Over time I started feeling a bit of a rushed feeling then I started feeling dismissed after my tests came back normal. I've still been struggling with those same symptoms on top of new ones that make the first ones worse. I went to see her yesterday for the new symptoms and the second I started explaining that I was still having the same ones she cut me off and told me she didn't want to talk about those symptoms since the tests came back normal and wanted to focus on the new ones. I was taken aback but switched to the current symptoms. Since the new ones exacerbate the old ones I had to talk about it. And she didn't not like that and told me the results were fine and I was just going to have to accept that this was it. I told her I felt dismissed because the cardiologist I got referred to did not even see me for a follow up she had referred me for. Instead he had his receptionist call and cancel my appointment. She seemed a bit surprised by that and just said she'd review his notes again. At one point she told me she sensed some anxiety from me and I told her yes. My health has been declining for the last year and I'm frustrated and anxious cause I can't eat in fear of making things worse. She then asked if I had a therapist and when I said I was looking to go to one she told me that was good as mental can make physical health worse. I agreed but told her I did not think my symptoms stemmed from that. At some point I said I'd like to leave as I knew I wasn't being heard. We talked more. She told me she thought that there was something physically wrong but my tests came back fine so that was that and I had to accept it and to talk to a therapist about it. When I pushed back and said I would like to see another cardiologist for a second opinion she told me I had seen the best medical professionals available and that I needed to accept it and she felt like I was dismissing her. I told her I appreciated the tests ordered but that I would like to know what is wrong. Shortly after she asked if I wanted to leave and I left. I did get some information for my new symptoms but the overall experience was bad.

They referred me to an 85 year old psychiatrist who has not returned the 1/2 dozen messages I've left. This has been going on since November! My previous psychiatrist retired so I'm looking for a new one to monitor my meds that are no longer working. I'm pretty sure this lack of concern has contributed to the recent increase in suicidal deaths

So fine, made arrangements at work, today is the day for the appointment and I get a call saying the Dr. is out and my appointment needs to be rescheduled. The soonest to see Kondal would be in August lol... the soonest to see any Dr was 2 weeks out...Customer service has gone to absolute crap in this world. great first impression for a new Patient. This review is for the medical practice rather than Dr. Tenenbaum himself…read more I've been a patient of Dr. Tenenbaum (technically one of his physician's assistants...you know the deal) for about 3 years. My medical history is pretty normal, so there isn't much to cover here: go in, get blood work done, get reminded that I have such-and-such value that is slightly above the norm for the population. Rinse, repeat. What drove me away from this practice (other than the 2020 pandemic...) is that Dr. Tenenbaum transitioned his practice to...concierge medicine. This artificially reduces the number of available physicians in the area, ultimately driving up medical costs for patients who do not necessarily need 24/7 support. I cannot ethically support this business practice, despite having the privilege of being able to pay an extra $200/mo for a service that I will likely not benefit significantly from...at least in the short term. I request that physicians reconsider going 100% concierge and consider a hybrid practice model. Allow those who cannot afford concierge medicine the ability to unlock a variety of physicians in the area. Healthcare is challenging enough as it is in this country...please don't add to the problem.
