The restaurant is very wheelchair and walker friendly, noticed my husband was not the only wheelchair there. The food is like sitting at a southern grandma's table and twice as good. You might think for a buffet some items would have that buffet heat spots, but nope, they kept on top of the food made sure everything was as fresh as possible and that nothing ran out. It is a wonderful place to enjoy lunch. The ambiance is home the little plaques with sayings all over the walls gives it a very homey feel.

Well Saturday night there is an hour wait, oh no, we can't wait that long so we drive into downtown Lucedale for other options. Found this location empty except for one other table. Interesting decor and Scooby Doo on TV, so we roll the dice. Mrs had the hamburger steak, grilled Vegs and mashed potatoes, Lil Pug selected Cajun Pasta and I was in the mood for steak and had same sides as Mrs. Cajun pasta was not very spicy, maybe out bayou life has us used to more kick. Steak was straight out of a Time Machine, I would have sworn in was Quincy's in 1992. Hamburger steak with gravy was tough and dense. Sides were salty and potatoes were from a box as was the gravy flavor wise. All in all food was non eventful not bad, but not worth a stop. Service was a little lacking, perhaps the young lady's were wanting to be anywhere else that night. Again, not bad but just not any more than bare minimum. No real negatives but no positives either, a very bland experience. Would I eat there again? Barista suggested the Rebel, which was very good. I also ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, other than it being $7.99, it was very good. The facility was clean and I noticed literally hundreds of different flavors located on the wall. If I'm ever back in town, you best believe I'll be stopping in.
