She was screaming bloody murder because he was cutting all the way through the cast and into her skin with the saw. She was cut by the blade 10 times. I was told to bring in my X-rays I had done so he could compare them to what he was supposed to do and wouldn't do it. He told me my shoulder should be stretched until I cried and that my other one looked the same. But I can move the other one without issue and without pain. So no, not actually true! I've been dealing with shoulder pain for 5 months and he's just making me wait too long to get answers I need. I don't appreciate doctors who try to give you the run around. Don't recommend this office at all for Dr. McDermott. I had already waited 6 weeks to see him and should have had a mri done while waiting to see him so now I would know my answers I needed. So now I have to wait another month to figure out what the problem is. He's not helpful! Getting refered to someone else because I don't trust this guy. He's terrible!

I wish I had called Katranji right away, but I relied on Google reviews and was deterred by a few negative ones. So I called a different place. The problem is, the other place requires a referral just to schedule an appointment - which is a terrible policy in my opinion (Katranji doesn't require a referral to make an appointment). So I had to wait over a week just to get in to see my PCP first. That was discouraging because I found out later that surgery on this tendon should be performed within a week. But at least when I did see my PCP, they recommended Katranji instead. By the time I saw Dr Katranji it had already been two weeks since the accident (2 days before I called PCP, 8 days to get in to see them, and 4 more days to see Katranji because the appointment was made on a Friday). I'm grateful that Dr. K and his staff were as forgiving as they were knowledgeable. Because of the time that had elapsed I was concerned, but the doc told me it was fine, and was a relatively easy procedure. Surgery was two days later at McLaren. It went great and I'm on the mend with minimal pain. To summarize, everything that took place once I saw Dr. Katranji was positive, and his staff was kind and professional as well. I'm very grateful. Added bonus: I'm a musician and require the use of my right thumb, index, and middle finger. Luckily I still have full use of those fingers while the rest of my hand heals!

I've been a patient of Dr. Ferro's for years, and he and the entire office has always treated me,…read moreand everyone I know who has gone here, with kindness, considerateness, and the utmost of professional care. my pain issues go back decades; Dr. Ferro is the only person who has been able to treat it effectively. Eventually I got a spinal cord stimulator with cervical leads; these stimulators are MRI compatible, and have been for years. It's been miraculous in its efficacy. I still struggle with low back pain but Dr. Ferro has been treating this with very good results for some time. he's absolutely the best when it comes to diagnosing and treating and I trust him, and his staff completely.

Went here for years. Finally let him implant a spinal neurostimulator in my spine. Couple years…read morelater I developed other spine problems. Dr. Ferro just acted like that's impossible because I have the stimulator. He had me get an x-ray and said that the problem is my hip, not my spine. They then set me up with an Orthopedic Surgeon (according to them, the best Ortho Surgeon in the State. The Ortho Surgeon look at the x-rays and took his own and examined me. He told me that their is nothing wrong with my hip and that the problem is my lumbar spine. (this was my issue for getting the spinal neurostimulator in the first place) I called back to Dr. Ferro's office and left a message and waited for a return call. (this is the only way to get in contact with them) I said "The Orthopedic Surgeon says that my hip is fine and that my lumbar spine is the problem" 2 weeks later I called again and left another message just saying I haven't heard back from the first. 3 days layer I get a call back from one of Ferro's office staff. She said "Dr. Ferro said to tell you that you need to find a surgeon" I then asked For what, my back? Or my hip?" She just hung up. After that they would not return my calls. I even stopped in and they were too busy to talk to me.. Left me hanging after I had been a patient for around 10 years. From my experience and the experiences from others Dr. Ferro is really big on a spinal stimulator being the magic cure all. And once he puts it in your problems are gone and he is done with you. The only way to get ahold of Ferro is to call and leave a message to get a call back. It's been like this even before my ordeal. Many times I would have to call repeatedly over a couple weeks before someone would call back. One time the staff person who called said that she had been trying to call me back for a week and couldn't get an answer. Well: #1. You reached me so I know you are calling the right number. #2. You can't lie about that anymore. When you call a cell phone, whether you get an answer or not the phone records the number that called. In that time period I had plenty of calls, but none from them. #3. Even if I didn't answer not only is the number recorded, but it also goes to voice mail where you can leave a message. I had none. So, since cell phones were invented you can't get away with the "I have been trying to reach you excuse". Also, be aware that once you get a spinal stimulator implant you can no longer have an MRI done. Dr. Ferro told me that it not a problem because he can tell as much from an x-ray or CT scan as an MRI. Wrong, I am slowly losing the use of my right leg.. I am about to have my spinal stimulator removed as I have a serious problem now that 8 Doctors and Surgeons have told me they can't properly diagnose me and won't even try surgery without MRI images. I even called down to the Cleveland Clinic and they told me "Don't even bother making the trip down to them if I can't have an MRI done.

I…read morewas extremely nervous about what would have to be done, but Dr Truluck and his staff very quickly got me set up for the surgery that I needed. I was given options for the surgery, one less invasive and one that would be more restrictive to me once healed. Dr Truluck did not pressure me toward one of these choices or the other. I elected for the less invasive surgery, which went well. At all of my follow ups, I was greeted with a smile by the lovely staff, and especially the radiology tech. I was always treated with respect and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked into the office. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful, and thorough. I ended up doing the second more invasive surgery at a later date because my healing process was complicated. This was at no fault of the doctor. My second surgery was incredible. I have had no complications at all and my recovery has been smooth. I saw Dr Truluck today for the final time and was released to return to work, but only after I let him know that I was ready to go back. Dr Truluck does not pressure his patients one way or another to stay off work too long or to return too quickly. He listens to what he is told by his patients and he follows their lead as to what they feel comfortable doing and not doing. I could not recommend a surgeon or medical staff more than I recommend Dr Truluck and his staff. I would gladly go back for any hand related treatment in the future.

He literally looks down his nose at you when he speaks as if you are some annoyance he has to deal with in order to get your money. He yelled at my wife when she asked reasonable questions about the procedure even going so far as to stand up over her and pointing down in an intimidating manner for bothering to question him. The hospital staff was appalled and two attendants present later came into my wife's room to apologize and stress that they are in no way affiliated with Drayer (they wanted to make that very, very clear). We have talked to others in the area who have had similar experiences. There are lots of competent orthopedic surgeons in the area. Do not waste your time with this guy. I would like to say the unprofessionalism is confined to Drayer but when I contacted the office with a billing question, the billing manager Amy promised a call back and we have yet to hear from her (over 30 days now). Do not even consider this business.

We had a moment of confusion concerning my gender, but the Medical Staff was only unfamiliar with my paperwork dilemma. ("Is this an Insurance form or a Medical Form?" is the sort of question a Non-Binary person has to ask when there is only a binary checkbox and it is almost never labeled with the correct terminology. Obvs, nobodies fault stuff like that happens all the time. :) The Medical Assistants were all quick, efficient and genuinely pleased to be of service! They got me in early for my appointment too. I won't say my Doctor's name, but they were openly and respectfully curious as to how they might be of service to a Transgender Person, when so often the past told a different story. :( My Doctor addressed my every concern and meeting with them was very pleasant. The fish tank next to the check-out desk has an _Actual_Literal_Sea_Urchin_! They are very black, except for their orange rude part, and about nine inches across. The Staff Person at the check-out desk was friendly and enthusiastic! They walked me through every step of the check-out process with a smile! The Medical Assistant thanked me for coming in today! I am totally 100% assured that they will follow up with me at every opportunity and that our relationship will continue to be successful and pleasant.

She never did, went there the next day in person and spoke to a nurse practitioner (Beth)who changed the prescription. Her attitude was horrible, told me I was rude for asking to speak with someone in person. She said that my situation was not an urgency, and that it was rude to show up in person to ask for the correction to be made. Then she went on to claim that the reason behind their ineptness was lack of employees. Let me be frank, she is an awful person with a passive aggressive attitude who should not be allowed to speak with patients. Please avoid this place
