I went to Delta World Tire today for a tire repair. When I arrived, there were only two people ahead of me. Despite that, I ended up waiting for over an hour with no updates. I finally went up to the counter to ask for a time frame, and the guy at the counter--Will--basically ignored me. Another worker nearby noticed and came over to assist. Thankfully, he was able to get my repair handled quickly. After the repair was completed, I waited another 10 minutes for someone to check me out. No one came over, so I went back to the counter. Will told me he would get someone to check me out, but it still took longer than it should have. I ended up being there for nearly two hours for a simple tire repair. They don't have vending machines for drinks or snacks--just coffee--so waiting was frustrating. Meanwhile, I could see employees on their phones, seemingly unconcerned with the long wait times. I won't be going back to Delta World Tire. The service was slow, the communication was lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing. read more

I've purchased tires exclusively from Delta for over 20 years (multiple vehicles). Have used them for all of my tire repair/replacement service). Last week I brought my Chevy Silverado to have my tire pressure monitors replaced/serviced. This was the second time in about 4 months to have this done. No problem, chalked it up to "it happens). I was told at that time my brake pads needed to be replaced as well. My monitoring system said I had about 25% left on pads. Couldn't do it then because of time. Under normal situations I would have my regular mechanic (automotive plus) do this work but since they identified the problem I said what the heck. I called yesterday set up the work and wanted to have it scheduled for this morning, was told it would take about an hour and a half and I would wait. i also decided to have an oil change done which would qualify me for a tire rotation (This was the second set of tires for the truck, both time purchases made at Delta). I arrived at 7:30am. The truck was put on the lift at 8:45. Bottom line: the administrator called me up to settle. She indicated the break pads didn't need to be replaced after saying they needed to be replaced. I asked her if the tires were rotated and she said yes. I went to the back to tip the technician as I always do. I asked him if he had rotated tires and he said no (I tipped him anyway, good Kid). Long story short: almost 2 hours for an oil change and this is all that was done. The bothersome thing for me was the Misinformation proved by the lady in the front. Disappointing. read more

I walked in to get a price on four new tires. I was quoted $1200 after I questioned it. I was given $100 rebate on the tires which bought the price down. I also question if there was a charge on that quote to get the tires rotated and free tire repairs and yes there was. So I had that removed being I don't live local. I asked if they had time to put the tires on I was told yes. So I sat down. It took about five hours. Then I was told the man that does the complementary wheel alignment check was off that I could bring it back at another time and get that done. I asked if the next week on Wednesday would be OK and I was told yes he would be there. I went there today and I was told by a different person, They did not have time to do it. I would have to come back another day. Then I told them that I took two of my old tires with me and I was charged a disposal of $6.50 each on all four tires and that 2 tires would be used on another vehicle and I took them with me so they owed me $13 back. After I was already told I would get a refund over the phone the people there today said no. They were not nice at all. Makes you feel like once they got your money that's it. They told me I would have to come back another time. Problem is I don't live local. That's another trip for me. I could actually say I feel like Sams wholesale gave me better treatment when I purchased ties from them. Putting the tires on was much quicker. Sams gave three years roadside assistance for free. And only charge a total of $40 to put the tires on the car. Lesson learned! read more

I was having issues with my brakes and this was the only place open on a Saturday. They told me they could take care of it. Almost two weeks later, they gave up on it completely after trying to change the brake booster and a couple other things. I had to get the car towed to a dealership and they still charged me $700 even though the car was in the exact same state they got it. As far as I know they could have been lying and never even touched the car. read more

I was in need of a new set of tires. They were the cheapest and fastest I could get. The only hiccup I had was they had only 3 out the 4 tires. Things happen. The 4th tire was ordered and on within a couple days due to it being the weekend. The gentlemen in side were wonderful and very fast at helping get it all taken care of. They gave my Rav a run down so much so they knew I purchased it after it had been stored a while. Thanks for the wonderful service. I will be back! Has always been 5 stars until today. I was looking to get 6 tires for my camper so i called to see if they had them in stock. Stayed on hold long enough for me to drive to the store with my camper(19 minutes) and told them how long I was waiting. Guy behind the counter told me "wait on you here or on the phone" and when I said I ought to go somewhere else he told me to go ahead. It's good to know you don't need my business. FYI I have 66 tires on trucks, trailers, boat, tractors and before I retired 18 wheelers. Been doing business with ya'll as long as you have been here but that will cease now as long as that guy is in your store. By the way I did go somewhere else! Delta Tire World in New Iberia provided great services, reasonable prices and a decent and clean waiting area. The staff was friendly and informative. I would give a 5 Star rating but for one employee who was just rude. Aside from her nastiness my one and only experience with DTW was quite positive. read more

I've used Delta plenty of times and have never had any problems, but this morning I called to see if they had my size tire in stock and the lady who answered the phone was the rudest person I've talked to there easily. She asked for my size and I said oh yes ma'am it's a R17 then she told no that's not the size. I was then like oh I'm sorry it's P265/70R17 and proceeded to tell me that's not the size. I was confused so I asked where is the size of my tire at (thinking I must be wrong, I'm definitely no expert). She then rudely asked if I'm even looking at my tire, which of course I was unless I'm just making up numbers. After her talking down to me for enough time I just read 265/70R17, the same thing just without the P this time. She told me it was in stock. When I asked for a price range she wouldn't even tell me that without being complicated saying well it varies. I said ok thank you but I just need the price range. Which she finally told me. Like I've said I've never had problems before with their service, but her attitude was awful. read more

I had a rude office worker talk to me and curse me out. I had encountered the same office worker yell and curse out an employee for helping other fellow workers. I guess because the office worker was having a bad day. Still doesn't mean you can take your anger out on your employees. I seen people break into customer vehicles and take their personal belongings. I had a bad experience their prices are very high and overcharge for simple takes and have to pay an extra 200 dollars for shop supplies but they only changed my tire was not aware I was having to pay for air in my tires. I live in Laplace about 2 hours east of new iberia . I got a screw attached to a bungee cord. Went to Delta World . They were extremely nice and very attentive. I told them I was driving back home, Less than 30 min my SUV was ready. The entire staff was so nice. read more
