This company was an absolute nightmare to work with. Avoid at all costs. Quoting phase went okay. We needed a new gate at the front and back of our breezeway. We were also concerned about some loose pickets in our yard fence and they assured us they could take out about 8 of the pickets that were loose and replace them with new ones. They also talked us through specific designs for the breezeway gates and everything sounded promising. On the day of the job they estimated they would arrive between 9-10am. They didn't show up until 11am and the lead installer had no idea about any of the gate design elements from the quoting phase. I had to walk him through everything again and he had to reach out to his boss to confirm more details. After all that, they had to go back out and actually purchase materials so it was well after noon before they started work. On the back breezeway gate, they did a fine job. The front breezeway gate had one post that was extremely loose and wobbling. The pickets they put in to replace our loose ones were completely the wrong size in height and width and looked atrocious. Several pickets were not even connected at all at the bottom and some of the ones that were, were not even screwed in all the way. Check out the pictures, this was the complete opposite of a professional looking job. After surveying the work, we immediately called to try and have them rectify the shoddy craftsmanship. Someone came out pretty quickly to have the gate wobble fixed. That guy pushed off responsibility for the mismatched, shoddy looking pickets and said he'd have the owner get in touch with us to come up with a solution. Guess what? He never did. We ended up trying to contact him multiple times and each time we were berated by some lady who sometimes claimed to be the owner, sometimes claimed the owner was some guy named "Ray" who would get in touch with us to come up with a solution. Mmm hmm. Heard this one before. The lady had the audacity to essentially blame us for having too high expectations of how professional the job should look. One time we actually managed to get ahold of someone named "Ray" and he immediately deflected, said he didn't need to discuss the job with us because his staff had it firmly under control. He told us they would be in touch to communicate a resolution. We left it at that. They ghosted and never communicated with us further, despite saying that they would. Company could not manage a professional install and ran away from the problem when called out on it. Spend money with them at your own peril. read more

Not only were they super affordable, but their customer service as well as overall workmanship is nothing short of amazing! It was extremely hard to find a company that takes a small job, but Bergo showed up and gave me a BEAUTIFUL fence that I cannot stop admiring! They were professional, confirmed all the details with me as they went, didn't disturb me at all while I worked from home and they worked outside. Left trash, including cigarette butts/packages, potato chip bags, cardboard and empty concrete bags all over my property. Used my hose, left it on and flooded my backyard. Did the install while I was at work, sent pictures from a distance. Of course looked fine untiI got home and saw the quality of the work. No corner posts, crooked panels, overlapping edges, post in the driveway - which was NOT indicated on the site plans. Hired through Lowes- never responded to calls to fix work. Not sure how these people stay in business, but looking at some other reviews I can't say they will be for long! read more

On 5/12/21, After buying my fence through Home Depot and agreeing to a picket fence of my liking, Bergo Fencing installs a privacy fence. I explained to the owner and contractors on site, it was the wrong fence on the day of install. We have violent winds coming around the corner, and I needed something secure and picketed to allow the wind to come through due to having a corner property. Well the owner told his contractors to install the fence anyway. I called costumer service immediately, and they never got back to me after generating a case number on 5/13/21. I have called customer service repeatedly, and no resolve. I went to the HD store on Roosevelt Blvd and spoke with Jim the store manger, he said someone will get back to me. Weeks past, no one called me. I went back to the store spoke to Jim again, and a lady in the installation department, I was told again someone will get back to me and come to my home to inspect the work. Well months have past and no one has addressed my concerns. I called again today and the customer service representative used my same case number and said someone will get back to me. Well I called my HD credit card and disputed the charges, now maybe someone will get back to me and address my concerns. Also, when Bergo Fencing installed the fence, one of the doors was dented. The owner stated they would order the door and come back in a few weeks to reinstall. Well I called them two weeks ago (which was serval months later), and they came to replace the door finally. The owner also stated, they would come and check the concrete to ensure it set correctly, well that never happened. But If I didn't call, they would have never come to replace the door, but never fixed the concrete. This fencing company should have never been referred to us by HD do to their long history of bad customer service and failed installations. Buyers Beware!!! read more

Wish that I could give a ZERO STAR RATING. The company is a joke they sub out work to people who have no clue what they are doing. When you call and tell them how awful the work is Ray sends out more guys who have no idea what they are doing. I gave Ray many times to make the job right and every time he sends out a crew who have no clue what they are doing. They are unprofessional cursing and mad because they have to fix the work of a crew who totally mangled the job in the beginning. I have all of this on camera. Also the last crew he sent out put the fence in upside down LOL Shows you how good of skill level they have. They are no longer allowed on my property. If you are looking for a professional company to install a fence please pass by this business. They leave your outside a mess and the work is sloppy looks like my 2 year old did it. I am going to attach pictures if I can. I have had so many people come up and ask who did my fence because it looks so bad. I proudly say BERGO FENCE because they deserve an awful name for the skill level and for being so unprofessional EVERYONE SAYS THE SAME THING they NEVER use them. Ray runs a very bad business not once has came out to see the issues. He will come at me with oh you bought the material yes I did and it's from great railing and it's good quality not from home depot like the half ass post he bought me to replace the one his guys messed up. The crew he sent out to look at the issues told ray and sent him photos of what was going on and he kept arguing with his foreman on the phone. I was under the impression that he would send that guy out but i'm sure he was his A crew so instead of sending his best crew out and making the job right he sends out people worse then the crew who came the first time. Then he will come at me with calling after a storm but not sure what the storm has to do with the gate not closing even his crew said it was bad work and that my fence was good quality. Bergos Fencing is an incredible Fencing Company. I just had my really nice aluminum fence installed yesterday (I own a row home) and I love it and so do my neighbors. Bergos Fencing is a credible (seriously legit) and incredible company. The owner Ray is an incredible professional. He kept me informed throughout the entire process of when my fence will be installed- it normally takes some time for materials to come in and he made sure the materials were there on time for my installation. Ray also kept to his word and finished the installment in a single day. He is someone that can be trusted- he knows doing good work matters. In addition, there were three men working on my fence and they remained focused during the entire installation. They didn't even take a lunch break which I found impressive. They all arrived in their nice red Bergos Fencing shirts ready to work. The lead foreman Sam was great to work with as well. I had a very pretty Aluminum Fence installed. I surveyed four companies- Pencrest, Everlasting, and Northeast Fencing. Bergos came at the best price- several hundred dollars better than the others and they use the same fencing materials- Jerith which is a quality fence. Bergos does not have as much overhead as others do which helps with pricing. The owner is fair. Hands down Bergos fencing are good and legit. I most certainly recommend them to anyone. read more
