    Awaiting Tues King Trivia night!
    Cynthia C.

We always feel welcome and have a great evening at Lane 33 B&G. We haven't been to Winnetka Bowl, just this bar located within. We come for Tuesday night Trivia with generous gift certificates up as weekly prizes - so fun! Drinks are REALLY GOOD, and fairly priced. Want a delicious, crafter cocktail in LA County without the $15-$20 price, come to Lane 33 and let Anthony, Rio and the rest of the bar staff care for you. Just want a cold beer at a fair price? It's a bowling alley bar, they gotcha, friend! Bar bites consist of 1/4lb hot dogs, polish sausages, a delicious corn dog reminiscent of my childhood(not overcooked like the "on the stick" place), personal pizza and bags o' chips. If you're looking for more of a meal, food service is available through the bar from The Village Cafe, adjacent to the bar and bowling alley. The Village Cafe is a separate business, so the bill is separate from Lane 33 B&G, but everyone works together to make sure patrons are happy with whatever meal options they choose. Food from The Village Cafe is very good and portions are generous. But back to Lane 33 B&G.... While feeling like a neighborhood bar that understands how to make a cocktail, L33 also has lots to offer in terms of amusement: in addition to the aforementioned trivia Tuesday nights, they also have Karaoke, video and pinball games, a pool table and, of course, bowling. Bathrooms are kept clean and are neutral use. Staff checks Covid vaccine status if they don't recognize you, and gives you a wristband so coworkers know you've been vetted. Parking is free and plentiful and we've noticed a security guard walking the area every time we've gone. L33 quickly became a regular venue for us from the first visit because it's fun, friendly, clean, safe and serves delicious, solid food and drinks.

Very nice staff, great place to just hang. Also I enjoyed karaoke with the old folks. They cheered as we sang All Star

The bartenders were amazing! The drinks were also great. They had a large variety I was not expecting but am glad they had.

This version is a quarter-pound beef Frank, split and grilled to a nice char, topped with the appropriate suspects: mustard, relish, pickles, onions and sport peppers. I deleted the tomatoes and added extra peppers. Served on a hearty roll rather than a bun, this is much more of a meal than a snack, with loads of flavor coming from very fresh ingredients, and a pleasing punch coming from the peppers. Even if you keep the tomato on yours, definitely add extra peppers. The dog comes à la carte, but I added a side of their scratch-made onion rings, and they did not disappoint. Thinly sliced onions are dipped in a frothy beer batter and lightly fried, rendering them crispy, sweet and very tasty without being greasy or heavy. Perfect for dipping in any number of sauces, though they serve a side of ranch by default. Chris was tending bar, and took good care of me despite the place being very crowded for trivia night. Good energy from a good crowd, as always, and one of the best Chicago Dogs I've had in SoCal.

I often visit with my friends to watch a game and enjoy a bacon smash burger (this time I tried the chicken sandwich and it was good!) with fries and a Dublin Donkey, which I think is a Moscow Mule with rum. I'll need to verify that and get back to you. The place is always clean, they have a shuffle board and pool table, which usually has a game going on, and the bartenders and cooks are always super friendly. There are a bunch of TVs, so they can always switch to the game you want to watch. It's usually pretty empty during the weekdays but can get crowded on weekends with a live DJ spinning the joints (sometimes you can't even get from onside of the room to the other). Occasionally, they have a taco man and a food truck outside late at night.
