When we moved in 8 years…read moreago there was some brickery that contoured along the front yard, and that brickery was installed, I assume, when the house was built in '94. It was tired and the adhesive wasn't, so the upper layer of brickery liked to fall or break because delivery people don't care and they walk wherever they want to. Once I decided I wanted to do something I called Luv-It Landscaping to come out and take a look at what they could do. My first thought was to replace the brickery with landscaping timbers, probably 2 layers. When James arrived to size it up, he said railroad ties would actually look better and cost significantly less. I'm on board with "look better and cost less". If we were to remove the existing bricks it'd cost less as well. Consider it done A few days later I got my very reasonable quote in the mail and told them we were good to move forward. Fast forward a couple weeks. I got a call from Kim that they'd be out next next morning to do the work. I said no one would be home, but she said that's Otay because there was no need to go inside for anything. Sure enough, the next morning at 8:30 my front door camera told me someone was there. They got right to work unloading the railroad ties and commenced placing and cutting them. I don't think it took much over an hour from the time they started until the time they left. They did a great job of not only placing and securing the ties, but also cleaning up before they they left. The tree was in the front yard, but that didn't make it easier to work around all my other plants. Looking at the stump the night of, you'd never known that a crew had been there earlier that day with the exception of the wood chips which helped my mulch. Oh, one thing good I can say about Stumps is they charged $800 less if I had it removed before leaves grew out. No one really knows if that amount is added first so It can sound like a discount. These dudes are great. We've had them prune a variety of trees, from crab apple to ash. They've…read moretreated ash for pests as well. Their arborist is so knowledgeable and doesn't bat an eye when you ask a silly or tough question about a tree, shrub, bush, etc. That's not at all common among other companies we've had quote pruning and preventative treatments. They won't oversell, but it's not the cheapest. However you get extremely well trainings and knowledgeable crews. Even when working, they'll stop to answer inquiries, share some deep tree knowledge, and respond to requests. When they finished their trimming, the didn't leave any messes. I'll use Limbwalker again for sure.
