When I emailed yesterday to confirm, he said he is not available for foreseable future and they are an HVAC company and don't do just plumbing installs. I finally reached out to Cota & Cota, seeing that they offered plumbing services. They said they typically only provided those services to gas customers (we were buying from Bob's), but I told them we were desperate, so they agreed to help. They showed up within 24 hours every time I called (which was at least five times over one summer) to get patch work done. Eventually, we decided on doing a full pipe replacement. They completed that work in 48 hours, and they did so despite a low electrical current running through the pipes thanks to dome DIY wiring the previous owners did and decided not to tell us about. We still need a new filtration system to reduce the acidity of our well water, but we now have functional pipes (mostly plastic). As far as I'm concerned, this company saved our home, and we are forever grateful.

The issue is that YOU HAVE to verify what they are going to charge you for showing up before they come out. Obviously you won't know the parts and labor up front but just to show up their seemed to be some hidden charges. I called first thing in the morning and they said they had an opening and would be out late morning. Never was I told that this was considered an after hours/emergency call. It was a weekday at 9 am. They came out and like I said they were extremely friendly. They were here about 45 minutes and were done. When I received the bill in the mail it showed that I was charged their normal $120 for an hour of work then an extra $60 for a half hour of travel time?? And finally another $60 fee for same day service. ($240 just to come by). I called to verify this and in fact they said oh they should of told you when you called that we charge for travel time and same day service. I just wish they were upfront with those costs when I called to schedule an appointment. I in no way was in an emergency situation. I would use them again if I needed but I definitely will go over all the costs for them to show up.
