I was scheduled for an outpatient procedure at KVMH, but no one informed me that the office would be closed for an extended Christmas break. This left me without any way to reach the clinic for questions or concerns leading up to and after the procedure. While I appreciate Dr. Choi, the lack of communication from his office makes it difficult for patients to get the support they need. Unfortunately, since this is the only Pain Clinic on the island, I don't have other options--but if I did, I would strongly consider switching.

Nathaniel "Nate" Yesan (LMT), the small business owner and massage therapist, facilitated the service and it truly exceeded expectations. He took the time to understand exactly which areas needed attention and applied the right level of pressure where it was most needed. His attentiveness and technique were extremely noticeable, which resulted in an incredible massage. On top of that, the cost was around $100, which was very affordable compared to many other massage businesses in Kauaʻi. His pricing was more than reasonable for the quality of care provided. The inside of the massage studio was cozy, peaceful, and calming. Relaxing music was playing throughout the massage session, which added to the soothing atmosphere. In fact my baby is almost 10 months now (late reviewer) I can still remember the relaxed feeling I had after seeing her. My second pregnancy hit me hard (probably because I had a very demanding toddler at the same time) My back pain was BEYOND. I went to Kauai hoping to relax and re-center. The location of her house was truly serene and just breathtaking. She had all the necessary pregnancy support cushions to really get into the tight areas in my lower back.
