As soon as we met Sean, we knew that we could relax and totally trust him to take amazing care of our beloved animal companions. Sean is so warm, calm, helpful, conscientious, and compassionate towards animals. He went above and beyond to help our dogs feel at ease. He even took the initiative to do some training with them regarding one's food guarding issues. When we returned from our trip, Sean shared these training techniques with us, which was very helpful. He gave us an honest report on our dogs' time at the pet hotel, seeing our dogs in a really kind and optimistic light. In addition, the facility is clean and offers indoor/outdoor kennels. We requested that our dogs share a kennel. All animal guests also receive loving attention from Sean and daily, private time outside in a large, fenced area. The location is very tranquil. We will definitely board our dogs here again and highly recommend Bakers Ridge Pet Hotel to others.

I came across her website, thought it looked professional, and contacted her. She seemed responsible when she came for the meet and greet, I told her I would leave our key under the mat when we left as I had no spare. So we leave for our vacation and are out of cell phone range several days. When we get back in range, I sent an email to check in since I hadn't heard anything from her since we left. No response and we went out of range again 24 hrs later. Finally, a full week since we left, we got cell phone coverage again and I check my email to find an "urgent" message from her saying she couldn't find the key and, therefore, had been unable to get in to care for our pets! She claimed that she had called multiple times the day she was supposed to start care, but my phone company records showed no evidence of this. And suspiciously, she had not sent an email to attempt contact until the day after I sent mine due to her lack of contact. Of course I freaked out as my pets had been without food and water for 7 days. Luckily, a wonderful friend stepped in to care for them during the last 2 days of our trip and they a) we're alive and b) showed no signs of kidney failure from dehydration when we returned. And funny enough, our key was still right under the welcome mat where we left it. So, in closing, my advice to you, dear reader, is to avoid boneafidepetnanny at all costs if you want someone responsible to care for your pets. And to you, Jeanette stone, my advice would be that if you are stupid and irresponsible enough to forget that you booked a pet sitting job, at least be smart enough to remove the supposedly absent house key from under the door mat after you lie about it.

Although not quite as good (in our…read moreopinion) at first we persisted and, well, they have really stepped up everything in the past several years-- client communication, front office staff and wait times, services offered, etc. The vets and techs are friendly and very knowledgable. And patient with our frightened fur-kids as well. A great facility. We have since moved 2 hours away and still use Hillcrest for routine appointments (Dr Adair is awesome!) and scheduled procedures.

Went for a long time. Dogs acted terrified to enter the building. I should have listened to them…read more They never got used to it. Staff always unfriendly. Asked for tips prior to seeing the dogs. Last straw was my dogs ears glued and no communication as to what happened. I think they probably cut both ears. Will never go here again.

I wanted to try a new grooming place for my dog. They did a decent job on cutting his hair and…read moretrimming his nails. However, there are a few spots that had been missed resulting in a few patches of hair. When i first arrived, i was hit with an overwhelming smell of pee. This wasnt a big deal, because that is to be expected from a facility that tends to animals. I walked in and the 3 people standing behind the counter just looked at me. I was not greeted with welcoming faces. Just mad blank stares. After i has signed in, i had explained that my dog had anxiety towards other dogs ( they bring their personal pets to work). The lady was not very kind when i told her this, yet she did still accommodate me with my furbaby's needs. Overall, the service was ok. I just didn't feel like the workers were happy to be providing these services. Because of this, i do not think i will return.
