I'm currently here and am beyond frustrated. It rained around 11 a.m., and apparently that means there is no pool service for the rest of the day. Guests are given only one small towel, which barely covers the lounge chair, and I was refused a second. Since there was no pool service, I attempted to grab a drink from one of the casino bars to bring back outside, only to be told my cover-up was not appropriate. Mind you, I was wearing a one-piece swimsuit and a modest cover-up that happened to be slightly short. I've seen far more revealing attire throughout the casino. I've been here for three days and my room has not been serviced once. I currently have no clean towels. Last night, my room key repeatedly malfunctioned, requiring multiple trips to the front desk before maintenance finally had to come let me into my room. The valet service disappeared years ago, but that's only one small piece of a much larger problem. There are often homeless individuals congregating outside the property. Even the non-smoking rooms smell like smoke. The hotel itself appears neglected--dust coats the glass shelving, light fixtures, and other surfaces throughout the property. A closer look reveals a level of dirt and lack of upkeep that is hard to ignore. While many employees have been pleasant, others seem completely uninterested in providing quality customer service and have noticeably poor attitudes. The pool area remains the hotel's biggest selling point, but even that feels dated and poorly maintained. Much of the property is overdue for a deep cleaning, pressure washing, and significant refurbishment. I used to genuinely love staying here, which makes this review disappointing to write. The Hard Rock was once one of Biloxi's standout properties. Today, I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere--particularly at the Beau Rivage, which continues to offer a much higher standard of service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.

I moved to the Gulf Coast a year ago from Chicago and we had not only professional theatre, local theater and community theater. Downstage Productions is truly a very authentic and professional theater with heart. The actors are comfortable in their roles and execute their characters with style, grace and conviction. Again, while I felt the play was tired, the actors were not. The four in this play brought joy, excitement and laughter into each of their roles. I will definitely be a return theater goer to this awesome community project.

My family enjoyed all the seafood offered- including fried oysters, catfish, and shrimp, as well as okra and sweet potato fries. We enjoyed going to the Battle of the Bands event (offered every Thursday evening in June) but they have live music every week and a great website to check out what to watch and buy tickets. Only stayed for the few minutes to double my money on black. The smoke-free casino on the beach side was very good- big windows, good space between the games, restrooms nice. The bands on the tall stage on Friday and Saturday night were both great- played covers. Tables are good, dealers good. Rooms are very nice- comfy beds, roomy shower, can tell everything is new and all the chosen decor is good. Pool was so nice- fabulous swim up bar and the whole area was great- great vibe- scenery- had giant jenga and cornhole set up. Only two things in the room were subpar- a cheap plastic toilet seat and lid- thin plastic- super cheap and it moved around, guess one of the bolts had broken. Then, the shelf under the sink is constructed with cheap particle board. Definitely some costs were cut and noticeable. Also the first impression while actually on the property was extremely bad. The parking garage is disgusting. It needs a power wash. Elevator, posts, every surface looked so grimy. Trash and odd and ends, like leftover construction equipment, landing place for junk storage. There are no lines for the parking spots- cars parked at whatever angle they picked. First impression bad, but overall was a very good stay and would adjust arrival time to avoid the parking garage.
