Karoly Windows & Doors is a first-class operation! We have never replaced windows before and were nervous going into this project. After reading the reviews for Karoly Windows & Doors on Angie's List, we went to their website and submitted the information needed for an online quote. We received the quote the next day and scheduled an appointment for a free in-home estimate to confirm the measurements and discuss various options. Although we are located outside of Karoly's county range, he was willing to drive a couple of hours to our home since we were replacing all windows and exterior doors. We obtained quotes from other vendors but Karoly won us over with his knowledge, professionalism and very comparable and affordable quote. We ordered Simonton 5500 Reflections double-hung impact-resistant windows, a custom PGT sliding glass door and a front entry door with a sidelight. To our advantage, Simonton was offering a special rebate for 7 or more qualifying windows during the time when our order was being processed. The rebate information was included in the contract we received from Karoly Windows & Doors and Danalyn was very helpful in our submission of the rebate form. We were so happy when we received the $200 gift card from Simonton! When our windows/doors order was completed, Danalyn contacted us to schedule a time for installation. Karoly and his team of 3 expert installers arrived around 9AM and worked until approximately 6PM. They placed mats on the floor by all windows/doors while they worked and did a super job of cleaning up afterwards which included removing all the old windows and doors. Initially, we were told it would be a 2-day installation, but when the team arrived, Karoly indicated they were prepared to do the job in one day to avoid excess driving. We were thrilled to say the least! The inspector came today and signed off on the project, noting the very professional job! We love our new windows and doors! Every time my husband opens the new glass doors, he comments that they deserve to be in a bank vault! They are quality, sturdy and slide with ease! The windows are beautiful and are minimizing moisture in the house and road noise from the outside while the sidelight by the front door is adding much needed light to the interior of our home. read more

UPDATED BELOW! I could really mark it down to a one star now! Not the 5 star I expected. After waiting 6 months for windows, one of them did not fit. Miraculously, they searched around and found one in a warehouse and was able to install it, however, it didn't have a screen. Karolys' office representative ordered a screen and I was advised that it would take 30 days to have it rushed to me. Weill it took 60 days and it was also the wrong size. I forgot to mention that 2 of the 3 windows failed the initial inspection by the city. I live in a condo community and some of my other neighbors have had no issues, so I am surprised at this. I believe the office staff and installers need additional staff to help out. It seems like they are overwhelmed with work. My thought is that the windows/doors.screens, etc need to be double checked when they are received at the warehouse, that way if there is a measurement issue, it can be handled quicker. I do have to add the staff is friendly and professional, but enough is enough with the incorrect sizes and the long waits Update on the screen issue: Just received a call from Karoly windows and the screen is once again delayed with no ETA. Come on , really??? After posting this review, I recieved an email from the Karoly office stating that they are no longer willing to handle helping with the missing screen and I am to call the manufacturer. I called and spoke to the office manager Michaela and she basically told me that because I posted bad reviews they will no longer help with the missing screen and I am to seek help through the manufacturer. I advised Michaela that I was not happy and would make sure to tell my friends. She stated "I don't care about your friends because we do over a million dollars a year and we don't need your friends" WOW! Apparently if a person is not happy, they don't care. ​In one day Karoly and his two helpers removed and discarded our 16 year old wood front entry door and side light. They installed a new impact fiberglass door and a side light with built-in mini-blinds. Also, our rear 8' x 8' sliding glass doors were removed and discarded. Then, they installed two French impact fiberglass doors with built-in mini-blinds and a side light with built-in mini-blinds. The entire crew was very friendly it was very nice talking to them. They did a very good job at preventing concrete dust from going into our house when they were cutting the concrete. They covered the entire 8' x 8' sliding glass door section with plastic and it worked. I am sure that most people can find faults with any business so I will mention two "minor" issues. The first minor issue involved fiberglass droppings. During the entire installation process, they had to cut some fiberglass and they setup their saw on our front lawn. When they left, I noticed that they left an 1' square section of fiberglass droppings on our grass so I cleaned it up. A shop vac would have quickly resolved this issue. Our second minor issue involved openings around the French Doors. I noticed two areas that should have been plugged up to prevent any insects from coming into our living area. One area at the top of the doors was about the size of a square penny. Later, I called Karoly and he sent one of his workers to fix the problem. Overall, my wife and I love our new entry door and French doors. I would definitely recommend Karoly and his crew. read more

We had a wall of 8 glass panel doors that had rotted out, and an old garage entry door. We replaced the glass panel doors with fiberglass hurricane impact doors with enclosed blinds, and replaced the garage entry door with a fiberglass 6 panel hurricane impact door. From start to finish we had an amazing experience working with Karoly and his crew. From the initial estimate, Karoly himself took his time to measure, discuss and review various options for replacing our doors down to the detail of the trim and finishing detail. 2 weeks later our order was in, and our doors were ready for install. Danalyn and Cynthia, Karoly's office team were always very helpful in answering any questions, and very efficient in coordinating the order, work, and inspection. The installation took approximately 2 days - the installation crew was a great team to work with. They worked efficiently as every member had their own specialty of expertise when it came to the install. When it came to finishing detail - Sylvester provided helpful input in the layout of the trim. The end result exceeded our expectations - from the quality of the doors, to the trim work, excellent service, and workmanship. First let me say it was exceptional experience working with Karoly Windows & Doors and we are really glad we hired them. So you gotten your 3 estimates and are now deciding who to hire let me remind you price is only half the equation the other half of the equation is what are you getting for your money. From the moment we met Karoly he came across as trustworthy and through out the process we were never disappointed. His company handled all the pre-installation details, permits, ordering, etc. The installation of 2 of the 4 sliders were on the second floor and made more difficult by limited space and very limited exterior access due to screen caging. Karoly Co. handled this near impossible task by executing with precision that was remarkable. I could go on to tell you how amazing Karoly was to us, but the most important thing to us was we always had the feeling of trust and confidence in the team at Karoly. We were never let down. I contacted Karoly for an estimate he promptly set up an appointment that fit my schedule. Karoly was on time, knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. My experience with Karoly Windows and Doors was awesome. He was recommended to me by my neighbor. I ordered in the middle of the pandemic. My order was delayed due to different shortages with the manufacture. I feel like the pandemic have made me more patient with delays. I experience the same with my new roof. However, the office ladies kept me in the loop and were always helpful. The ladies in the office were super responsive and walk me through the entire project step by step. The actual installation was highly efficient. I had 23 windows, 3 doors and 2 sliding glass doors replaced. Everything hurricane impact rated. The workers were extremely professional, did a great job on the install, and cleaned any mess that they made which was very little. The windows look great. Karoly Windows and Doors was a great company to work with. My windows were very old and not efficient. I replaced them with double pane insulated low e glass windows. Karoly came over himself to talk to me about what I was looking for and gave me recommendations. He inspected all the work that was done himself to make sure I was satisfied. He took care of all the permits and final inspection appointment. The inspector commented that Karoly Windows did a great job!! I had checked a few other prices online plus Home Depot and Lowe's, I found Karoly to be reasonably price and all the work was included. Karoly was very fair with working with me on the price and payment arrangements. He also explained all the paper work and forms for the rebates. All of his men were very nice, polite and prompt. Karoly Windows and Doors is a great company to do business with! They came to my home and offered different types of windows and ideas. They offered 0% financing for 18 months which was great. The installers came as scheduled and told us exactly how they were going to do all the windows. One frame was broken in transit but they ordered another one right away. The installation was professional. They cleaned up and took out all the old windows and trash. They explained how the windows operated for cleaning. All the staff from the installers to project managers were wonderful. Heather had constant communication via email with me throughout the entire process. Scheduling the one window to be installed at a later date was no problem. We did have 2 hurricanes after they were installed and the windows did what they were designed to do! I can't say enough great things about working with Karolly. We had windows replaced in a previous home with a national company, in that case the job was subcontracted and not well handled. This time we vetted much more carefully. The install crew was completely professional, focused, and careful. I felt like they treated my home as if it were their own. We are fully satisfied with the quality of the install and the whole experience from start to finish. We also had a stained glass window removed as a part of the job and it was difficult to say whether they would be able to get it out in one piece so it could be reused and it was, they really went the extra mile and we are so appreciative! We are thrilled with our new windows. Karoly and his team did a fantastic job. His estimate wasn't the most expensive or the least expensive, but he made it clear that his goal was to have a satisfied customer after installation was complete. Since we had 5 geometric arched windows in our order, the ordering process took longer than I would have liked, but the installation went quicker than I expected. They replaced 19 windows, a 2-panel sliding glass door, and a patio door, and were done in a day and a half. We could not brag enough about Karoly Windows and Doors. These guys are perfectionists and went above and beyond to make sure that our huge project went smoothly. We had 29 windows replaced, plus a set of french doors, a sliding glass door, and three other exterior doors. The construction of our house is a bit odd and a lot of our frames are strange shapes and sizes. But they worked tirelessly (through rain and sun!) to make sure everything looks perfect.
