Apparently, a lot better than Tacoma Power and others. I can't fault Tacoma Power though, their service area is HUGE. Anyway, we have had a few minor outages since we moved here a few years ago, mostly due to trees falling during storms, and OHOP has always had crews on scene by the time we called to notify them that we were affected. They also have very reasonable rates, my house is heated using baseboard heaters and they don't rob me every month during the winter like some companies. Our septic system failed the week before Thanksgiving. We were required to install a new system. After the septic design was completed, our septic design was sent to several companies in Thurston County. Brandon from Bay Shore came out reviewed our site provided detailed information on the install process, how a pump system worked and would be installed. Next Todd, their project manager, called and stated they were able to start our project within 2 days. System was installed within 3 days. Todd and Brandon assisted us with removing excess dirt and rock from our site. Their quick scheduling and communication meant we were down a minimal amount of time without a septic system. Todd's communication throughout the project was 5 stars. He kept us informed daily and was pleasant to work with. The crew on site worked hard each day and kept the project on schedule. One last shout out is to Ann in the office, I intereacted with her several times, and she was pleasant and helpful. Such a Gem! If you need septic work I would definetly work with Bay Shore Septic. I text them at 9:25 asking if they're on the way, no response. I text Again at 9:39 letting them know we've been without water since Friday, only turning on occasionally to flush toilets. He finally gets back to me and says they 2-3 hours behind schedule. So I say "so 11 or 12 then, he says yes. 12:00 goes by and still no show. I get a call from the same number about 12:13 but it's a different person. She insinuates we have an appointment later in the week and I say no, 9:00am this morning. She says there has been some emergency calls so now they're delayed like 2-3 days. I say mine situation isn't an emergency, we have the water shut off, I have a pregnant daughter and my 77 year old mom lives in the house. She claims to be writing this down and said my situation is an emergency so they'll make sure someone comes out today. Now, 7:35 as I'm writing this, nothing. No show, no call, no text. Stay away from these unreliable people and they're uncaring attitude.

This company makes it so difficult to pay them, they don't offer automatic payments through their…read moresystem or even easy online payments, so that when you miss it they late fees are insane. They take advantage of that fact and haven't updated their system to handle it. It's beyond frustrating there isn't another option for a service provider. If you are looking for automated payments, the closest thing I found is connecting my bank to pay my bill through my banking service. I'll be happy once they update their site that's from the early 2000s. They claim their site can't handle payments... yet the person who developed their site has the exact same layout and takes payments via his site... just seems like an excuse and pure laziness/greed on the owners part.
