The vehicle was having issues starting and caused her to miss work when I was out of town. The Garage replaced the fuel pump and she kindly paid the 700 hundred plus bill. The next day, the same issue appeared with no change. The issue was still there. When I returned from a business trip I researched the vehicle, problems and found it to be a 21 dollar easy to do yourself part. A dealer told me the same information. When I discussed this with the garage, they did not know the problem, they were guess repairing the vehicle and I had to tell them the issue, the part to solve it. Once solved I requested the old fuel pump, they never showed anyone, they had no diagnostics, they didnt have a clue why the problem was there?. When they tried to explain they tested it?, they said they used a headlight and tested electric current, replaced it started the car and it worked? they finally agreed it was an error as they could not argue with logic. When Icalled to get a check returned, they lied, said it was bad, became agitated, argumentive and used a bulling tone. They proceeded to then call my girlfriend since she paid. They WON that battle because she felt intimidated, fearful to speak up. Instead she lost 700 plus dollars for nothing. We decided like the other family and friends, its not the place it was and they can not be trusted with models of cars since 1980 and up.

Everybody was friendly, the shop was clean and organized. That says a lot when you're trying to size up an unknown shop. They looked at it, quoted a price, got the parts there in a couple hours, and fixed it the next morning when I dropped my truck off. They were very easy to work with, and completed the inspection very quickly. It was extremely thorough, including a road test, tire/brake/rotor checks, transmission fluids, etc. Josh also took pictures of any issues with the car and quoted prices on a repairs, which I was able to use at a bargaining tool. The price of the inspection was on the high side ($275 including tax) which is about $125 more than the national inspection companies but it was a much more thorough inspection. Wouldn't hesitate to use Layland Motors again and highly recommend their service.

I…read morecontacted my usual dealership for repairs to find out they wanted to send me elsewhere to get exhaust work done. I was skeptical at first but I went to DNR (dealership recommended), not only were they able to get the custom repair done in the same day but they noticed my transmission bearings leaking (they physically showed me), got the parts in and repaired it on the spot. No Mazda dealership would of done that in the same day! I have since went back to DNR for tune up upgrades including turbo inlet upgrades, blow off kit, and short ram cold air. They have a break room with kid toys for my 3 year old daughter to play with along with a HDTV and free WiFi to aid with the wait. I got dealership quality service at half the price! Very fair on pricing and they can get you in quick. I'm very pleased with their service and will no longer get work done anywhere else.
