,000 miles in three years. The thought of getting a new car every three years especially with all the new safety radar equipment coming out is perfect for me. I look forward to enjoying my beautiful 2022 RX 350 L and when it get close to my lease end, I am going to have Rod watch for the new car I will want to lease then. Overall, hands down, Harvey Lexis of Bossier City has been my best car buying/turned leasing experience ever. PS: I had them add a couple of things to my SUV. Since I made the deal on a Friday afternoon they were not able to get them installed. Rod offered to let me drive it home and bring it back to have them installed. I told him I would rather wait until it was ready. He said, no problem, when it is ready I will bring it to you personally. You know I have found my car dealership! Long story short, i contacted them based off a 2015 highlander with low milage, great service history and so forth that i had check out on line. The whole process with them took 2 days and ended with them offering a rave 4 with a higher price tag followed by, pressure to get it done. I said ill pass, price dropped 2000 instantly but still not what i wanted while costing more then what i wanted. If they had offered an upgrade at the same or better price maybe. They also want to run your credit before you even test drive the vehicles which i had to put a stop to that at the beginning. Skipping ahead I passed on this place for good. Don't make a service appt online. I was told I should have called. I asked why have appts online if I have to call to ask if the job can be done and I got neck rolls and the index finger in the air with the response that I should have called because it was mechanical. I'm not a car person, no idea what the difference with any of it is. I don't work there, so I have no idea what you can and cannot do. If an appt is available online, I'm going to request it online and definitely not going to call. As a business, you should look at your appts and YOU call/email me and tell me you can't perform my request. This was the second week I made the same appt request. The first wasn't your fault because of the outage, but you had two weeks to let me know it wasn't possible. Also, train your employees to respond better. Since I have management training, I knew better than to engage with her ignorance. read more

This is a review for the service department only. When I arrived, I told the advisor my tire pressure light kept coming on and asked if they would check it. I told her the vehicle had already been serviced the week prior and the tire pressure light was coming on again. I figured that was probably a nail hole or something that wasn't being found. I told the advisor this was a company car and I was trading it in for a newer model that weekend. When she told me my car was done, she showed me a bill showing they replaced the wiper blades and the cabin filter - billing the fleet company $100. I told the advisor I had already told her I was getting rid of the car so no additional work with necessary. She just said "Oh." It wasn't money out of my pocket, however it was unnecessary work charge to my company which is very aggravating simply because it's a matter of principle. As I'm making a 3 Hour drive home later that day, my check engine light came on along with a couple of other maintenance lights. I called the dealership explaining my frustration. First of all, they did work I didn't ask for. Secondly, I had a long drive home and didn't want to turn around and come back and spend a Friday in Shreveport. The visor apologized and told me he would have somebody call me back. He was going to check and see if they had a loaner car available. It was an hour before coking. They never called back. I was determined to get home quickly and was hoping this was just a simple fix. I pulled into a Toyota dealership in Marshall that was close by. They took care of me promptly (and 15 min prior closing.) Apparently, the technician had left the hose disconnected when he replace the cabin filter.... again a service I didn't ask for. I traveled the following week so it took me a while to get back around to calling them. I thought it was important that the service manager know what happened. I left a message for the service manager and didn't hear back. Three days later, I posted this review. read more

They sold me a car with condensation in the headlight unbeknownst to me. when I called to ask them about it they said well you can take it to the Nissan dealership it's still under warranty (thank goodness )but had to sit there for two hours while it got fixed. In my opinion they should've taken care of this before they sold me the car. Stay away from this dishonest crooked dealership! I signed a 36 month on a 2019 Toyota TRD Sport, John Harvey Toyota in Bossier City LA. I did not know the vehicle had a safety recall or class action lawsuit over a fuel pump issue. Then 6 months into the lease, the truck started sputtering and died on the road. Then at the 9 month mark it started doing it every couple days and dying on the highways, intersections,and on streets. I Took it to dealership for another recall and told Diane and another guy it was unsafe and dying on highways and intersections. She was very rude and condescending and said there was nothing they could do and needed to drive it until it died and wouldn't start anymore. They said there was no loaner or rental I would get, I would have to figure a replacement out until they figured out how to fix it. They knowingly sent me out in an unsafe vehicle and they knew was dying on highways and intersections. Today it died for good at intersection and had to have it towed to the dealer. I called the dealer, they said it was to late in the day and I'd have to figure out my own transportation, Even though they have a car lot full of cars. Then on Monday, they are trying to say it's fixed but Toyota hasn't come out with a fix yet, so they are trying to send me away in an unsafe vehicle once again that is stalling out on highways and intersections. read more

My initial visit was to take care of a RAV 4 2020 battery being drained by the computer. The service team updated the computer system and replaced the battery. All of that was taken care of quickly and service was good. HOWEVER, the next day, the vehicle died (shut off completely, no power, lights, anything, couldn't even put it in neutral) twice when I got it home, once at a restaurant. The only way I could get it to come back on was when I slammed the door, so I assumed something wasn't hooked up correctly. I called the dealership, they told me to come back in. It died completely (again, no dash lights, couldn't put the hazards on, etc.) at a busy intersection on my way there. I had to exit my vehicle, wave people around, and slam my door at least 3 times for it to come back on. When I made it to the dealership, I was told that it would probably be a couple of days before I was able to come pick it up again. I was also told there were no loaners on the lot. Luckily, the service manager came out before I left, I popped the hood, and he said immediately that he saw the problem. The service tech that put my battery in didn't hook it up correctly. Seems like a pretty basic thing to check for before letting someone leave the lot. read more

We found the vehicle that we wanted but it had to be ordered from a different dealership that they are partnered with. We came to an agreement on the price and waited for our vehicle to arrive. Once we came back to the dealership we went to sign the papers and it was almost $3000 higher than the greed upon price. The salesman was helpful but the managers and the finance department where talking to us as if we where wrong and the price was never agreed upon. They didn't even try to help us out.
