I had a great experience overall. If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, it's that the heavy use of generative AI for the social media posts, website, and answering machine (the Laurence Fishburne voice) felt at odds with The Matrix. This isn't about AI ethics or its impact on creative jobs. It's that The Matrix is fundamentally about humanity resisting machines and corporate control. Using AI to promote the experience makes the film's themes feel a bit superficial, since it seems to contradict the message the story was trying to convey. I "spoke" to the Trinity bot on the website who said: "Artist are vital to our cause, but in the world where perception can be manipulated we must leverage every tool." I am leaving five stars since I personally use AI sometimes and am not trying to complain, and hope to come back and visit soon. I guess basically I'm just saying that some of my friends do find it to be a dealbreaker and will not support businesses that use these types of generative tools created by mega corporations. read more

The Rabbit Hole has a whole new vibe after the remodel, and I love what they've done with this space! The updates look amazing, especially the new stage for live music it really adds to the atmosphere. Huge shout out to Yasmine who was our bartender, and she was the best! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. The drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent. I had a great time enjoying the music and checking out all the changes. What a cool place! Everything was on point. Polite doormen? What what? Yes! Everyone was cool behind the bar, the vibe of the crowd was cool and the bands were awesome! Very cool Alice in Wonderland Vibe inside. Such an amazing place for the area of town. Went there for the first time last night, and was expecting to see what ive seen in pictures, but it was nothing like that at all, walked into the bar area, and there was a band playing, and it was completely lit up, and there was no way to get to the bar, it was just crowded with a bunch of folks standing around blocking the way to the bar. So we went to the lounge area, watched a magic show, which was fun, and then left. This experience was disappointing. We will give it one more chance, but no band nonsense, we want to experience the theme of the bar like everyone speaks so highly about. One of the most unique and memorable dive bars I've been to. The bar is Alice In Wonderland-themed - checkered floors, funhouse furniture, character stools, neon/blacklights. The bathroom, when I was there, had red paint dripping blood-like down the walls and a "Shining" theme. The drinks are bomb - giant, creative cocktails with blinking ice cubes. There's parking in the lot for the strip mall in which the bar is located. It's a shame this is sooooo deep in the valley...but if I lived closer, I'd come here often. read more

When you walk in it'll look more like if Disney make a speakeasy then a bar in West Hills with cute decorations all over. The bar is fun, stools are fun, employees in costume. Pretty awesome. They have specialty fun drinks that blink. The MC was handing out Cotton candy, they did some trivia, had free video games. Plus an entire side room with a magician and more games. A large smoking patio with a movie running, plus a DJ when we visited on Friday. I saw they do Karaoke on Thursday, so we'll be back to check that out. I celebrated my 21st birthday at The Rabbit Hole and it was honestly unforgettable. The whole bar was decorated with an Alicyn Wonderland theme -- it felt so magical and creative the second we walked in. Everywhere you looked, there were little details that made it feel like you had stepped into another world. Since my friends and I were all between 18-20 at the time, they let us hang out in this awesome back room before midnight. It wasn't just a basic room either -- we got to play water beer pong, darts, and pool, there was karaoke, live music and a full-on magic show happening too! It was seriously nonstop entertainment and the vibe was just so fun and laid-back. Then when midnight hit and I officially turned 21, they let me into the main bar area -- and even took it a step further by letting me go behind the bar and make my own birthday drink, completely on them. It made the night feel so personal and special. Every single staff member was so welcoming, cool, and made sure the night was unforgettable. the vibes are alright, lively friday night and i had a nice hang with my boyfriend. $5 cover and the bouncer was nice and funny. but as some other reviews also said they over charged my card $10 for some reason (drinks are already pricey for what they are). the youtube 'rave lights' video projections on the walls were humorous. had a giggle every time the video ended and the next had to be chosen. the three different movies playing on three different tv's at the same time was also interesting. funny and chill new experience but probably wont be back. read more

Cool dive bar! A lot smaller than I imagined from the photos on their website, but nonetheless, the decor was very trippy and on brand with the Alice theme. All of the staff are very friendly - the bouncers at the door even helped me put on a glow bracelet for a stop light party they were hosting that night!
