This is my favorite place to order Chinese food! I ordered wonton soup, honey chicken, and chicken lo mein as a take out order. The service is consistently very prompt. Although I have never dined in, I have noticed that the restaurant has adequate seating and is quite clean. The staff is friendly when I have picked up my order. We had a great experience here with our takeout meals. We needed something quick and easy to pick up on the way home from the airport. Takeout order service was quick and easy. I ordered the General Tso chicken, and my husband got the Hunan chicken. Both were really great!! I always get freaked out ordering Chinese food from a place that is not our "regular" spot, but Lans Wok really surprised us with their flavorful chicken and great sized (for the price) portions. We will absolutely be returning here for future meals and it is a great option if you are in the area! read more

Chinese food is something that has to be done right or it shouldn't be done at all finding a place that's doing it right is actually more challenging than it sounds as there just aren't many options around here! Coming here was just of one random thought of let's get Chinese food and let me say I'm very happy we did because the flavors can totally be found here! First off we ordered Orange Chicken it was very orange flavored with a yummy sauce as well as some broccoli scattered though it to soak up more of that yummy sauce! Next we ordered the Hot Spicy Beef it too was very yummy filled with lots of veggies and meat it had a good sauce to it too and it wasn't overly spicy more so just right to pair with the rest of the flavors of the dish. The last thing we ordered the Coconut Chicken was definitely the best as it was crispy just the way it should be with this delicious sauce all over it that was just awesome like that's one of the best Chinese food items I've had in a very long time! The business is located inside a strip mall that has a post office to the right of it so some might overlook it's small location but that would be a mistake as the flavors they are doing here are huge! Something else that was kinda cool is that they gave us an awesome bamboo calendar for the new year that has a bunch of cool things on it so thank you to them for that! Overall this is a yummy hole in the wall spot in an unsuspecting plaza in the middle of Pennsylvania so don't overlook it as it's totally yummy so much so I know I'll be back again very soon for what's totally good in Chinese way! read more

Great place, food was 10/10. The inside was clean, down to last dust particle. The wait time was decent. Finally the service was good, nothing special about it was just good. If you're in Harrisburg you should try this place out. Sesame is what I got btw. read more

Good, quick food for lunch. We were pressed for time. So we came here for lunch. There was no one in the restaurant, but they had quite a few orders to go ready for pickup. The three of us placed our orders, Szechuan Chicken, Beef and broccoli, and Pepper steak. All 3 were made very quickly. They were nice and hot and spicy. We were in and out in record time and on our way back to our meeting with time to spare. Good food. Good service. Fast. What more could you ask for. read more

I didn't know what to think of this place. Dingy and dark, but home to a hardworking and efficient crew which turns out decent quality chow. As an out of towner I'm not sure one would ever choose this place, but it certainly is a reliable take away if that is what you need. read more

Food was EXCELLENT but the service is sooooooo slow - all I ordered was a gen tso combo and it took forever. Place is so dark inside you won't even know it's open. This place is really good. The dumplings are a rare jewel. I would go back just for them. I had the Mei Fun noodles. They were very flavorful and very warm, despite the ride home. Everything had a real authentic taste without a processed flavor. The only thing was the black pepper chicken had more of a General So taste profile. We were driving through Middletown when my son declared he was hungry for Chinese. We spotted this place and decided to give it a try. Boy were we impressed. While the store itself may not be much to look at from the outside it has what it counts when it comes to food. The food was hot, tasty, served quickly and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. It's now our favorite go to spot for Chinese! My son declared their sweet and sour chicken his favorite of all time. Finally, a decent Asian American restaurant in my area. Lans Wok is clean, has a great menu, great prices, and the food we had here was excellent. The Spring Rolls were the best I have had in a long time. If you are mostly Vegan, like me, try the Bean Curd and Mixed Vegetables. Total delicious. The location is great also being right next to Penn State Harrisburg, the airport, and the train station. Parking is basically unlimited. There are several Asian American restaurants in the Middletown, Steelton, Highspire area but I would call this, so far, the best one around here for this type of food. I won't be going anywhere else soon. I think I have waited for years for a decent Asian food restaurant near me. I don't eat a lot of Chinese-type food due to the sodium level, so it took a while to try this place. Unfortunately for me, now I am going to have to visit more often! Yes, it also was the typical mountain of food that I barely was able to finish and at a good price, not very expensive.
