He said he's never heard of surgery for ED vasospasms or myocardial bridging. I told him about Stanford School in CA operating on thousands with my condition. He wouldn't listen. Just insisted something else was causing my pain because my EKG and ECHO were normal. I told about the FB forum myocardialbridge and that there's research that what causes pain doesn't always show up on EKG or ECHO. I argued for a CT and to be referred to a cardiologist who treated ED and post-op vasospasms. He sent me home to follow up with mental health. He even called my surgeon to say my pain wasn't cardiac or I was faking my symptoms. It was a terrifying experience. I don't know what to do. Dr. Hofelich is a cold, arrogant, and uncompassionate person.

This was to access if surgery were to be needed. I went to the receptionist and she said the earliest would be the last week of December! Since the majority of people who come here are to have cosmetic work done, why could not they have had one person put off 1.5 hrs in the appointment book for a real medical reason??? Fortunately I have been able to get Vascular Surgeon to work me thru another doctor I know. My doctor practices from this location and I would follow her anywhere. The receptionists are usually pleasant. This is really nice given the stresses of working in a medical office. The waiting area is large and clean with a big-screen TV, various magazines and a few toys for children. Rarely have I had a long wait when I come here. The average time of my entire appointment is about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. That includes waiting for the Doctor before the appointment, talking with her about my health (and asking questions) and checking out afterward. This office has been always efficient and respectful of my schedule at every interaction. If a service is promised, such as calling a specialist to make an appointment for me, it is completed and I am given the pertinent information in a timely manner. My physician (Dr. Rondo) is considerate and thorough. She asks questions, listens to the my answers and makes positive suggestions for a healthy lifestyle. In every appointment, I have always felt that I was her only patient that day. She always listens to my issues and never rushes through the appointment. While I know that I could drive a much shorter distance to see a primary care physician, I prefer to drive here so that I can receive considerate, thorough and attentive care.
