I hate to do this, but the owner is nice, but I cannot recommend them to anyone. I question if they are legit, but they apparently water proofed my basement idk if they have done that before honestly. Once it was "done" literally the first little bit of rain hit and of course the basement flooded.. And at this point the manager has given up in trying and I have given up in this business. I highly advice against hiring Justin and his company Lapstone LLC. He installed a whole house water filter for my home and incorrectly hooked it up to my heating unit instead of the water supply. I did not realize this issue until several months after the work was completed. I reached out to him serval times seeking a resolution however, he simply refused to fix the matter. I was forced to take him and his company to court. Below is a picture of the ruling against him. Unfortunately, I also hired him to do a second job at my workplace at the same time before I realized the water filterer issue. His crew did a terrible job installing luxury vinyl flooring. Attached are some pictures of what it looks like now. It started separating a few days after the installation. When I reached out to him, he simply applied some glue to the separated flooring panels, make the appearance much worse than before. He again, refused to rectify the issue in spite of my numerous attempts to contact him. I am awaiting a ruling from the Philadelphia Municipal Court regarding this issue at this moment. Please save yourselves the trouble and stay away from this company. If you run into issues during a project, do not count on them to properly fix it. Justin and his team did a great job painting my house. I needed a lot of drywall repair and they took care of that as well. What I liked about Lapstone in general is that I always felt like I was in the loop. Justin's communication on a daily basis helped me understand the progress of the project. Lastly, I was very worried about painters possibly getting paint on my new hardwood floors. Lapstone covered all my floors with this cardboard material to ensure nothing got on them. I've used Justin and his team multiple times in our house and I have been very pleased. Lapstone painted almost the entire interior of our house before we moved in this past summer and they did a fantastic job. We even added some late design details (a shiplap wall and a framed accent wall) and Justin completely understood our style and did a great job. He went to a lot of effort to finish some punchlist items after completion as well. Justin seems to care a lot about his work, and although he is often busy, he has made time to be thorough and follow through.
