Booked reservation for 3 people but our 3rd had car trouble that morning and couldn't make it. I was later billed for the 3rd person as a No-Show. I called the General Manager Andy Mollerud twice and left voicemails but he did not even have the courtesy to call me back. They were not even busy as our twosome was followed by a single and no one behind him for a few tee times at least. Anytime one of our group hasn't been able to make it last minute at other courses they never charge me. On top of that, before our round finished my playing partner was very mad that the fairways were soaked and even had large puddles despite not much rain. The greens were very sandy and patchy and your ball bounced around a lot. Needless to say we will not be returning. Poor customer service combined with bad course conditions = no more visits. Don't waste your money! read more

Arrived at Lansbrook GC and the parking lot was full! Everybody and there brother was here today. Lansbrook GC is rolling in the dough today. I walked into the proshop and checked in and the staff member was very welcoming and told me that the tee box was clear, and I could go out once I loaded my cart. I told him I wanted to play with some other player so I would wait until somebody else checked in. That took another 30 minutes or so. I used this time wisely and got to slices of mushroom pizza at the restaurant and they were really good. I don't think I took a picture of them, sorry guys. After a pretty good lunch I went and hit some balls on the driving range with we pretty full, was able to find a couple of empty spots at the end of the row. Which was a good thing since one of the female golfer on the range was suffering from heat exhaustion and I told her to please sit in my cart to get some shade. She was fine after a few minutes of resting in the shade. The range is good and I was able to warm up and get ready for another awesome day of golf. After that I putted for a few and met another player who was about to go to the first tee box. Some pros and cons. Pros: Convenient location, easy access with plenty of parking. The staff here in the proshop were welcoming and had a great sense of humor, thank for that! The golf carts seem to be newer with GPS, nice ride! The practice areas here are in good shape, putting green with adequate room. Driving range wide enough to accommodate several golfers. You are not forced to play in a foursome. Some courses love to do this, which I'm ok with, but I'd rather see it as a choice and not a requirement. The bar area is nice to have a sandwich or a slice of pizza before or during your round as well as a beverage after your round. There is also a beverage cart and saw it several times throughout the round so there is no reason to go thirsty during the day. Cons: The chipping green to work on your short game with a sand trap to utilize as well is only for members. At the turn we hit a wall, and it took 3 hours to finish, it was so painful, lots of waiting on each hole, like 10 minutes if not longer sometime with no ranger to monitor pace of play. read more

Played the course this morning and was impressed with the condition and the speed of the greens. The course is in really good shape and I've always been a fan of this wooded, challenging, and diverse tract. The clubhouse isn't necessarily impressive but is well stocked and has everything you would need. read more

3 and 1/2 hours to play nine holes yesterday. Crowded first tee, start times late already. Waited on every shot. There was a marshal on course evidently but nothing was done to speed up play. Ladies restroom on #7 was DISGUSTING . Filthy, trash overflowing all over the sopping wet floor. We stopped at the turn and got a 9 hole rain check but won't be back. Don't charge top dollar when the greens are top dressed with sand and bumpy Not worth $60+. Let the public players know what to expect or discount the price. Very poor customer experience. I booked a Tee time on GolfNow at Lansbrook for 2 we arrived on time and paid separately. We paid a round. 2 days later I was charged for 2 as a no show. I called the course and was told that I would have to take it up with GolfNow. I called them and was told that all transaction was made at Lansbrook, and I would have to take it up with them. I did and was told to email the manager. I did he told me that it was my mistake, and he would not reimburse me. That is the last time I play at Lansbrook. There are 4 of us that play there 2 to 3 time a month. read more

Slow play. They overbook and have no idea how to space out t-times. Takes 5-51/2 hours to play this course. It's a constant back up without any ranger keeping it moving at a normal pace. Played 4 times and every time, it's backed up and takes way too long to play. read more

Possibly the worst managed course in the state. Our tee time was changed without notice. When we complained the rude worker said that tee times are changed all the time. If we wanted a later time we have booked it. Course conditions were well below average. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've had at a golf course in Tampa bay. It took us 2 HOURS to get through 5 HOLES. Tee times don't even exist here and there aren't even enough carts to cover the amount of people they're letting out there. Not an expensive course but not worth the $85 I paid late on a Sunday morning. The course is fun but not in great shape. Sandy greens and plenty of fairway that needs repair. We don't play golf but we heard the pizza at the club is excellent so we decided to give it a try. It was my husband's birthday and he ordered one pepperoni with sausage and one plain cheese. It came out so good! The crust was nice and crunchy on the bottom and the top was juicy. Heard the chef is from Italy and it definitely shows. Definitely recommend this for anyone who is a pizza lover. I'm from upstate New York so my standards are pretty high. Thanks for such a great pizza! read more

We booked a foursome here for a Saturday late afternoon tee time and really enjoyed our experience here. The atmosphere is very casual and the course itself was well kept. As with any community, you have to deal with the local club members disregarding tee times to get a couple games of golf in before dinner but that just come with the time and territory. The staff were very nice and helpful, just delightful people all around. The club house isn't the nicest of houses but it's clean and has a welcoming vibe to it. We were sad to miss out on the pizza (word on the street is it's FANTASTIC) but will absolutely be grabbing one the next time we come back. read more

Really don't know what has happened to this course. The greens and fairways were beat up, cart path was full of ruts and holes and the ponds full of scum and dead fish. If I could give this place no stars then I would. Took over 6 hours to play 18 holes on a Thursday. Pace of play was horrible, course conditions were mediocre at best, and the staff was very unfriendly. We had one of our friends playing with us from out of town and he rented a set of clubs to use for the round, and the next day he received a charge for $200 which they said was from him breaking a 6 iron in half which was completely false. He returned the clubs in the exact condition that he received them and none of the clubs were broken or damaged. I assume that since he was from out of town they decided to take advantage of him knowing he wouldn't be in the area to fight it. They could not provide any proof or any sort of negotiation at all. Overall this place is an absolute dump. I feel sorry for anyone who wastes their money here. Go play Eagles or Chi Chi instead, this place sucks read more

Golf course was not in bad shape. In fact greens were very good. But - the course was overbooked, no ranger to speed up slow golfers, maybe 2-3 ball washers that actually worked, and NO drinkable water anywhere on the course. Had a 5 hour round. It took us 3 hours to play the first nine because of slow play ahead. We had a 1pm tee time and didn't tee off till at least 1:15. asked the starter how to know if the pins were in front part of green or center or back. He had no idea what I was talking about. I am a PDP member and play around 3-5 times a week. The condition of the greens are very good. The overall condition of the course is one of the best in the area. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Pricing is very affordable. The range offers a wide open field and offers a great practicing facility, especially the new chipping area is superbe!! Keep in mind this is not a pricy PGA club- so all in all I can highly recommend this club! read more

What a waste of my time and money. This course was like a goat ranch. The was barley any grass, the grass that they did have was dead, greens hard as cement and also dead. We waited on every hole. Ended up leaving before even playing the 6th after 2 hours. They had the sprinklers going on the 7th hole. The pictures are very deceiving. read more

We got paired up as a 4 some, not even a question if we'd be okay with it. Front 9 took 2 and a half hours due to slow play infront of us, the 4some in front, 1 of the players didn't even have clubs... we get to the back 9, and no joke, 8 carts were there waiting... no course ranger, nothing! On 10, the group behind us, decided to go play ahead to 11, not even asking if we were okay with it! I would not recommend this course on a busy day due to the lack of course etiquette! Played a round at last room yesterday. Saw the snack cart once, and never saw the ranger to tell them that the group ahead of us was playing extremely slow.. then our Cart died. Couldn't get ahold of anyone at the clubhouse or restaurant. So we had to walk the last 2 holes. When we talked with the GM all that was offered was a 10 dollar coupon... no thanks. This is a very enjoyable course with lots of tight fairways and water lined holes and a few par 3 with carries over water. Not going to lie it's a challenging course - it does get packed during the summer as most courses and there was no one to keep the pace of the player so you have to play in a hurry. There are no bathrooms in the first nine holes or water supplies...after a heavy rain there is a drainage problem. The views are very beautiful and a lot of big trees with shades...be careful of the wildlife...gators, deer, etc. Please do not bother them and they will not bother you. They staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. You can even join their insider club which offers reduced green fees at 8 local courses and at many more affiliate courses nationwide...overall a GREAT course for the family. read more

What an awesome experience today! Probably the best greens within 100 miles and I've played all of the top private courses in the area. When I first got there I was greeted by a very pleasant guy named Larry in the lot who asked me for my tee time and directed me to the pro shop. Once I was in the pro shop I was greeting by a guy named Tom and he was so helpful and professional. He showed me these new belts they got and He was so nice I actually bought one! I got to the first green and I thought I was at Augusta. Greens are running a 12 at least. I even stopped the superintendent named Mike and he took the time to talk to me about the course and his process on the greens. I highly recommend this golf course based on the staff, the layout, and the greens. Best value in Tampa bay hands down!!! I will %100 be back!!! Great job Lansbrook!!! read more

Really like this course! Their monthly membership is the best I have found! If you live golf and want to get better, check out Landsbook. Additionally very young adult friendly which I like. I like to see teenagers out playing golf and learning, not just on their phones. read more

Lansbrook is a very nice layout and a fun course that's in great shape, but is overbooked and they don't know how to set tee times. It is very slow pace of play, expect a round to take 5-6 hours if it is busy and they are stacked up. Needs to have a ranger constantly moving through the course and making sure it doesn't stack up. Club house staff member was extremely friendly and accommodating. It got a little backed up on the back nine, normal for most courses in Tampa area especially on a Sunday. Fairways are tight, greens have a lot of bunkers around them, accuracy matters more than distance on this course. Plays 6,300 from the blues. Greens are not flat and are tricky, tough reads. It's been more than a year since I played a round of golf here at Lansbrook Golf Club and I was very disappointed from the moment I stepped in to pay. $50 for a round of golf at this sand swept excuse for a course is robbery. Their new greens are nice but don't roll, and the fairways are nearly absent of grass in a larger sense at more than half the track. I'll never waste my money there again at any price, and for $35-$50 you can choose a half dozen alternatives within a 15 minute drive that will seem like you're at a private club. Avoid a round here - go to the beach instead! read more
