After traveling over 400 miles on the implacably maintained Interstates I-8 & I-10 (NOT) in Arizona this Winter. In my opinion, the worst Interstate highways in the western US. Our truck began pulling to the right. We were in Quartzsite and I needed the front end alignment before continuing the next few months of our Southwest winter travels. I had only two days to get the alignment done before we planned to leave Quartzsite so I started calling Alignment Businesses, most were busy and did not have an opening in my short time limit. When I called Wes at Lane's Alignment on Monday morning, he said they had an opening on Thursday. I told him of my timing problem and he checked his schedules and said he would squeeze me in on Wednesday at 11:00am. I showed up a half hour early, just in case and after my check-in the alignment bay was empty early and they took my truck straight in. As I drove back to Quartzsite the alignment was perfect. And in their inspection of my suspension they found that both my upper & lower ball joints were worn and were thus in need of replacement. I told him I would probably put another 500 miles on it before arriving home and he said it probably would be no problem. The charges for what they did was very acceptable. Had fuel pump replaced with the nappa warranty there and the pump they replaced it as soon as I went to put fuel in the gas gauge never worked well they claimed it was my gauges that were faulty so there was nothing they were going to I had to leave town to take a 1600 mile trip with no fuel gauge not happy but had to go once I got back into Oregon I went to a netural shop to have it looked at and the told me gauges were fine bad sending unit on the new fuel pump and was informed that they never installed a nappa pump but one from O'Reilly's and so I had this document and then went to a nappa service center in Oregon and had to buy and have a new fuel pump installed at over 500 dollars due to the fact of it being and O'Reilly pump so not covered so now I will have to seek damages through another avenue to get my $500 plus back which I will do will post picture of shops findings with this review maybe this company will reimburse me for my money what happened what happened so if they read this they know who I am and I will give them a chance before taking them to small claims Court for voiding my warranty ps just to be fair the other nappa service center put a set of gauges in it to just be sure and this did nothing so I had them installed the new pump and they put my old gauges back in and did charge me for this service new fuel pump cleared all the trouble than you for there work and being fair to all parties read more

I have a 2019 dodge ram and a 1999 ford f250 I just moved to parker area was looking for an honest mechanic . I went to lanes for air conditioning problem with the Ford they wanted to charge 2600.00 I went for a 2nd opinion and got the job done foe 1020.00 I had also taken my dodge in for engine light on they charge me outrageous price for a sensor replacement, and shortly after I smelt exhaust smell in the cab . I looked around the engine and found that they did not tighten the turbo hose clamp back down. So I took ot back to them to make sure there was nothing else loose . So they took in the truck and shortly called me back and told me that the whole exhaust system was plugged beyond repair and wanted to charge me 4509.00 to replace the whole system . So I took the truck to a dodge dealer abd the informed me that the truck is equipped with a automatic diesel particle filter cleaner they also showed me how to check condition of the system and turns out it was only 25% and was already in cleaning mode . Man I wonder how many people that don't know get taken advantage of I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! read more

went in with a problem ended up with a 1700 tune up im not sure i even needed, leaving me with a note from mechanic saying it still has the same issue and i need to replace the egr valve and that my truck will continue to stall if i don't replace. now I get to take truck some where else to fix truck correctly and pay several hundred dollars in labor to replace a part that should have been done during tune up. these guys know how to put the squeeze on you, well see how they do in small claims court.....soon!!! mike volz read more

I had a tread separate on a trailer tire tire on the way back to Parker, AZ (from Havasu) and I was able to limp into town and park the boat in my storage. Not wanting to deal with it on my next river trip...I called Lane's a few days later and Lane promptly ordered me all new tires so I could get them replaced in 1 day, as I had to drive back out to Parker from CA. Promptly at 1pm...Lane took the boat/trailer into the shop and he had all 4 tires plus the spare mounted and balanced within the hour. I was in for check engine light on p0962 a/t clutch pressure switch and p0847 transmission fluid pressure switch. they changed clutch pressure control solenoid and 3rd gear pressure switch. transmission oil switch cost $189.93 plus labor of $149.50 and transmission solenoid assembly cost $660.25 plus labor of $187.25. also an o ring cost $9.67 and gasket cost of 11.67. plus wiper blades for front windshield only $83.10 each x2 = $166.20. total cost of repair was inc. tax and waste materials of $7.50 and shop supplies of $5.00 came to a total of $1,607.77. this repair was done on1/26/2023. I am a snowbird from Washington state and they really saw me coming. I got home to Washington and parked car in garage and noticed an oil type leak that I never had before. I went to my Honda dealer for repair and showed them I had this work done. I had them check for what they would charge and I was taken aback that I was over charged massively for this repair Lanes Tire had done. it comes to find out it was the gasket leaking trans fluid they had replaced during replacement of these parts. my dealership replaced it today for a total cost including labor of 98.76 cents. i strongly recommend to anyone ( BEWARE)!!!! if you go this so called establishment turn and run as fast as you can with wallet intact. Kristi was the service advisor and I believe she took me to the cleaners based on facts the repair from my Honda dealership would have charged for the same service. difference of hundreds of dollars. Amazing service, amazing people Lane fixed our Chevy Silverado High-country it purrs like a kitten again. Oil pump/ belts etc. he took the time to explain everything and we have a fxed electronic device that tells us what's wrong and Lane said exactly what it said with more precision of course, but I say that to say he's a great mechanic that does not take advantage. I just had a great experience with this shop. My Suburban broke down on Rice Rd on my way back home to CA. It was clear that there was something VERY wrong with the front left wheel! I arranged a tow truck to pick up myself, my 2 kids and my 4 dogs. I asked a friend who has lots of friends in Parker where they would recommend taking my vehicle. They told me about Lanes so I called and they could not have been nicer, it looked like it would not be possible for me to get there before closing time, they said "don't worry, just leave the car by the side of the shop and drop the keys in the mailbox". To my surprise, when we arrived half an hour AFTER closing time, they were waiting for us. They helped us unload our luggage (and dogs) and took my car into the shop area. They insisted on waiting with us until our ride got there and even offered to give us a ride (dogs and all!) They called promptly the next morning with an diagnosis and an estimate, and told me they would for sure have it fixed by the end of the day. The price was VERY fair, I expected it to cost a lot more. THEN they called me at 1 PM and told me it was ready! I would recommend this shop to anyone living in Parker or anyone visiting who has car trouble. They are fair and fast and friendly :) read more
