Within a week the plants were dropping leaves and in a month they were bare with no regrowth this spring. They are telling me I planted them wrong and they only guarantee plants they plant. However, the other 12 plants I added during the same season and in the same soil are doing great. I believe the roots of the plants they sold me were frozen prior to delivery and never had a chance. Now I can't get a response or refund. Instead of a beautiful spring landscape, I have dead plants.

He did show up with his son to plant shrubs and flowers across our property. During the first year we experienced some plant mortality. Aside from that, there were several punch list items that he did not complete, although these were tasks in his contract. John maintained communication via text for a few months after initial installation, and he promised several times to return to finish work and replace our dead plants. He never showed up again. Ultimately, he completely ghosted us, and left us with $5,000 in unfinished work and dead plants, plus a $1000 bill to our attorney to send him a demand letter. Once you pay John and/or this company, I would be very leary that the work will not be completed and John will run off with your money.

They were prompt, courteous, and most importantly to us; promising that we'd have a stellar yard when they were done with it. That was in Sept of 2013. As of mid-April, they have delivered on their word. From killing all vegetation in September to now, the change is dramatic, the grass came in like they said it would, and they've been out twice this spring to reseed small patches and fill in where seed was either washed away by fall rain, or maybe eaten by birds. It's not even finished filling in, and we already have the best yard in the neighborhood. I can't say enough good things about them. They told us they were by no means the cheapest guys in town, but pride themselves on being the best. We only bid the job to 2 other companies recommended by the BBB, but neither was as prompt or detailed regarding the quote we asked to have prepared.
