One of very few stores that cater specifically to women with real world sizes versus model thin women. Usually well stocked, with markdowns on items. I feel like the clothes are just still more expensive even after discounts are applied. I usually get jeans and these come in different body types. Went in today to find a professional outfit. I was originally looking for a specific dress but quickly realized it wasn't in store. Staff greeted me and inquired if I needed support finding anything. Once I expressed what I was looking for she was extremely helpful and took the time to hang the pants I had found in a dressing room for me, inquired the look I was going for, size I wear in tops, and even found a few tops for me to try and placed them in the room for when I was ready. I was greeted as soon as I walked in with a hello and a nice smile. An associate (Juanita) introduced herself and offered to open a dressing room for me. She came around every so often to take what I had piling up in my arms to my dressing room. She checked on me while trying on items. Helped me find any item I asked about, "do you all have any ribbed sweater tanks?" She showed me exactly where I could find them. She helped me place an online order for an item I couldn't find in my size in-store. I was very very happy with the customer service. LB is expensive, just no way around that BUT with them offering coupons of $25 for every $50 you spend, it kind of makes your current and next purchase close to 50% off which is awesome. So, find what you like, buy half, come back in 2 weeks and buy the other half with your all $25 coupons. You only have like a 2 week window to use the coupons and you can't use them right away... you have to wait about 7 days. But if you do it right, you can really cut down on the cost of the items. Good thing is, the clothes are made well enough to last if you take care of them. So you get bang for your buck. I do wish LB was a bit more fashion forward, or at least have a section for a younger demographic. The cuts, designs, and patterns aren't always very "woman of size" flattering, and the clothes aren't "cute," or "sexy," they're kind of matronly, but they carry large sizes, and that can be hard to find. K I saw sizes 10-26 in store. Of course the smaller sizes are scarce, you'll mostly see sizes 16 and up. You can also get fitted for bras here. Keep the girls sittin up right and proper! They have a large bra selection ranging from Sexy...ish to SUPPORTIVE! Their strapless bras are second to none. They also have shapers of various levels from simple smoothing to snatchtastic, and they come in various styles (strapless, adjustable, high waisted tummy controlling shorts, full body tummy controlling 'rompers', body suits, etc) There's a very small selection of shoes, they're mostly returns, per the staff, so sizes are limited. If you need wide shoes or boots to fit a larger calf, you might be in luck if they have your size. read more

Their business hours show they open at 10am. I was at the store at 10:10 am and the doors were still locked. No one in sight. I tried calling the store and once the automated machine tried to transferred me to a rep, the call would end. Such horrible customer service! read more

The manager (Rose) in this location is disrespectful and rude to her workers and customers. I watched her sales associate say hello to her, she act as though she did not here her. She never say hello or greet her customers. No more lane breast for me. read more

Excellent and super friendly service. Such an improvement from when I shopped there a few years ago. The store is well stocked and they seriously have the best bras. I didn't have time to look around as I was short on time but I will definitely be back to do some shopping. read more

Customer service is horrible. Their selection is very limited. Location is great but their service needs improvement. We were not welcomed in and out asked if we needed help........ which we did. I usually go to the location at Lakewood mail. I'll just go back to that location. read more

Currently Lane Bryant is violating California state law by having a different return policy posted than the return policy they are enforcing. While I was able to get them to take the return, I had to stand my ground and insist upon it, and when they tried to shame me about me returning the items I had to forcefully state that they needed to speak to corporate management about following the law in the state of California in regards to their returns. The manager told me that there are more laws in California than there are people and I again had to stand my ground and say there are 34 million people in the state of California which is more than the entire population of Canada I doubt there are more laws in the state of California than there are people. It should not be the responsibility of the customer to know California law, and it should not be the responsibility of a customer to have to insist that a store follow the laws of the state that it is operating in. I should not have to feel embarrassed or upset because a store is not following the law. Do not shop here. Who knows how many people have been denied the ability to do a return at the store when they are legally allowed to. This is tantamount to fraud and theft and the state of California should open an investigation into the company. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! You will not be helped and if you ask for help you will be ignored. Four employees were present when I walked in and they behaved as if it was a chore for them to do their job. They also had empty racks and no inventory. I have shopped at Lane Bryant for years and never experienced service like I did here. This is a new location. The location at Montebello Mall is closed. I highly recommend you keep driving and go to the Lakewood Mall. Great service there. read more

I'm only giving 2 starts bcz I did find something to wear on the clearance rack. However, this store's selection is HORRIBLE! Seems like all they have are racks with one of each item. Like if this is a store used for returns only. Kind of like a Ross store. I always shopped at Avenue but when they closed I had no choice but to come here. Now I know why I stayed away. Can't wait for my weight loss surgery so I don't have to come here anymore! read more

I can't believe this store is still open. The customer service is terrible. The staff act as if it's an inconvenience to be nice and show some type of care. Even a 'Hi, how can I help you' could have sufficed. I barely got a 'someone will be with you in a minute' after getting looked up and down and given a 'why are you wasting my time' look while holding an online return bag. There were only two other customers in the store. I've only been in this location 3 times and it's enough to NEVER come back. They need a serious check on their management and consideration to customers who still like the brand. read more
