There are no front windows on the building anymore. It's significantly smaller than what locals will likely be used to from Mays Landing's Petsmart, but for the convenience, I'll take it. There's still a good selection of all the necessities - food, toys, cleanliness products, etc. They included a grooming area, the kitty adoption area, and a training area, as well as the fish wall and some small critters. The training calendar is already chock full of classes and the grooming center was up and running today with customers. Speaking of the grooming center, I went in this morning and inquired about service for dogs who're difficult with nail cutting. I was told it was no problem. I went back tonight with my dog and had his nails cut by Kristen, who came back on the clock just to do it for me. SHE WAS WONDERFUL. I cannot stress this enough, she was absolutely excellent. My dog is crazy about his nails and she was knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and reassuring. He's got nice, shorter nails now and we're set to go back for further trimmings! GO SEE HER! The manager was also on hand, welcoming visitors, and while I didn't catch his name he was helpful and welcoming. Great addition to Somers Point's shopping center.
