Stupidly, I believed that by checking the box that she would just take out the one tooth.. to my horror when my wife went to pick her up, they told her that they had taken out 18 teeth!!! and that she only had 16 teeth left for the rest of her life. I hope that nobody ever goes through what I went through at this place. It's the worst experience that I have ever had at a veterinarian. I wouldn't trust them to do dental work on a rattlesnake. And for God sake, don't check "extract ' without notification.

They use to be a 5 star operation, and very fair in what they charged too. But somewhere along the way greed has taken oven. Our last serval visits we have left feeling we under cared for especially given the price we were charged. A couple of examples, how does a fairly straightforward pet emergency cost significantly more for a office visit that the day and a half stay the Ciera Alto Emergency Hospital that provided not just everything that was done at Mission but more f it including significant time with the night vet and frequent status updates. Cierra Alto did all the lab work again plus more, found medical issue missed by Mission and we left with multiple prescription filled including duplicate 1 prescription also filled at Mission. The shocking part was Cierra charged LESS THAN MISSION, and that included ALL prescriptions and the nighttime emergency vet procedures and time. The total cost at Cierra Alto was about $150 LESS than the just the OFFICE VISIT w/labs and 1 Rx at MISSION. Cierra Alto did significantly more, including duplicating everything Mission had done. To add to insult of high cost at Mission the needed Rx refills filled at Mission simply is highway robbery, I expect a vet office to charge more, even a minimum charge per Rx filled, but 2 Rx filled that together would cost $10 - $20 total for single fill half if that if schedule for auto refills should cost about 15x more than retail and 20-30x wholesale because they were filled at the vets office. No wonder the big beautiful office has been empty the last 2 times I have been there, I don't think I'm the only feeling ripped off for service or items received. I'm now looking for a new vet office. Lovely friendly service is great, but I'm not made of money and am not a fan of being over charged for service or products! An AI summary after inputing my prescription fill charges for each prescription and additional "mandated" fee charge too (it was not mandated, just clinic imposed fee made to look like mandated) is actually spot on on the pricing: "...without active in-clinic nursing care--the price you were charge is on the absolute highest end of veterinary markups". "Long term charge from veterinarian clinic is not sustainable for managing your pets condition" Wow, couldn't say it better. Sorry mission, your owners greed is forcing me leave. I love the care and kindness of the staff, but overall the quality of care is slipping and cost are skyrocketing. When it is cheaper to go to the 24 hr emergency pet hospital than to go to your vet, your vet is simply overcharging. Shame on the owners of Mission, I have a hard time think Dr Kevin can still ge the owner given recent care and charges, it is nit how he started the practice and developed its loyalty of patients/pet owners.

I brought my dog Nacho here for a physical therapy consultation with Dr. Cherry. He had a previous…read morespinal stroke along with 2 TPLO surgeries and has new weakening of his back legs. The consultation went really well and I appreciate how friendly the staff is and Dr. Cherry's support in walking me through the assessments being conducted, what they meant, and things I could do at home for Nacho. Additionally, they were incredibly careful with Nacho and gave him tons of treats to help him sit for the assessment. Within a day or so I got a follow up with at-home exercises along with a plan for physical therapy which included photobiomodulation (laser therapy) and water treadmill. We came back for Nachos first therapy session with Gianna and he was happily sitting for the laser therapy with his goggles because he got plenty of frozen treats to steal his attention. He had some difficulty learning to walk in the underwater treadmill which is normal, and I appreciated being able to watch and help as needed. They also were able to accommodate us leaving through a separate exit due to his reactivity. The therapies are a little expensive, (which is normal for the area) but definitely worth the long term benefits in Nacho's quality of life. I would definitely recommend Animal Care Clinic!
