We found this restaurant on our way to Vienna. When we were going there (it's few kilometers to the south from Maissau) we were a little bit scared what the restaurant would be like because it's placed in a small village where you can expect tractors only. So we expected something like terrible pub full of smokers with beer. Fortunatelly it's nothing like this.
We were finely surprised, they serve a lot of regional wines and schnapps. The meals are made of fresh and seasonal ingredients. The chef also takes care of the look the dishes on your plate, so don't expect big portions of food which you can't eat, but expect tasty good looking food (with flowers and design).
And also we must mention the staff - it's very nice and helpful.
There is also no problem with gluten-free dishes - the allergens are written directly in the menu. And if you want the dish which includes the gluten according to the menu, just ask the staff, if they can make it without it for you.
This restaurant has very high standard which you would not expect in this place. Try it! read more
