However, it would be unfortunate if his treatment of customers would be tolerated by a reputable company like State Farm. As a matter of fact, his insulting behavior, the only reason forit me to cancel my insurance policy with State Farm without caring if I had to pay more to another company. Following is what I found unbelievable in treatment of a customer by an insurance agent. The office had recorded my mileage on the car something like 24,000 miles (even now my mileage is less than 10,000) and annual driving mileage as something like 12,000, which in fact it is less than 5,000). When I asked him where he got those numbers from, he said he did know and did not care. And was not happy for me to take the car to his office so he could see the number or even to receive a picture of my odometer. Instead, he asked me to gather a number of documents from places that I have repaired my car (My car was a new Tesla and had never been repaired before). And when I responded that his request was not appropriate, he responded: his direct quote: "I am wasting my time with you" and hung up. I was stunned and extremely angry. Never had seen anybody talking to a customer like that. One can imagine the level of my anger from the fact that even after four months (I waited to see if I could digest such a response) I am still angry and that is why I am writing this review. At the end, the anger is not the only reason I write this review. I believe the company should be informed of this type of behavior. I was a customer for the past 40 years, and this made me to leave State Farm.

As with most people dealing with an insurance company it's a big pain in the rare and our experiences are no exception. After about a year of Steve asking me to allow him to take care of issues that come up with the insurance company and that I should trust him to take care of it. Again after a year of going in circles with Blue Shield I was so discouraged I said OK YOU HANDLE IT! He did, he has and he still is. I'm sleeping better and now when I can't get Blue Shield to process my prescription medications correctly I just send Steve an email and he takes care of it. The best thing about it doesn't cost me or my company anything for him to resolve these issues for us. I'm so impressed with him I've recommended him to others and they all have high praise for him.
