My husband was experiencing sever tooth pain and we went to our normal dentist. He prescribed some…read morepain meds and antibiotics and sent us on our way. After a week of my husband being in excruciating pain and 2 hospital visits we decided to call up Grand Dental. I called around 10 this morning and was able to make an appointment at 2:30 the same day! We arrived and were very impressed by the facility, it was super clean and the staff was extremely pleasant. They took us back on time, took an X-ray of his cracked tooth where the pain was coming from. Dr. Kathy came in and advised that we should pull the cracked tooth as well as the wisdom tooth that was next too it that had a slight crack as well. Dr. Mark who was getting ready to leave the office for the day stayed longer to remove the teeth for my husband. He was very funny and put him to ease by cracking some VERY funny jokes. He made sure the gums around the teeth were numb and extracted them. Dr. Marks himself called my husband this evening to make sure that he was doing good and to ensure he wasn't having any problems (major props to him for the personal touch,we were completely shocked that he had called to follow up and appreciated it more than you can imagine). For the first time in a week my husband is going to be able to sleep because he is no longer in pain. We will also be switching dentists after today for the entire family. I have been going to the same dentist since I had teeth and I am more than thrilled to begin using Dr. Marks as our family dentist. Thank you sooo much! You have earned our business.

I requested my records, which by Illinois law, they could had to release, and they would not provide. I submitted several forms to release them to me and they ignored my requests. I went to their facility once and requested my records again and they asked me to fill out the form again and said they would send my records via mail. They did not want to release my records to me because I told them I planned on taking them and going to get the job finished at another dentist office. They were extremely rude and dismissive. I was not allowed to speak to a manager or any one other than a receptionist. I would never go back to this dental facility or recommend this place to anyone else.

I had a very frustrating and concerning experience with this dental office. They failed to submit…read moremy insurance claim within the required 12-month timeframe, and are now attempting to hold me responsible for the full balance. Instead of taking accountability for their mistake, they escalated the situation by sending the balance to a collection agency. This is incredibly upsetting and unprofessional, especially considering the issue originated from their failure to properly handle the insurance claim. Patients should not be penalized for a provider's billing errors. I strongly recommend that others be cautious, keep detailed records, and follow up closely on any insurance claims if you choose to use this office.

How Each practice has different procedures and protocol for the same findings. The doctor and receptionist were also kind and welcoming.
