Instead of taking accountability for their mistake, they escalated the situation by sending the balance to a collection agency. This is incredibly upsetting and unprofessional, especially considering the issue originated from their failure to properly handle the insurance claim. Patients should not be penalized for a provider's billing errors. I strongly recommend that others be cautious, keep detailed records, and follow up closely on any insurance claims if you choose to use this office.

The day of my appointment I called and they said they have no appointment scheduled. So, instead of trying to get me in, they offered to make an appointment three weeks later. Oh, they also did not know what insurance group they were part of. I just moved into this town and I waited for three weeks with tooth pain because I have heard good things about them. However, they couldn't even schedule an appointment correctly. The worst part of it is, people make mistakes, and sometimes computers don't save information correctly. But when a new customer calls you and tells you that they have tooth pain and they were counting the days until they could get into a dentists office, and you don't even try to get a new appointment. That shows true lack of compassion and customer service. Mistakes happen, but its what you do to make things right that makes you a good company.
