And I'm BAAAAAAck as promised.. I came twice just to make sure I wanted to update this.. and I'm glad I did! Simon was THE most friendliest and interactive bartender. I love feeling welcomed. Mind you I'm on a Sunday in and I still like it. Veeeeeerry chill and who ever has the aux, is hitting it. Excited for the architect drink; it's a nice 2oz. Love this place!! Can't wait to go back Staff will recognize you and say hi. Most if the time,, these hard working bartenders have smiles on their faces (the only time they don't have a smile is when they have a rude customer). As to the magicians....I've gone twice to The RABBIT HOLE and both times the magicians just floored me! And let's not forget about the outside in the back. A huge connect 4 game.....space to chill and /or smoke. They leave water and cups out there also. I absolutely ADORE and freakin LOVE the RABBIT HOLE. If I could write give a 0 I would. If you are of skin color do not go to this place, they hate people of dark skin color BLACK PEOPLE to be exact, I went on Tuesday night to continue celebrating my birthday mind you we were buying drinks laughing the night away and the waiter that night came and said we were being loud and needed to keep it down. We then apologized and continued on laughing so much because we were having such a good night then he approached us again and said we had to leave because we were being loud and everyone was complaining mind you we were cool with everyone and everyone was like we didn't say anything we were having a good time minding our business he was just intimidated because there was 4 black men he kicks us out and then we start to ask why do we have to leave? He said because I said then my friend tells him because we're black! He starts arguing and tells my friend get your black ass out of here. This place was pretty cool. The decor was really cool. Nice place to hang out with a friend. I went on a Thursday night so it was pretty dead but I do want to come back on the weekend. My friend and I ordered a midori sour instead of what was on their menu, but next time I'll probably just stick with their menu drink options because our drink wasn't made right. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good. I wish they some type of bar food tho! Overall nice experience and they had great music playing. read more

I celebrated my 21st birthday at The Rabbit Hole and it was honestly unforgettable. The whole bar was decorated with an Alicyn Wonderland theme -- it felt so magical and creative the second we walked in. Everywhere you looked, there were little details that made it feel like you had stepped into another world. Since my friends and I were all between 18-20 at the time, they let us hang out in this awesome back room before midnight. It wasn't just a basic room either -- we got to play water beer pong, darts, and pool, there was karaoke, live music and a full-on magic show happening too! It was seriously nonstop entertainment and the vibe was just so fun and laid-back. Then when midnight hit and I officially turned 21, they let me into the main bar area -- and even took it a step further by letting me go behind the bar and make my own birthday drink, completely on them. It made the night feel so personal and special. Every single staff member was so welcoming, cool, and made sure the night was unforgettable. Huge shoutout to The Rabbit Hole for creating such a special experience. I truly couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate turning 21. the vibes are alright, lively friday night and i had a nice hang with my boyfriend. $5 cover and the bouncer was nice and funny. but as some other reviews also said they over charged my card $10 for some reason (drinks are already pricey for what they are). the youtube 'rave lights' video projections on the walls were humorous. had a giggle every time the video ended and the next had to be chosen. the three different movies playing on three different tv's at the same time was also interesting. funny and chill new experience but probably wont be back. read more

I remember when this place first opened up. It was poppin as hell. The drinks came in cute little potion bottles. And they had some fun light-up cocktails if I can remember correctly. But I always left the place not remembering much. Last time I was there 2 or 3 years ago, the energy kind of died down. It's still a cool spot to hang at, but the glitz and glamour isn't the same anymore. Hit it up if you're an Alice in wonderland fan. Play some pool if they still have a table. read more

Cool dive bar! A lot smaller than I imagined from the photos on their website, but nonetheless, the decor was very trippy and on brand with the Alice theme. All of the staff are very friendly - the bouncers at the door even helped me put on a glow bracelet for a stop light party they were hosting that night! No food, as much as I remember, but the drinks were good! I wanted to try one of the fish bowls but had to leave before I could. Gotta come back some time to try them! read more

As you come in, it's like you enter another world -- one of elegance and beauty. You can't help but notice perfect ambient lighting and modern vibes throughout the inside dine-in area and as you enter their huge gorgeous backyard patio, you just know that you're in the right place. The seating area there is massive, with very modern finishes and towards the rear of the patio you have the most beautiful water feature piece, that looks like a human-size vase, with water running down the vase and being met by fire at the base. Just one incredible architectural piece that creates that posh, contemporary ambiance. After taking in the breathtaking design of the spot, we finally sat down and ordered food. We tried the tuna tartare, squash blossoms appetizer and my wife got a seabass entree while I got their highly recommended vodka pasta. All of the food was absolutely incredible, from the freshness of tuna tartare, uniquely wonderful flavor profile of the squash blossoms , to the yummy vodka lumaconi pasta and the most mouth-watering seabass that I've ever tried in my life. I honestly never thought a fish could taste so good. The seabass was charred on the outside and just incredibly soft on the inside. As you barely touch the seabass with the fork, a piece of succulent seabass gets separated simply due to the natural gravity of the fork. The taste is perfect. It's like they somehow cooked it with large piece of butter on the inside. The incredible flavor profile and the consistency of each bite of this seabass, were simply unparalleled. And to add to all this awesomeness, the bed of risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic as well. To finish off our meal, we decided to share their apple tart pastry and it too, was fresh, flavorful and that scoop of ice cream on top, made the pastry just perfect. I ordered a traditional turkey club sandwich, but swapped the usual fries for breakfast home fries, which they did without any extra charge. Despite the crowd, my food was ready in under 10 minutes, and I was given quite a generous plate. The sandwich itself was built with high quality turkey, crispy bacon and very fresh veggies. It all worked together exactly as intended, and was a very satisfying traditional bite. The home fries had a goodly amount of peppers and onions, but could have used a dash more seasoning. I added some salt and a few dabs of ketchup, and the starchy side lit up as it needed to, and was a nice change of pace from French fries. Service was jovial and attentive, and one really can't complain about this stalwart coffee shop doing such a good job of making comfort diner food so well.

Their lot is tiny. The service was alright. I wish they fill up my water but I couldn't find the staff. When the staff came to check on us, we basically already finished eating. The Texas Burger 5/5 was juicy and cheesy. The cheese melt properly and soaked up the meat and the butter-toasted buns. The vegetables were crunchy and crispy. Liver and onion 2/5 was just so so. The liver was cooked right but could be more creamy and buttery. The caramelized onions, as you can see, were still pale and could be cooked for longer. There are a few sides with it plus garlic bread. Onion rings 5/5 were crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside. They were cooked just right and the seasoning allows some buttery and extra crisp. 2x2x2x2 5/5 was plenty of food for two people. I would get this if I was indecisive. You can't cook these things wrong anyway because they're simple to make. Overall, it was interesting to check out the place but this isn't my favorite.

Reseda is not our usual spot for a Saturday night but V lounge may have changed that or at least our idea of it. They have Valet parking for their location but it is small and it will most certainly fill up! you can park on the street or off of G-line Metro station they have parking there and its well lit. Upon walking in the guard does a quick pat down and checks for ID and purses following that you walk through metal detectors. There was no cover charge. As soon as you enter you have the bar to the left and to the right you have the nightclub. They have so much seating area! that was impressive! In our first visit they did not have tonic for my usual vodka tonic i will say this place is expensive for a non cocktail drink. I do want to point out that they have pricing discrepancies. how do we go from the first round of drinks which was jack and coke for $32 dollars then the next round be $36 dollars ?? make that make sense. You can tell the crowd is very much about dancing. after all what do you come to a nightclub for ? they have great dance floor with a lot of lighting and loud speakers. I would like to say that the seating booths are for bottle service or buckets of beer and seltzers'. I think the buckets of beer start off at $8 per container (depending on what you get) we got 6 white claws for $48. Bathrooms were decent but could be improved in my opinion. The ac system works great its always fresh though we have not put it to the test by dancing. This place has so much potential to improve. I still have mixed feelings so we shall see what the future holds.
