Holy cow! I had no idea this place was down here, tucked right behind the Biloxi railroad tracks and the MS Mardi Gras Museum. The food is stellar, the service is sweet and helpful, and the live music is all local!! My family enjoyed all the seafood offered- including fried oysters, catfish, and shrimp, as well as okra and sweet potato fries. We enjoyed going to the Battle of the Bands event (offered every Thursday evening in June) but they have live music every week and a great website to check out what to watch and buy tickets. Had a grand time for my birthday Went for Sunday brunch, which was recommended by a friend. There was live music, loved the vibe, and the atmosphere. We had a reservation, the hostess was friendly, we were seated right in front the stage. Our server was great. Friendly and full of conversation. I ordered the avocado toast with egg over medium and they were cooked perfectly. The taste was good and the bread was fluffy. My husband ordered the omelet which came with potato wedges and he ordered a side of cheesy grits. There was a problem with the grits, not having the cheese and not hot (warm) and the wedges were almost cold. They were delicious with whatever the seasoning and butter sauce was. I give them a 5 star because they didn't hesitate to get the order corrected. Plus the wedges that were given as the correction, came in a bowl. The wedges that came with the omelet was only about 5 or 6 at the most. I got a birthday dessert which was a warm brownie with ice cream and caramel drizzle. This was really yummy I did order a mocktail, I showed a picture of something I had before and they did a good job of being creative. We dined here on new Year's day with some friends. The hostess is so friendly and extremely helpful. She helped us select the best table for the show. For our meal we shared onion rings and the fried cauliflower. Our server Joel was great. For dinner, we had the pulled chicken sammi with fried okra and sauteed squash. I also got to taste a special prime rib and cheese quesadilla, and collard greens. For dessert, we had the banana pudding and tried the fried cheesecake. All of the food was amazing. My wife and I headed to Biloxi for the Queensrÿche concert and decided we needed to get something to eat before the show. And since our heads were in Mississippi, a blues and BBQ club seemed like the perfect spot to enjoy a late lunch. We came in, and they were sound checking for the band that would be playing that night. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food and their specials, making several suggestions for our meal. The girl was very good at her job. My wife had the Prime Rib Sliders and fries special, which she enjoyed very much. She said the Prime Rib was very flavorful and juicy, and the accompanying fries were amazing, as I tried them myself. The fries were thick, crunchy on the outside, soft and hot on the inside, and they were tossed in a great blend of seasonings. Quite simply, these are some of the best fries I've ever eaten. I'm definitely going to remember them for a return trip there. I had The Real Deal BBQ Sammie, which was basically a pulled pork sandwich with Jim Beam BBQ sauce and a pile of tasty slaw. As a pulled pork sandwiches go, this was pretty special. The pork was sufficiently smoky, the slaw was great, very flavorful with a good crispness to it. I rate this in my top five pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. All in all, this was a lovely experience, one that would be really top tier excellent if I were to return when live blues music was playing. It's a short drive over there, so I may have to find out soon. read more

We visited Ground Zero for a Friday night blues show. There's street parking in front and a lot in the back. We purchased a table well in advance and were able to quickly be seated upon arrival. The show was great and I highly recommend reserving a table. The open seating is in the backyard and it didn't seem like they had good visibility. I'm not able to comment on food or drinks because we ate ahead of time. read more

This place is pretty cool, but there are two things that kept me from leaving a five-star review. For one, the bar is super far away from the stage, and faces away from the projection screen on the wall showing the performance. I realized the place is skinny and long so probably would have been difficult to put the stage closer to the bar but it's really annoying for people like me who prefer to sit at a bar than a table. My second issue is their prices are really high for this town. I get it, it's kind of a tourist destination and that's probably how they make their money, but I thought it was a bit ridiculous to pay that much for a bottle of beer. My husband's fried bologna sandwich was better than my Cuban by a mile. My coleslaw was pretty good and I'm usually pretty picky. Chips and salsa were nothing to write home about but my drink special for the night was 10/10. Unfortunately we came on a night where they had my husband's favorite beer on draft on special and they were out and what sealed the deal was the sweet potato fries which they were also out of so although my husband's sandwich was good he was still pretty disappointed. I recently visited Biloxi, MS to see my pals the Kudzu Kings play at Ground Zero Blues Club. I've been to Biloxi many times but I've never visited the Ground Zero Blues Club which might be because it only opened back in 2022. This location of Ground Zero Blue Club is the second one and the original Ground Zero Blues Club was opened up back in 2001 in Clarksdale, Mississippi with actor Morgan Freeman as one of the co-owners. The original Ground Zero Blues Club has had a successful history of great live music and Southern food which includes a noted burger. To get directly to my experience here I have to say I was quite disappointed in this place as a music venue as there really isn't a way you can stand in front of the stage so you have to be seated like at a dinner club to watch the music... which isn't the way I like to watch my pals the Kudzu Kings perform. I also would have to say there are definitely some bad seats in the house as about half of the seats in this joint don't get a clear view of the stage. When it comes to food here I had the burger and it was actually quite a good burger but service was really lacking as I requested a lemon for my iced tea FOUR times and NEVER received my lemon! Overall I just don't think I would want to watch another performance here with the current venues setup. Getting here from New Orleans takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes and the the trip is 89 miles each way. That is quite a distance to go to be denied a lemon for my iced tea and then to be seated in a place with a terrible view of the music without an option to have a stage standing area! They do have quite a selection of some nice looking food items I wouldn't mind trying at some point. I really think they can do much better at what they do here in many ways as this venue really has the potential to be a fantastic joint! This place is FIRE!!! I was in Biloxi for work and met one of the owners at Memorial hospital and traded contact info. He invited us to the free show but we had our sweet doggie so we couldn't stay; however, we ordered a burger and chicken tenders to go and they were both amazing. The service was amazing, the music was amazing! We live in the Baton Rouge area but will be back really soon and we will bring friends as well. We LOVE live music!!! I had the opportunity to visit twice on my most recent trip and I loved it both times! The first time was just for a couple drinks before we had to leave for another event but the awesome bartender made delicious drinks even when I told him to just surprise me! The next day two of my friends and I went back for brunch and everything was absolutely amazing! We also want to visit our girl Cassidy who is the best bartender in the world! We might be a little biased but it's still true! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and I need to go back to try things that I wasn't able to this time! So this place reminds me of my favorite blues bars I used to visit in the 80's. Eclectic decor. Lots of music memorabilia and perfect size for live music. The brunch on Saturday was amazing. Perfectly done biscuits and gravy along with bottomless mimosas. All of the food came with a side of live music. It's a great little venue with good service at both the bar and the restaurant. We heard about this place from our last visit to Biloxi. Guess our curiosity got to us. What were the odds that a special event was taking place! We opted for the affordable version, no VIP tickets. Fundraiser for local improvements & function called Mofos. ‍ We could have easily walked here from our hotel, however opted for ride. Very casual establishment with live music & known good food bar food. We are always curious of bar food. We were especially taken back at the variety of live music, music was pretty darn good. The limited bar menu, burgers & chips was not bad at all. Drinks perfectly made! I'm always impressed when a bar knows & can make a great Amaretto Whiskey Sour! If you are in the area, you definitely need to try this bar! read more

I attended a private elvent. The upstairs event room was a very nice size. It accommodated our group of about 50 people easily. The staff was very friendly. The food was good. I had the BLT without bacon and the sweet potato casserole. If you are planning an event there, the upstairs room is not easily accessed. You must climb a few flights of stairs. read more

Was in town for work and stayed the weekend and saw there was a Ground Zero here so decided to come for Sunday brunch. I have been to the one in Clarksdale, Mississippi many times (and have even had the pleasure of meeting Morgan Freeman). This one was ok, not bad but very commercialized. It does not have that down home southern blues juke joint kind of feel. We got there on right at opening and although we were seated right away, the service was lacking. We had to go find our waitress multiple times even though several other tables would come in and be helped and even got their items before we did. The food was great. Great views of stage as well as the many screens showing live performance make viewing possible from anywhere. The service is absolutely top notch. The food was good. Bar food variety but well done. Nice variety on menu, though a vegetarian entree option would be nice. House salad, house chips, chicken tenders and potato barrels were all delicious. Musically, the volume was a tad loud. Really cute place with some great acts. Smaller, intimate joint - there isn't a bad seat in the house. We were at a table on the "floor," but any seat in the house (even general admission, although you may stand if crowded) will provide you a good listening experience. The drink menu is nice, although we just had beer and Jack Daniels. Food is good, although our party just had some appetizers - fried green tomatoes, crawfish fritters, and mini beef pies. First time here and on a Wednesday night but still mostly filled up with patrons. Atmosphere was really nice and set the stage for a good blues show with some good laughs and dancing. They did a good job of getting the audience to participate as well. As far as food we only had the nachos but they were very good and very unique. Not like most nachos. If you are in Biloxi for a night visiting look up their schedule online and go check it out. This show was free but I believe they have some that require tickets. Came to this place b cuz we wanted to hear Kenny Neal play the guitar and Morgan Freeman is a Co Owner. It is a music/restaurant venue. As an appetizer we had the peanut hummus which had a little kick and excellent pita bread with it. Ordered the catfish platter with two sides and cornbread muffin. Catfish and cornbread were delicious. Catfish fried perfectly. Side dish was sweet potato casserole, very good. Had the barrel taters which was like hash browns in a small roll that was stuffed with cheese and bacon. Different and very tasty! The food was prepared in a timely fashion and came out very hot. Brenda was our server and gave us great service! The ambiance is an open and large brick exposed area with many tables. Two bars on each side of walls. One is long has 2 TV's and has windows that gave it a nice touch. It has 2 projection screens that has videos going on while waiting for the musicians.
