I finally went up to the counter to ask for a time frame, and the guy at the counter--Will--basically ignored me. Another worker nearby noticed and came over to assist. Thankfully, he was able to get my repair handled quickly. After the repair was completed, I waited another 10 minutes for someone to check me out. No one came over, so I went back to the counter. Will told me he would get someone to check me out, but it still took longer than it should have. I ended up being there for nearly two hours for a simple tire repair. They don't have vending machines for drinks or snacks--just coffee--so waiting was frustrating. Meanwhile, I could see employees on their phones, seemingly unconcerned with the long wait times. I won't be going back to Delta World Tire. The service was slow, the communication was lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing.

Last week I brought my Chevy Silverado to have my tire pressure monitors replaced/serviced. This was the second time in about 4 months to have this done. No problem, chalked it up to "it happens). I was told at that time my brake pads needed to be replaced as well. My monitoring system said I had about 25% left on pads. Couldn't do it then because of time. Under normal situations I would have my regular mechanic (automotive plus) do this work but since they identified the problem I said what the heck. I called yesterday set up the work and wanted to have it scheduled for this morning, was told it would take about an hour and a half and I would wait. i also decided to have an oil change done which would qualify me for a tire rotation (This was the second set of tires for the truck, both time purchases made at Delta). I arrived at 7:30am. The truck was put on the lift at 8:45. Bottom line: the administrator called me up to settle. She indicated the break pads didn't need to be replaced after saying they needed to be replaced. I asked her if the tires were rotated and she said yes. I went to the back to tip the technician as I always do. I asked him if he had rotated tires and he said no (I tipped him anyway, good Kid). Long story short: almost 2 hours for an oil change and this is all that was done. The bothersome thing for me was the Misinformation proved by the lady in the front. Disappointing.
