We had a badly laid brick patio as well as a concrete apron around the pool that we wanted replaced with stamped concrete. Approximately 930 square feet of new concrete. The experience with Solutions People was 99% positive. They came out within a couple of days to do the estimate/write up. Alberto is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He pointed out a number of issues we were having with water infiltration due to the poorly laid bricks before we told him. He also pointed out some expenses unrelated to the actual concrete that we may not (and didn't) consider like replacing the pool cover anchors, replacing the ladder inserts and possibly replacing the skimmers if they happened to be brittle and crack due to the jackhammering. His proposal included many items that some other companies wouldn't didn't include that he (and I) believe were necessary to do the project correctly so that it would last. He's very up-front about concerns/issues and ensures that you have a complete picture of what is to come. The crews that showed up worked hard and were respectful of the yard, keeping everything as clean as possible. The payment schedule was reasonable and spaced out along the lifetime of the project -- approximately 10% deposit and 4 payments at various points in the project. My one complaint is that the communication of schedule left me in the dark. I never knew from day to day if the crew would be on-site. At one point they had employee issues and I didn't hear from them for almost 2 weeks. My 2-3 week project turned into an 8 week project. Highly recommend! Alberto, the owner, listened to my wants and concerns. I wanted a patio in the front with a round sitting. I also wanted a walkway from front of the house to the driveway, and a patio in the back. The biggest problem in the back was the yard had a slope to the back door and occasionally would potentially flood if precautions were not taken. Alberto, you took my ideas and drew a plan that was exactly what I wanted. Designer Nataliya was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in picking stones and colors as it can be a little overwhelming. Pricing was competitive, as we had several other quotes from other paver companies. Crews were awesome and very efficient. There were two small hiccups that no one anticipated, but the crew was able to resolve both issues with no interruption to the project. Alberto and his crew leveled the backyard and redirected the water to a new drain in the back yard. I will never have to worry about water potentially damaging my French doors again. I am really pleased with the quality of the stamped concrete driveway that Solution People installed for me. They may not be the cheapest concrete company but they are very professional, communicate well and will handle the process from start to finish with permits, prep, pouring and clean up. We continue to receive compliments on the driveway and feel that it was money well spent. For 2nd concrete project in 3 months, we were completely satisfied. We previously had a concrete pad installed under our barn overhang. Rosie had the knowledge and insight to take extra care around an existing well which could have been disastrous if not handle properly. Our most recent project was replacing a concrete floor in our shed/chicken coop that was destroyed by a groundhog. Care was taken to excavate extra deep, and the finish is as smooth as glass.
