Golden dragon is what I look for when I am craving Chinese food. It is good, it is fresh, and it tastes yummy. When other places are skimping or using super cheap meats, it does not appear Golden Dragon is! It's always a quick order too - around 10-25 mins tops for a call-in. !! DO NOT EAT THERE. BUGS IN FOOD AND THEY DONT CARE!! My husband ordered chicken fried rice, and as we got to the bottom we found what seems to be a grasshopper leg. I called the store and they said it was probably a "burnt egg". I told them no it wasn't. So we went back to get a refund and the Owner that was cooking the food grabbed the leg, looked at it and said it was "nothing" then threw the leg at my husband and told him to leave. We weren't upset about the leg, cause we get things happen. But the fact that he threw the bug leg at my husband just shows how unprofessional and disrespectful they are to their customers. This place was close to work so I decided to give it a try. The place looks clean and well lit. They have giant menus when you walked in. They had a huge variety of lunch specials for under $6. You can't beat that price. I got the Szechuan chicken but asked for it to be a little spicier than normal. I guess I should've tried it first before asking it to be spicier. The man behind the counter said medium or extra spicy. I asked if there was something inbetween. He said no. Oh well, I took my chances and asked for extra spicy. (Something I'll come to regret in 15 mins) I waited for a few minutes for my food. It was pretty fast. When I took a bite...holy moley! It was hot! I probably pulled out at least 4-5 chili peppers and the sauce had lots of bits of peppers in it. I guess this is what I asked for. The bits that I did manage to eat were good. Next time...normal heat. The fried rice was okay, didn't have too much flavoring. The chicken and the variety of veggies with it was good. I asked to upgrade my spring roll to a pork egg roll. He said it was a .15 up charge. No biggie. I thought that was good. I will return. The place was nice. I do wished they had pictures since I'm not too familiar with other dishes they make besides the basic American Chinese food. read more

Best Chinese food in the area . Moved here from NY and it's the best that I found so far.

This place has been on a decline since covid. When they first reopened and remodeled the food was great but they are not so great anymore. Ordered beef and broc lunch special and got about 4 pieces of beef. Not acceptable . I hope they can improve or I wont be going back. read more

I returned to the area to discover this place is a shell of its former self.... first off- it smells like a deep fryer in need of cleaning.... obviously they are too cheap to turn on the exhaust fan... or make vegetable spring rolls- they are out... sheerly lazy- then the fried rice - BLAND- Big hunks of broccoli was 40% of the dish- how forgettable was this?... Picked up take out that took an hour as opposed to the 25 minutes that they indicated. Had them repeat the order when we picked it up. Got home, my shrimp fried rice had no shrimp. Called and was told to come back in - which would have been about 45 minutes round trip - requested a refund for the difference. Was told that I was not seeing the shrimp - I do know what shrimp looks like and there was none. They hung up on me three times and then had their phone go to a full mailbox. Extremely poor customer service and the food that we did get was bland and cheap. I do NOT recommend. read more

I got 2 small shrimp fried rice orders. The gentleman at the counter was very nice. We enjoyed it. Not greasy at all. Well done with great flavors. Reasonable price. Based on the reviews I've read and the fact that it's very close to my house, I wanted to love this place. But cannot say that I do. First off I ordered vegetable steamed dumplings, and while they were steamed they were not vegetable dumplings. I was already home when I realized it and since I'm not a vegetarian I ate them anyway and must say they were good, but still not what I ordered. The vegetable egg foo yong was one huge piece of broccoliAnd was over done. The wonton egg drop soup was very good. My granddaughter had the shrimp lo mein and seem to love it, I thought it was a little greasy. Since is the first time that I've been there since they have new ownership I might give another Try. Golden Dragon is the only Chinese restaurant that I order from. Their food is always fresh and filled with flavor. The dishes that the offer include lots of standards like General Tso and Chicken with Broccoli. But, I have gone off the beaten path and ordered more complex dishes and those are equally tasty. The food is always hot and the proportions are huge. I love their dishes with black bean sauce. I also enjoy their hot and sour soup. It can get busy on the weekends so we make sure to phone ahead. I'm glad this restaurant exists. I wouldn't know where else to go to satisfy my Chinese food cravings. Owner and staff are friendly too. read more

I don't see why there would be any reviews less than 3 stars. They make a great chicken and broccoli with a spicy garlic sauce, and big chucks of carrots. It's delicious. I get there lunch special like once a week for $5.75. It comes with a spring roll (not an egg roll) which I prefer. Cannot beat it. read more

I order the Generals Tso chicken combination platter, the pork lo mien and she order two other dishes and an eggroll. We got more food than expected. We were disappointed in the eggroll, it looked to be the typical pre-made re-fried cabbage egg rolls. One of the 2 dishes my wife got was very good, i can't remember what exactly she ordered. I have ordered here 3 or 4 times and loved it every time. New owners and much cleaner. They have the best Wonton Soup. The best I have had. I love me some good wonton soup and its made with chicken stock and not water. Over all the menu is limited but hoping they expand it and add Spare ribs bone in and boneless and adding chicken w/broccoli and black bean sauce. I have to disagree with the other reviewer didn't like the Pho. It's great! They use chicken stock instead of beef stock, and while the makes the flavor different, I love it. I've also been to EVERY Pho place in the area and it's a welcome change with a refreshing taste. I find I don't have to add hoison and or red rooster sauce, the flavor tastes that great and natural. Again, it's a different flavor than most pho due to the chicken stock broth, but I can't get enough of it. Also, they have summer rolls (but this will take about 30 min to order) Pho takes about 15 min. They make it made to order. Again, it's all very good and the portions are HUGE. Much bigger than anyone elses large Pho. I've gotten take out many times and it can feed 2-3 people! read more
