Sometimes they are working good as new, sometimes they are sharpened incorrectly and are a total loss. Rick is the only person in the area I trust with my scissors. We recently had our kitchen stuff sharpened too, so I got a chance to see the whole process. My stuff was sharpened to perfection, and I took the knives home and said nothing to my husband to see if he could notice the difference. He commented how the butcher knife (the first one he used and one we rarely touch) was so much sharper than the others. I told him I'd gotten them sharpened, and he was so impressed he wants them done on the regular now. Rick was super polite about me having to cancel our first appointment, and kept me updated on where he would be since I was going to an appointment he'd already had scheduled. Warmly greeted upon our entry. I remained at the seating area by the entrance, while my family member was discussing battery replacements for three watches. There were various glass display cases with assorted merchandise - necklaces, gems, costume jewelry pieces, watches, etc. There was another customer who came in later and inquired to have watches evaluated to sell with another store employee. After a brief wait, the battery replacements and payment were completed. It was nice to see such professionalism and patient pleasantries observed. If they ignore it will file a writ of bodily attachment which will require them to present to court in person. Failure to do so will result in an arrest warrant issued under the Illinois statutes.
